Chapter 9: Mixed Maho Arts - Part 4

Hitaka locked on to Kanjiro with anger in his eyes, Hitaka held out his hand, his palm facing Kanjiro.

Hitaka: Let's see you copy this, peasant. Form 2:Bolt!

Hitaka's hand began to crackle as a blast of lightning flew right toward Kanjiro, it hit him right in the hand, causing him to drop his sword in pain. He quickly dashed around the arena, holding 1 arm behind his back.

Hitaka: You peasants think you have a chance against the nobility, you should just die! Form 3: Wave!

Hitaka held out both his hands, shooting out a wave of water toward Kanjiro, he ducked under it in a 1 arm push-up position. Kanjiro then pushed off under the wave, he then reveal the hand behind his back to be charging up a Combustion and his other arm then charged up a Bolt.

Kanjiro: Well try this out! Combined Form: Combustion Bolt~

Kanjiro put his hands right up to Hitaka's chin, releasing the Combustion Bolt blasting Hitaka out of the arena, and into the ceiling.

Announcer: That was incredible! Kanjiro Samui has destroyed Shime Hitaka!

Kanjiro fist bumped Tozuki as they went into the waiting room, however, something was strange. Everyone was on the left side of the room, looking like they were hiding in the corner except 2 people, Yokio Baizen and Ichizo Kamado.

There Maho leaked from their bodies as they stared at each other with killing intent, Yokio was relatively short and skinny, he wore his black hair in a man bun, and his yellow eyes glowed. He wore a gray t-shirt with a black and white checkered sweater on top. He had black jeans and gray sneakers.

Ichizo was tall and quite bulky, he had spiky blonde hair with a long beard and glowing red eyes. He wore a silky long black robe with wooden sandals.

Yokio: Watch what you say, old man!

Ichizo: I don't have to watch anything, you're an angry child with no power.

Yokio's hair began to stand up, his hair tie broke as his hair flowed, pieces of the floor broke up and flew into the air and the room shook. Ichizo sighed and turned around, walking past Tozuki and Kanjiro exiting the waiting room, the TV then turned to the announcer as everyone began to pay attention to it.

Announcer: Alright everyone! This will be the last fight today and the last fight of the first round! Ichizo Kamado and Yokio Baizen please come up to the arena. Ichizo stood there, menacingly whilst Yokio walked onto the other side, menacingly.

Announcer: Now, start!

Yokio rushed in front of Ichizo, then dodging Ichizo's punch he used the momentum to get behind him. Yokio put his right hand on Ichizo's shoulder, his hand crackled, and then green lightning engulfed his hand, Ichizo's body shook. Ichizo quickly tried to back kick Yokio, which he dodged easily but released his hand from Ichizo's shoulder, the lightning ripped off a part of the robe and left a burn mark.

Ichizo: Your Forza reflects your personality, uncontrollable and angry-

Yokio appeared in front of Ichizo, landing a jab right in his face, he then continued the assault with an uppercut, ending the combo with a calf kick. Ichizo tensed with anger, as veins appeared on his face. Ichizo put his hand up, as Maho drained from everybody in the entire building into himself, he grew to over 7 feet tall and he buffed up quite a bit. Ichizo appeared behind Yokio, landing a right hook to his spine, as Yokio fell to the ground barely holding on. Ichizo kicked Yokio up, Yokio landed on his feet but his eyes were rolled back into his head he began to glow in a green aura releasing massive amounts of Maho.

Yokio's hair flowed upward, he then appeared in front of Ichizo, kicking his right knee and shattering his knee cap. Ichizo fell to the ground but caught himself and flipped over, he then landed on his other leg, getting ready to attack.

Ichizo: Fury 27 + Fury 29, Fusion Fury 28: Fading Death Hook

Ichizo threw a right hook, which Yokio was going to block but it faded right through his arm, hitting Yokio right in the cheek and sending him flying back. Yokio and Ichizo began to trade punches, both sustaining heavy damage, Ichizo threw a left jab, and Yokio then narrowly ducked under the jab hitting Ichizo with a body shot.

Ichizo's robe was completely ripped up, he was barely able to stand but managed to throw another jab but Yokio dodged out of the way again, quickly grabbing his arm and shocking it with green lightning then punched Ichizo with his other arm.

Ichizo screamed in anger and grabbed Yokio's face, slamming him to the ground and draining his Maho. Yokio tried to grab Ichizo's arm but he was slammed to the ground repeatedly, Yokio released all his green lightning using all the Maho he had left. Ichizo and Yokio were both knocked out, as the entire crowd cheered.

Announcer: What an incredible battle! Since both contestants are unable to continue, they will be disqualified and the winner of the 7th fight gets a free pass to the semi-finals! That's it for today folks, come back tomorrow at 1 PM for the 2nd round!

Tozuki and Kanjiro left with the crowd but Tozuki felt something weird, he looked around and everything seemed normal, he blinked and rubbed his eyes, but when he opened them everything was black, he was floating in an endless void of nothingness.

Kanjiro's POV:

Me and Tozuki were leaving the building with the crowd, but Tozuki kept looking around as if something was going to happen, I looked away for a few seconds and then felt something hit me, I turned around to see Tozuki being covered in a purple goo, he began to start attacking random civilians as everyone began to panic.

Kanjiro: What are you doing?!

Tozuki turned around, looking at me now. He had those same glowing yellow eyes the monster from earlier had, but, I thought we defeated it. Well whatever, I put those thoughts to the back of my mind to convince Tozuki to stop.

Kanjiro: please, Tozuki! Stop!

Yokio Baizen

Forza: Colored Lightning
