Chapter 55: Sphere Element

Reigan had been watching the branches going for them, trying to hinder them from running away.

The Leopard used his advantage on climbing the tree while evading every shot of the incoming branches, while Roland used a wind slash to cut those woods, and Reigan used the swiss knife inside the pocket of Roland to help out.

The attack became fiercer when they used another element, the same as Roland, wind.

The slashes were sharp, cutting everything their way, while the ground shook behind them.

The Leopard seeing this, gritted his teeth, feeling angry. What alleviates it was the fact that the female he set his eyes on was with Roland.

He needed to show how handsome he is in order for the female to like him!

Reigan who was called female kept on cursing in his head. He didn't know why he agrees with this! But he never regrets it, seeing how badly injured Lilia and Camilla.

"We can't continue on like this," Reigan shouted while fighting the wind slash with the slash of his own. He was lucky that the pressure was not strong because the owner was far away.

Reigan face forward and the front showed a vast land that was only rock formation.

The shot behind them stops, not because they had no more mana but because the speed of the two was too much for the fairies and trents that were going after their life.

"Did we lost them?" Reigan asked.

"I don't think so," Roland replied. "There was the bridge at the side."

"Let's go there."

"We could but that place... I could sense strong beast."

When Reigan heard the strong beast, his face cleared. "Just go. Choose the most dangerous one."

Roland didn't expect that Reigan was not scared at all, rather he even wants them to choose the most dangerous path.

He sighed helplessly, he would just protect the female(Reigan).

In Reigan mind he was thinking that the more dangerous the place was, the safer it is, besides that, he could use that place to gain more level.

Ever since he asked that weird box he had been thinking about how to gain experience points. He didn't know if the killing monster would help, but it was better than nothing. Gaining experience was one of his topmost priorities.

They were running on the bridge, and The Leopard saw where they went, making him mad with Roland.

The female was always been treated with care and love. They were always been pampered away from great danger but Roland plans to bring the female to the dangerous place!

Dangerous place?

The Leopard grinned thinking of it. Though Roland might also think the same.

That place would be the best place to show that he is worthy to be the female mate! Just thinking of it made the Leopard giddy.

A strong pressure could be felt behind them, making the Leopard move faster than before.

Reigan and Roland also felt the same.

"Roland, you could use your wind powers, right? Used it to push your body forward faster..." Reigan saw the Leopard going near them. "Could you also do that to others?"

"I can, but I could not control the pressure." Roland

Reigan glimpsed at the Leopard and yell "What element can you use?"

The Leopard hearing the female glanced at it and saw that Reigan was looking in his direction. "Wood," he answered in feeling puzzled.

"Can you cover your body with it?!" Reigan inquired.

Roland hearing Reigan question understood what he planned. He couldn't help but grin. 

"I can," replied the Leopard puzzled.

"Do it now," ordered Reigan

"Huh?"

"Cover your body with wood, and move in front of us."

Although the Leopard felt confused he still did so. He whispered something in the air and from his pocket, a wood cover him and Camilla.

"Make the wood thicker on your hind"

"What was this all about for?"

"Just do it, hurry up!"

The Leopard, although felt confused, still did it.

Reigan could feel the pressure behind became stronger and stronger. "Roland-"

"I understand." Roland concentrated. "Wind who gives the breath to live, give me the power to live and control, Wind Control!"

The wind in front of Roland turned strong, as a premonition made the Leopard heart sunk. He used a larger and tougher wood on his body, and a strong force pushed him forward with a large stride.

The wood that covering his body almost turned to ruined and his paws were in the air. He was cursing Roland while his face was distorted because of the air pressure on his face

Roland, on the other hand, covered his body first with a strong wind making sure that the people on his body won't be harmed.

Only then did he bolted forward, with the help of manipulating the wind on his surroundings. His pace is fast but the attack behind them was faster.

They didn't know how fast it was, all they knew was that there was nothing then an ear-piercing sound travels to their ear.

It was 3 elemental spheres going in their direction, the thing was it was formed into a big ball. It was like a 1 story house big, and its speed was so fast making the one they were after sweating a bucket of cold water.

The 3 elements were wood, wind, and water. The big ball of wood that was like entangled yarn was encircled by a moving whirlpool of water which was 1 meter thick. While the air covering it all was making a screeching sound. The wind even made a lining encirclement showing the wind pressure surrounding it. It made one wonder how it crumpled down these three elements and how it made the wind visible to the naked eye.

Not only that, but the wind also helped the fast acceleration of the elemental ball making it almost near Reigan and the co.

They're heartfelt in their throat because the wind that was supposed to protect them was taken by the thing behind them.

The wind was both fierce and fast, they were not sure if they could get out of this alive because it was pulling them in and out.

Reigan even felt his hat flew away, and the egg on his head also tag along with it.

Reigan tried to catch the flying egg but doing so almost separated him from Lilia and Roland.

He hugged Lilia, making her sandwiched between her and Roland while watching the egg separate from him.

It was his only way to be healed, but he couldn't just leave everyone, knowing it was him who put them in such a situation.

Roland tried his best to struggle against the current, but then his feet didn't touch the ground anymore.

Their body was pulled within th24e sphere, as powerlessness took over them.
