Chapter 4 Combat assessment

Vroom, vroom. soon a limo arrived and parked

All eyes were on the limousine with gold colour that just arrived. A moment later, A handsome man with blonde long hair got down and walked towards the podium.

As the blonde man approached the bald muscly man, Everyone could only watch in shock as the bald man bowed and greeted the young man respectfully

"Ah, young master su. welcome, why are you here, I'm just here to assess these kids. pls go enjoy yourself and don't worry with me"; the bald man rambled on in cold sweat.

"Don't worry Mr Leo, I'm only here to watch the assessment as I have nothing to do for today, moreover, if one of these kids manage to catch my eye. As a commander, I must invite them over to the military"; su yang said In a matter of fact tone.

"No, I insist you enjoy your day off young master and not disturb yourself, these kids are average at best, only a few can be described as above average"; Mr Leo said in a slightly scared manner. He knew the military had way more position than the sky battle academy, if su yang wanted a prodigy. he'll get him .

"Hmmm, are you telling me what to do Mr leo"; Su yang furrowed his brows, and asked in an angry and slightly annoyed tone

The atmosphere turned tense as a dense aura starts to exudes from su yang and the winds started to blow violently .

"Of course not Mr yang, just a little suggestion"; Mr Leo laughed awkwardly

Su yang is the current young master and heir to the yang family. The yang family is a noble family in the kingdom with huge authority in the military, and su yang is a talented warrior who reached a power level of one thousand at the age of fifteen, making him able to sense ki at such an early age, Now at the age ag twenty six, su yang managed to attain the rank of commander which means he is the youngest commander in his head quarters, he is also an occasional instructor in the military academy.

Ok, now lets start the assessment, Soon a black jet arrived and although shocked, the forty teenagers got in and the jet shot off towards a strange forest, ok the rules are simple, this machine will create a dome in which beasts can't enter but humans can leave, the last ten people to be in the dome would be the top ten, as he said that, the dome was activated by a machine and all the kids both boys and girls were dropped off with a parachute to take care of themselves. The deadline for the assessment was three days.

"Ahhh, I better make shelter, although there would be no rain due to the dome, I still can't sleep in the open, moreover, this area is as big as the village, so, I should be able to find a cave." ; Marcus said in a slightly excited tone

He started to wander around while occasionally glancing at the bracelet on his wrist which showed his battle power.

"swoosh", An arrow aiming for his leg barely missed.

Although, after the increase in overall strength, Marcus felt his senses heightened, but he still couldn't sense or hear the arrow until it hit the ground

As Marcus was still shocked, a young teenager jumped off a tree and slashed her dagger aiming at Marcus's chest, Marcus saw the girl dressed in black biker shorts and a tank top with dark flowing hair and a beautiful face, Marcus recognized this girl, her name is Ashley but he didn't care enough to remember her surname, thigirl was not only beautiful but also had a power level of one hundred and thirty, Of course Ashley did not look at his bracelet as she was there during his assessment yesterday, and noticed that he has a power level of one hundred and three so....she decided to prey on a weak man

Marcus dodged the attack and smiled while showing her his wrist, Ashley was shocked and scared at the same time. she had attacked a monster.

"Looks like I have to teach a young lady some manners as a gentleman" ; Marcus grinned while licking his lips

"Disgusting bastard,how dare you look at me with lust" ; Ashley said in anger and slashed her dagger at his neck.

Marcus simply hit her wrist and the dagger fell, then he kneed her in the gut, she puked blood and fell back a few steps.

Ashley got back up and blasted off the ground towards Marcus, Marcus simply dodged her punch by tilting his head to the side then chopped at her neck, she fainted.

Marcus picked her up in a princess carry and was about to take her out of the safe zone till he heard a voice that made him furrow his brows in anger.

"Kid, how about you leave the girl here, leave the safe zone and we won't break your legs" ; A guy with bulky arms and an axe said to Marcus

"You guys know that if you rape this girl, the instructor could see you and your warrior career is over for life" ; Marcus said with a grin on his face.

"You, Marcus. that's ur name right ?, you dare tell me how to make my decisions. Now I'll break your legs and also the girl's legs before throwing you out the safe zone" ; The boy said to Marcus in anger as he realized his plan has been ruined by logic and common sense.

Marcus quickly threw Ashley out of the safe zone and got into combat mode, he just formed his left hand into a claw and his right hand into a fist.

"You bastard, you'll pay for your stupidity and idiocy". ;the bulky guy shouted and started walking over to Marcus.

Marcus looked over at the bulky guy's bracelet and saw a power level of two hundred and thirty.

There was a whole thirty marks difference between them.

But instead of fear, excitement took over Marcus.

ATTENTION KIDS, ONLY TWENTY FIVE PEOPLE ARE REMAINING IN THE SAFE SONE, THE SAFE ZONE WILL START SHRINKING IN THIRTY MINUTES.

The announcement took everyone by surprise, Marcus looked over at Ashley who has started approaching the seats with a big screen to oversee the entire arena. he was the one to disqualify her and he was still angry at her for trying to take his life.

"Time to take care of trash; the bulky guy said while brandishing his axe.
