A beautiful sound can be heard being played by the violin and everyone is familiar with it.

It was the first ever violin piece that Chen Lin performed in one of the variety shows where she showcased her talent.

And now it's getting played on her wedding day.

As the music continue to play, all eyes turned towards the back of the room, eagerly awaiting the arrival of the bride.

The enormous doors to the Chapel opened and the first to enter were the groom's family which are Shao Fenfang, Wu Zhou, and the Old Master of the Wu Family.

Then the groom himself.

Wu Changming looked dashing in a suit and the smile on his face made him look more gentle and more like a refined young man.

Then they were followed by the other important people for the wedding.

Shi Yuan walked down the aisle as Chen Lin's Maid of Honor.

Then Chen Jie who was mostly absent in Chen Lin's life is now present at this moment and also walked down the aisle.

And finally, the most awaited person, Chen Lin entered along with her grandfather.

Her veil cascaded from her hair, brushing gently against her skin.

The fabric of her gown and the flowing train behind her glistened in the light as if it were fashioned with crystals. Her gown was a work of art in terms of style and elegance with beautiful lace embellishments.

The gown hugged her body perfectly, showing and accentuating her beauty and grace.

The entire audience was filled with awe and astonishment as she walked down the aisle, captivating the guests and attracting everyone's attention with each step she took.

The entire Chapel was covered in flowers, but none of them compared to the one in the center.

Chen Lin's face was lit up with a smile, and her eyes glittered with happiness as she looked around the room.

Every person that had been a big part of her life is now present at this exact moment.

And the most significant of them all is now waiting for her at the other end of the altar.

Wu Changming extended his hand towards her to which she accepted.

"Take care of her or else..." The old man threatened with his words yet his eyes were smiling, making Chen Lin laugh lightly.

"Yes, Grandpa." Wu Changming nodded with the most serious expression she had ever seen on him.

Their palms were warm, much like their hearts, as they walked closer to the altar hand in hand.

The room was filled with a sense of love and joy, but suddenly, a commotion broke out in the back of the room.

The Chapel's once-closed doors have reopened, and a familiar figure stands in the aisle.

The guests turned to stare, stunned and confused by the disruption.

Shi Yuan stood up, "Liu Yanmei, what are you doing?"

The girl, however, did not respond and continued walking down the aisle, her eyes filled with determination.

Chen Lin furrowed her brows when she saw her.

She couldn't help but turn her head when she noticed Wu Changming letting go of her hand and looking anxious.

Shi Yuan had already approached them and was going to grab Liu Yanmei when the girl remarked, "This wedding can't happen!"

"Meimei!" Wu Changming suddenly exclaimed.

The atmosphere in the room shifted from one of joy and love to one of tension and unease with just those sentences from the two.

Anyone could see that Wu Changming has an unusual relationship with Liu Yanmei with the way he addressed her.

Chen Lin was shaken inside when she heard that.

Wu Changming had always been formal with everyone, especially with other girls since the two of them had gotten together. He even called her by her full name most of the time, and it was the first time she heard him call someone in a much more affectionate manner.

"Liu Yanmei! What in the world are you doing?!" Shi Yuan grabbed her friend's hand, but the girl only shook it.

"What do you mean by doing this?" Chen Lin asked, her eyes narrowing.

Liu Yanmei looked back at her as she stated while emphasizing each word. "Chen Lin, I am pregnant with Brother Ming's child. This wedding can't happen!"

Chen Lin's eyes widened in disbelief as she struggled to process the shocking information that had just been revealed to her.

She felt as though her ears were ringing.

Liu Yanmei, her close friend all these years, is pregnant with her supposed-to-be husband's child?

What kind of bullshit is this?

Chen Lin felt her blood run cold.

Liu Yanmei's voice was loud enough for everyone to hear inside the Chapel.

The guests looked in shock and horror as they gazed at the four people in front of their altar.

They hadn't expected something like this would happen!

"Liu Yanmei—you—" Shi Yuan was stunned and she can barely form her words.

"Wu Changming! How dare you!" An enraged voice can suddenly be heard.

Chen Lin's heart tightened even more as she heard her grandfather's angry words.

Her eyes sting but she fought back the tears that were about to fall as she turned her gaze to the man beside her, who was already as pale as a sheet.

Chen Lin wanted to question why they would do this to her and how long it had been going on, but she didn't want her grandfather to hear more about their disgusting affair, so she kept it all to herself.

The atmosphere in the room had already changed, and it now felt tight and tense.

"What are you talking about? Are you here to set up my son?" Shao Fenfang had already stood up and was about to attack Liu Yanmei when she was abruptly stopped by Wu Changming.

"Mom, stop! Meimei is pregnant! Don't hurt her!"

If there are still a few people who are questioning if there was a misunderstanding, no one doubts that Liu Yanmei is indeed pregnant with Wu Changming's child at this moment.

"You! I'm going to murder you!" Chen Hai, who was already walking with his cane, approached Wu Changming.

"Dad!" Chen Jie assisted his father but the old man only flisk his hand.

"Grandfather!" Chen Lin went to the old man, fearful that something might happen to him.
