I Became a Leader of a New Nation while in Exile

It was supposed to be a new, quiet, and simple life for 15-year-old noble boy Nate Wole, who was kicked out and exiled by his family for being too weak in favor of his older brother, Hertzel, a selfish warrior who cares only about himself and his skills in magic. Desperate, he traveled to the lowlands of Wooda, where while camping, he had an unlucky encounter with one of the collection of tribes of the Undead Animals, a bunch of hostile undead animals who can wield weapons and shapeshift into humans and were despised and hunted by humans. After getting killed by one of them under an Undead lion named Sati, Nate was saved by them after they regretted their decision to kill him, and Sati eventually gave his position as tribal leader to him. Nate was shocked to here that, but he has no choice but to accept it. And now, he is a leader of Sati’s lion tribe. Soon, he united the other Undead tribes under the new country name, Wooda, while studying to be a good leader, and changed his identity to Lloyd Lewole, completely vanishing his old identity in order to forget his past. But, will he handle such a great responsibility?

Chapter 26 – Kalelis

Third person POV

1 week later, Lloyd, who had been thinking a lot, decided to try to negotiate with another kingdom for a trade agreement. But not just any kingdom, he decided to negotiate with the kingdom of Kalelis, a kingdom north of Langton. So, one morning, when Zeke was back from his spying hobby, Lloyd made a request to him to go to Kalelis with Hale to negotiate with its current king, Jasiel Kalelis, for a trade agreement.

"What?" Zeke was surprised by that request. "You want me to go to Kalelis for a trade negotiation with their king?"

"Yes, you'll be with Hale-chan," Lloyd responded.

 "Okay, why?"

"Because I want some recognition from at least one kingdom, and also, I felt that our trade is limited and small, so I felt that we should think outside the box, but not up to the point of a trade deficit."

"I see. Sure, I can do that."

With that, Lloyd turned to Sati. "Sati, can you call Hale?"

Sati, who had heard everything, then nodded. "Got it, Lloyd-sama."

He then went off to call Hale, who was outside patrolling the wooden walls with some Undead animals.

Later, Hale came to the office and asked Lloyd about it.

"You'll be the guard and escort for Zeke," Lloyd said to her positively. "Just don't do any harm on the humans."

"Okay, what if they turn hostile to us?"

"Just do any harm on them, but not to death."

Hale then nodded in agreement.

Then, Zeke said to her, "Kalelis will be two days away and have to cross through Langton, too. But if we can fly, it'll only be a couple of hours."

"Sure, that'll be fast," Lloyd totally agreed with him.

He then rolled a piece of paper containing the map of their country and its surrounding geography and gave it to Zeke, "Give this to him."

"I will," Zeke responded as he accepted the order.

"Good, just be prepared. You'll leave before noon."

With that, Zeke and Hale left the office to prepare for the long journey, with their young leader anticipating for their return
