The Basilisk ... A giant serpent, also known as the King of Serpents. It was a magical beast that was usually bred by Dark wizards. Herpo the Foul is the first to breed a Basilisk. Herpo accomplished this by hatching a chicken egg beneath a toad which resulted in the creature known as a Basilisk.
Basilisk breeding will be banned in Medieval times, a regulation that will not change. The practice could be hidden when the Department for Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures came to check by simply removing the egg from the toad.
Looking a Basilisk directly in the eye causes instant death, but an indirect look would merely render the victim Petrified. It is also the mortal enemy of spiders. Spiders refused to speak of the Basilisk, could intuitively sense their presence, and would flee whenever they sensed them.
The Basilisk had a classification as an XXXXX-class creature, meaning it was a known wizard-killer that couldn't be domesticated due to its immense powers. However, since the Basilisk was still a serpent, a Parselmouth might communicate with it and potentially place the creature under their influence.
This obedience depended on the relationship between the Basilisk and the Parselmouth. Tom Riddle will be the only one who can command Salazar Slytherin's Basilisk, while Harry Potter has no control over her, as he had been warned.
.
The Basilisk could grow up to fifty feet in length and was a dark green or a colour with a lighter green underbelly. They also possessed rows of incredibly sharp venomous fangs and large yellow eyes. These eyes had the power to instantly kill anyone who looked into them.
Basilisk skin was armoured like that of a dragon's, which deflected spells cast upon it. For example, Stunning Spells do not affect the deadly beast. The Basilisk shed its skin at intervals, like all other snakes when it grew. Apart from the instant death, the Basilisk's gaze gave and the petrifaction, indirect eye contact brought, Basilisks also had very deadly poison. Basilisk venom was an extremely poisonous substance that only had one known antidote: phoenix tears.
Basilisk venom was so powerful in fact, that it could kill a person within minutes, making the person drowsy and blurry-visioned before they died. It had a very long-lasting effect which remained potent even up to five years or more after the snake had died. It could also damage inanimate objects so thoroughly that they were impossible to restore, and thus it was one of the few substances powerful enough to destroy a Horcrux.
.
So what happens when a Basilisk hisses angrily and jumps towards me and bites my arm? Well, two things happen. Firstly I get rather angry. I already said that I don't like snakes and this snake, while useful, is still a snake. Secondly... I don't die. I am immortal, there is nothing that can kill me and also not a big worm.
"Is this how you greet someone that comes into your home ... Mr. Herpo?", I ask while the Basilisk is still grinding its teeth on my bone. I don't show that I am in pain at all. This little vermin dared to attack me. This means death, something he is interested in anyway.
"So you can still speak? Impressive. I thank you for providing my Basilisk with some food. Kekekekeke."
"Oh? Is that so? We'll see.", I say and use a spell I created back in South America when I wanted to hide myself.
'Vacuum Bulla'
A layer of vacuum is created on my skin and the Basilisk suddenly screams as its teeth and some of its mouth are disintegrated due to the vacuum.
*SCREEE*
The Basilisk is thrashing around in pain and doing quite a lot of damage to the hideout of Herpo. Yes, this is the Herpo the Foul that created the Horcrux's. He is surprised about this and doesn't know what happened. He pulls out his wand and points it at me. Then he fires many curses and jinxes at me.
'Colligenis Omnia'
I hold out my hand with my palm facing the air. A spinning white ball appears in my hand and all of the dark curses that Herpo has cast towards me, change their direction and get sucked into the spinning white ball, without hurting me.
He stops to look at me. His eyes are widened and I can read the surprise on his face. I close my hand and then open it again. A powerful purple stream of magic energy shoots out of my hand and hits Herpo's body.
'Motus Lucendi'

"UAAAAAAHHHHH", Herpo screamed in pain. I replicated the Force Lighting from Star Wars and created a flash of lightning made out of magical energy that can both kill or simply hurt. I chose the second option this time. There are still things I want from Herpo. He has researched a lot about magic and his knowledge would be helpful for my own growing knowledge and spell pool.
As the magic energy of his own attacks runs out, so does the lighting. He is lying on the ground in pain as his Basilisk tries to console him for some reason. Then the Basilisk looks at me in the eyes. We lock eyes and contrary to its expectation, I don't die. On the contrary, I invade the beast's mind and go ham in there. I look at as many things as I can to find out how Herpo raised the beast.
Why do I need to know this?
Because a daring thought has entered my mind. A scary and dangerous thought, that will change the world in the future and especially the world's power structure.
When I come out of the beast's mind, it attacks me fiercely. But it is now useless for me.
'Bombarda Maxima'
A large, violent explosion, capable of demolishing entire houses, is heard as my spell impacts the Basilisk.
*BOOOM*
The Basilisk's hide was armoured like that of a dragon's, which deflected spells cast upon it. But the force of the explosion, caused by my more powerful Bombarda Maxima, still caused the beast to be shot backwards and cause the building to shake.
A moment later, the powerful magic beast and wizard killer, was rising from the rubble again. I could tell that this had done damage, but it was a truly powerful creature and could endure much more than just this. Which is good, I need a good punching bag.
"You can't kill a Basilik with spells. Its skin is like that of a Dragon, impenetrable to magic attacks. Give up!"
"Impenetrable to magic, you say? And who decided that?!", I ask and point my finger to the sky. I am currently quite prideful. This vermin dares to put a toothed worm above me and thinks I will just accept this? ... Nay, not with me.
Massive amounts of magic and heat begin to gather at the top of my finger. More and more energy is pumped into this and a picture forms in my mind. I see a brilliantly shining ball of fire and heat that destroys all the things that I want in front of me. The heat keeps rising and the wand I was using catches fire and turns to ash.
A sphere of nuclear fusion and power forms. The heat causes the surrounding wood to burst into flames and even the stone begins to melt.
"Cruel Sun!"
I point at the Basilisk and the miniature sun shoots towards the snake. It makes scared sounds. Feeling the danger approaching, it tries to flee, but it has no chance.
*BOOOOOM*
'Protego Impervius'
A powerful shield forms around me and Herpo as the explosion rips everything to shreds in the surroundings. Massive heat and radiation spread as the explosion takes place and everything is on fire. The Basilisk has died, of course, leaving only Herpo and me still alive.
"You ... you killed it!! What are you?!!", Herpo says and tries to get away from me. I look at him and see the fear in his eyes. Good.
"Don't run away yet, I have use of you.", I say in a low voice and walk towards him. He still tries to get away but the flames stop him from retreating further. I kneel to his height, grab his head with my hand and look into his mind. I use Leglimency to peer into his thoughts and his memories. There I see some pathetic attempts to stop me. I tear through his Occlumency in a flash and go over all of his knowledge. I learned many things and quite a few new ideas on how I might help Nuna live longer or maybe even forever. But that isn't something I hope for her. But we'll see.
After that, I leave his mind and then walk away, without looking back. I don't care about the idiot and leave him brain-dead. I wasn't gentle with my Leglimency and the strain caused him to have a stroke mid-way. I left him like that and continued with my travels.
.
I travelled north until I reached Romania. I knew of a few magical creatures which were located here. Among others, the Romanian Longhorn. The Romanian Longhorn was a dragon native to Romania. Its habitat was the Carpathian mountains. The dragon was dark green in colour.
The Romanian Longhorn had dark green scales, and two long, glittering golden horns. The Longhorn preferred to gore its prey with its horns before roasting it. The horns of the Longhorn, when powdered, were highly prized as a potion ingredient.
The Longhorn was seen as being very bulky and large. Despite being a fairly medium-sized species of dragon they appeared to have larger muscles. It was also the only dragon that had horns that go straight out like a bull. These long horns and the small one just above its nose somewhat resembled the triceratops, a dinosaur known and named for its three horns.
[Picture]
I found some of them as they weren't hunted to near extinction yet. Their horns were coveted in modern times which caused their numbers to plummet. They weren't that angry or aggressive interestingly. It didn't take as long to 'convince' the Longhorn as it did other Dragons, I had added to my home. The Romanian Longhorn was rather lazy and using food, I was able to bribe him into coming to my home rather easily.
.
From Romania, I went to Hungary. The Hungarian Horntail was a species of dragon which was native to Hungary and was considered to be one of the most dangerous dragon breeds, if not the most dangerous. It possessed black scales, a spiked tail, and was lizard-like in appearance.

It had black scales and was lizard-like in appearance. It also had yellow eyes, with vertical pupils like a cat's, bronze horns and similarly coloured spikes that protruded from its long tail which it would gladly deploy in combat. The dragon's roar was a yowling, screeching scream, and its flame could reach about fifty feet. While having a very far-reaching flame, the Horntail's breath could reach extremely high temperatures, as it made a stone turn red hot in seconds. Its eggs were cement-coloured and particularly hard-shelled. The Horntail's foods of choice included cattle, sheep, goats, and whenever possible, humans.
Horntails were also known for being one of the most vicious and aggressive breeds of dragons, and that was saying something since all dragons were known to be ferocious. This was made apparent when I met one of them in Hungary.
This breed was especially aggressive when protecting their young. Young ones were noted to be quicker and more vicious, making them even more dangerous. Along with their viciousness, tail spikes, and fiery breath, the Horntails were shown to be extremely fast in flight.
.
I approached the Horntail that day and it was similar to the time when I met the Swedish Short-Snout, with one distinct difference. The Hungarian Horntail immediately attacked me when it saw me approaching. The mother was very aggressive and ...
