It was after I had killed Undead Mine that I finally had time to relax in a long while.
After I entered the Crypt I realized that the dungeon existed in a different dimension and had a time dilation effect, one year in the dungeon was equal to one day in the real world.
A very effective training ground if not for one glaring problem.
There were no rest areas in the dungeon except the boss fight locations. The dungeon itself consisted of 6 layers where each layer was a separate plane of existence altogether and the only way to get out of the location was through a teleportation circle that would appear after the area boss was defeated. Undead Mine was the boss of the first plane and after she was defeated, the floor stopped spawning hoards of undead that I had fought for days before defeating her, meaning that the floor was now a safe zone.
I did not waste my time during my rest though, I started to browse through all the skills and abilities available in the Shop section of the system. The skills and powers were divided in the same way that the items were divided but with the little amount of gold I had, I could only afford low-level skills of the 'Uncommon' tier

Just looking at the cost of these low-level skills caused me to cry tears of blood but I had no choice but to get new skills unless I wanted to die badly, during the previous fight I came to understand some of my flaws, mainly my lack of long-ranged attack skills, if not for my abysmal luck taking pity on me I would have ended up dead, or worse, turned into an undead myself.
But even then, most of these skills were not long-ranged ones and those that were so weak that I was better off without them.
In the end, I did not even have money for the low tier skills and gave up on buying any more skills until I kill another Boss or two to accumulate my wealth. but I could not help but salivate as I stared at the skills and abilities listed in the Legendary section of the shop.

Just looking at all those powers up for the taking made my blood boil but the price tag instantly poured cold water on my head, It would take ages for me to accumulate enough gold to buy anything from the Legendary Section and the less we talk about the Mythic section the better, after all, I only got 5000 Gold after I defeated a floor boss and that was when I put my life on the line, suffice to say that those sections are way too ahead of me.
I could only dry my tears and by two of the few abilities that were within my budget from the 'Common Tier'.

And just like that, I already depleted all of my Gold, but that complementary skill was quite a shock from this toxic system, or rather, It was trying to push me in a certain direction that I am all too familiar with.
Let me tell you this System, no matter what you do there is no way I am going down the same path as EMIYA and there is no way I will be going around being a 'Hero' of all things, even if you try to bribe me-

1. Time skips the entire Dungeon Arc.
2. Continue the arc as it is.
