After those words came out from Victor's mouth, Janet was speechless to the point that she forgot to blink her eyes.

But she quickly gave up struggling and let out howls of cry. Spraining ankle was indeed a worst thing. The pain increase as the time went by. Victor dropped the crying lady on his huge bed. A tight frown appeared on his handsome face as he was damn worried for her. It was her first day at his home yet she faced a misfortune as soon as she got into the house.
Victor apologized with a hopeless tone,
" I..I am sorry, Janet! I wasn't careful enough..You have been hurt because of me. Let me take care of you, okay?"
Janet was startled after listening to the promise that he just made. Maybe, he indicated something simple but the meaning behind those words felt too romantic in her ears. She couldn't even under why was he being so anxious when it was entirely her fault.
