Night had fallen at Hogwarts castle, all the students had returned to their common rooms where the main topic of conversation was the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor's classes and his fiasco, other students were in their dormitories as is the case of William.
"Well, I guess it's time to see how everything is inside" William did not go to bed, he used the pillows on his bed to pretend his body was sleeping, while he himself opened the wooden box delivered by the headmistress of Castelobruxo before returning to Hogwarts.
Each student has a trunk beneath their beds where their belongings are parked, each of these trunks is enchanted with an undetectable extension. William on the other hand also possesses Castelobruxo's wooden box which contains a space so large that it allows Pruna the griffin to fly at total freedom.
Entering the wooden box was not much of a problem, it was simply necessary to recite the incantation that works as a password so that the box extends in such a way that the host can enter inside as if he were going down the steps of a staircase, then when the host is inside, the box returns to its original dimensions.
The box has really powerful protective spells, many enchantments in the box are native to South America and are not known in Europe, even Gringotts curse breakers would have a hard time forcing the box open.
"Alright, I'm here now" William shook out his clothes and put his hands on his hips to admire his surroundings, "I still have a lot of work ahead of me if I ever want to create a habitat for all the magical creatures I plan to study in the future."
William's view reached far but still, it seemed like the space never ended, then Pruna came down and stood in front of William.
"You... you just come for food" William said, he had to take meat out of a bucket he had prepared beforehand, then he threw it into the air where pruna flapped to catch it.
After finishing feeding Pruna it was time to go see the forest hydra he had captured earlier, the wounds produced in the jungle battle still prevailed, but luckily, they were not serious, it was enough to keep it well-fed so that the natural healing properties of the hydra would do the job.
William used magic to reorganize structures and change the surroundings according to the creatures that would be in the box, among them the scarbato named Thomas, a gift from his friends in Castelobruxo.
"This should be enough for you to live comfortably in the box, Thomas" William lifted the Scarbate off the floor "I don't think Professor McGonagall will sit still if you steal the belongings of the students or worse, Snape himself. While you are with me, you must learn to stay inside the box, I will bring shiny things periodically though... I might add some enchantments in the future so that you must search for all the shiny objects on your own every day, so you would keep yourself busy, I think it's a good idea, but I lack knowledge still."
Thomas' home was basically a nest about three feet high, in the middle of a large log, a tree that William brought into the box using magic. The nest has straw for cushioning, although it has golden coins all over it and muggle jewelry, basically a piggy bank.
Pruna also has a nest on artificial rocks and has a large perch to rest after flying through the sky.
On the other hand, the Hydra has a cave, inside is the nest made of straw, it can be said that it is the most peaceful creature that William has at the moment. I used to fear it would be a danger to Pruna or Thomas, but I couldn't have been more wrong. The Hydra only shows up when it's really necessary and doesn't bother when William is around.
It took many hours to finish everything to create the ideal environment for magical creatures, he still has no plans to expand his creature study. The forest hydra is a special creature that requires a lot of study time, as it is practically unknown to many magizoologists in the world.
When he finished his work he decided to get out of the wooden box, he only had to make a few movements with his wand so that the box would unlock and allow him to get out, it was a protective measure added by the director of Castelobruxo to prevent the creatures that William would take care of in the future from escaping, perfect for Thomas.
It was very late, all the students in the dormitory were sleeping, William dropped into bed quickly, he had to get some sleep, he didn't want to fall behind in his studies as well, his plan for next summer was already underway and the victim for everything was slowly cooking, just imagining the moment when that bright smile would disappear was all William needed to stay happy.
The next morning William's biological clock did its job, even though he was the last to go to sleep he was still the first to wake up for class.
He stretched his body, picked up several items of clothing from his trunk and headed to the bathroom, he needed a shower to start the day, then as he walked down the stairs to get to the common room he found himself face to face with Hermione who seemed to have similar plans.
"Good morning" William greeted, but then she turned and walked back the way she appeared, leaving the white-haired man standing in the middle of the common room.
