Chapter 4:LEVEL UP!

After Haruki returned home, his mother Aria made his favorite dish to cheer him up. After finishing dinner, Haruki went to bed. The next morning, he headed to the forest to train and checked his stats.

After an hour passed, Haruki completed his level up quest. He thought, "Last time, it took me half a day to kill 20 slimes, but now it only took one hour. I guess this is what they call experience. Let me check my stats."

He thought, "Wait, how am I this strong? And why do these slimes seem slower? No, I'm too fast. It's thanks to my increased strength and agility."

After some time, Haruki noticed it was already evening. He rushed home, covered in mud. Seeing him tired, Aria scolded him, but Haruki's father proposed a mock battle for the next day.

After finishing dinner haruki laid in bed contemplating his newfound strength at level 6, with 15 status points he thinks in his mind "if I need to defeat my father I need strength to counter him and agility to keep up" and then he decided to allocate 7 to strength,3 to agility and 5 to sence.

The following morning, Haruki faced Ryota, the former general knight of the royal guards, in a mock battle. Despite Ryota's prowess, Haruki showcased his improved speed and strength. In a surprising turn, he even utilized a basic martial arts technique, shocking Ryota and Aria.

After the match, Ryota commended Haruki's progress but reminded him that there was still room for improvement. Aria was astonished by Haruki's sudden mastery of magic, but Haruki kept the truth about his newfound skill to himself.

Reflecting on his growth, Haruki realized he needed to become even stronger to defeat formidable opponents like Ryota.
