The trio flew until they arrived over the part of the sea that was formerly eastern china. Daisuke turned toward Tian and said "Can you explain your abilities?"
Tian said "Of course. I am the 3rd son of Liliang Yu, the first dragon. I use Yin – Yang Magic or Balance Magic as you might wish to call it. As a Celestial Dragon I was born with this magic, hence it is unique to me. There can be other Balance Magic but mine will always be different.
"My spells allow me to nullify any attack or defense or enhancement. I can create doppelgangers of any creature or perfect opponents to anyone the more I know about them. Of course it costs a lot to do that.
"I can throw any system out of balance hence I can make spells and martial arts malfunction. The greatest powers of my spells come from my ability to permanently balance or imbalance anything. In order words I can enhance or damage a person permanently. This ability though requires strict conditions that are not easy to fulfill.
"For this competition I will act as a trap. Since you guys will be protecting me while I perform my job being a pain in the ass, some if not all the people we fight will try to get through you to me. The problem is that as a great Celestial Dragon my scales are tough… and also I can make a person suffer the same amount of attack force they use on me. So when our opponents successfully attack they will end up injured allowing me to take one of them down with me".
Daisuke said "Thank you Tian. Since you've seen mine and Mira's ability there's no need to explain. Mira, you are suited to be the Tank. Your diamond energy is tough to break through and the explosiveness will allow you push opponents away. I will be the Attacker since that's what I'm suited for with my light and all. Tian, you will be the support and emergency Defender; you just have to nullify any attack that you feel Mira cannot block or that I can't dodge. Are you all ok with that?"
Mira and Tian nodded. Daisuke said "Then it's up to just getting used to each other's fighting styles. We'll fight one on one while the remaining person watches. I and Tian will start".

Like that the three of them trained for the remainder of the week before the individual tournament. The whole world seemed to have heard of the tournament so people came from all over. The number of new participants increased as the day for the competition drew near.
The turn up was so high for the competition that the individual tournaments got increased from 4 brackets to 8 brackets with the 8 winners fighting it out in the final bracket. The amount of prizes increased as well since Chao Feng got more sponsors or the ones he already had increased their investments.
The sponsors got insider information on those that were participating and they got the chance to talk to any of them privately to invite them to work for them. These sponsors gave items or knowledge to get the chance to advertise themselves during the competition and when it was over.
Some other groups of sponsors only invested so that they could get information on the people that would face their friends or subordinates in the competition. After investing they got the right to trade Wangin's currency, Yuans, for information any contestant. They would use the information to help the people they sponsored win the competition. These sponsors were more interested in the prizes that were in the competition not the participants.
Everyone was allowed to make bets on the competition with Yuans. Mostly those who lived in the city took it seriously. Those that came from other places didn't value the currency much since it couldn't buy the bigger prizes.
The new prize list for the Individual Tournament was:
For each Bracket:
Tier 1 Drug: Enlight Wine (5 Liters) – Semi Finals
Tier 2 Drug: Drive Trigger – Finals
Tier 2 Drug: Spirit Trigger – Winner
Final Bracket:
Tier 2 Drug: Pure Element Bless – Semi Finals
Tier 3 Drug: Attribute Bless – Finals
Tier 3 Drug: Soul Trigger – Winner
They would be given after the final fight of each bracket.
Chao Feng and the Celestial Dragon Yu, taught the contestants that came the things they were lacking during the week. Complaints came because he had taught those that he felt had a good chance of winning earlier that the others so he had to postpone the competition by a week to give those that learnt from him time to get used to what he taught them while the competition for the Ancient grades happened.
Hence another week passed before the Individual Tournament began.
…
Mira looked at the listing for her bracket. She had to beat 4 opponents to be the winner of her bracket. The first person she was to fight was a person called Denver.
When it was almost Mira's turn she teleported herself with the space ring to the entrance of the stadium that had been build for the fight. Walking in she noticed that the space inside had been warped since the place was way bigger on the inside that it looked on the outside.
She was escorted by a man toward the waiting room for the contestants. The man briefed her on the competitions rules as they walked. The contestants weren't allowed to use their job privileges during or before the fights. The contestants could go all out with attacks since Chao Feng would protect them from dying if they came close. The contestants weren't allowed to fight each other outside of the competition grounds until the competition was over.
The sight of creatures of various sizes and shapes greeted her with the humanoid shape being the most prevalent. No one knew what their opponent was capable of until they got into the arena. They weren't allowed to use their job privileges to scout the abilities of other people.
Mira heard the host call her name and she floated upward through the hole that opened above her that led above ground. Denver, her opponent flew through the hole too and arrived in front of the cheering crowd.
Mira could feel Feng's energy covering the walls that surrounded the battle area above which the spectator seats were placed. A dome of force also covered the top of the cylindrical containment.
The host didn't have much to say since she didn't know either Mira or Denver so she shouted "Start" after they took their battle stances.
It's been a while, sorry for the unannounced hiatus.
I had some creators block and I needed a break.
