Demon Hunter: In a Chat Group

The sunlight filtered through the windows of a small shop in the city center. Dante, a young man with white skin and white hair, stepped out of the shower, wearing only long cinnamon-colored jeans, boots, and a red pendant that shone around his neck. Although he was not the original Dante but someone who had reincarnated as him, his personality remained quite faithful to the character. However, his memories were confused and fragmented, something that would not change until the plot of Devil May Cry 3 truly began.

As he walked towards his office, he received a message that read: "You have been invited to the different worlds chat group." He wondered what kind of characters he might find there, and after a moment's hesitation, he decided to accept the invitation, intrigued by the idea of joining a conversation with characters he might know. The first thing he saw was:

[Guitar Hero: "Demon Hunter, welcome! I'm Hitori Gotou, but you can call me Bocchi. It's great to meet you! I hope we can get along."]

[Demon Hunter: "Hello everyone! As for being a priest or someone from the church, that has nothing to do with this. Regarding my nickname, I'm sort of a bounty hunter. If you have the money and the job is interesting, I'll take it. What's interesting about this group?"]

[Guitar Hero: "This chat group is for chatting, and you can earn points by logging in or completing tasks that get posted. These points can be used to get things like weapons or abilities from the worlds in the chat group. We can also give gifts like weapons or money. As for abilities, it seems not, and if you want, you can share photos or stream live."]

Dante observed the chat screen with a slight smile. Interesting, they should be the female protagonists from anime. The Crimson-Haired Princess must be Rias Gremory, and Cat Guru... Maybe it's Yukino Yukinoshita. And Guitar Hero has already introduced himself. Well, let's make it fun; they will surely be surprised by what is about to happen.

In the image, Dante is seen walking towards his office while looking at the stream, focusing on his face.

As Dante made his way to his office, the phone on his desk rang insistently, along with a pizza. He kicked the chair, which spun through the air before landing messily. He sat down, put his feet on the table, and struck the desk, making the phone float in the air until it reached his hand.

"Sorry, I haven't opened the business yet," Dante says, with a teasing smile. "Wow… you haven't even given me time to think of a name for this place, and I'm already getting calls from customers," he adds, sarcastically.

The door opens, and a tall, slender man enters, emanating an aura of mystery.

"Another customer?" Dante asks, sarcastically.

"Well, if what you want is to use the bathroom, don't hold back; it's back there," he says, pointing towards the back of the office.

The mysterious man speaks with an intriguing air. "Are you the one they call Dante…?"

"The son of Sparda?" the man asks, his gaze fixed and challenging.

[Cat Guru: "He seems to be a disorganized young man or a delinquent."]

[Crimson-Haired Princess: "He seems to have money problems judging by how the place looks."]

[Guitar Hero: "He has an interesting style! I think it's really cool."]

[Crimson-Haired Princess: "It seems he hasn't made any money with the shop yet, though he also looks like he doesn't want to work."]

[Cat Guru: "It doesn't look like he wants to attend to customers at the moment."]

[Guitar Hero: "It seems he knows Dante; maybe he's a relative."]

Dante, after noticing that the man is no longer there, gets off the desk and puts the gun on his waist. "So, an invitation…" he says while extending his hand. At that moment, the pizza box slides toward him, and he grabs a slice with his other hand. Just as he is about to take a bite, a loud crash interrupts the moment.

The space shatters with the sound of breaking glass, and hooded demons with scythes in their hands appear, piercing Dante's body.

[Guitar Hero: "Ahhhh! I think they killed Dante!"]

[Cat Guru: "Was that speed, or why did they suddenly appear?"]

[Crimson-Haired Princess: "Hmm, those creatures appeared out of nowhere, as if they teleport or something."]

Dante is seen moving a little until...
