Chapter 3: "The Ice Guardian"

[Crimson-Haired Princess: "How interesting, to add items to the store you have to see them in the live stream. No wonder there was hardly anything useful."]

[Cat Guru: "They are there, but they are very expensive. The store might be wrong. There's also a somewhat detailed description of what they are."]

[Guitar Hero: "Not even saving, I think my whole life could get something."]

[Crimson-Haired Princess: "Certainly."]

[Cat Guru: "Ebony, a black pistol for left-handed shooters, modified for long-distance shooting and comfort; Ivory, a white pistol for right-handed shooters, built for quick draw, very durable, and able to accumulate energy easily. Also, on its design, it says: 'For Tony Redgrave. By .45 Art Works.'"]

[Crimson-Haired Princess: "They seem like good guns, but they are mostly normal; they just shoot really well and can store energy. Maybe they are better than they look."]

[Guitar Hero: "It's the cheapest thing there is, but I don't know how to use guns, even if they look really good."]

[Cat Guru: "Rebellion Sword, a long double-edged sword, with two skulls: one human-shaped and another demonic on the hilt, with closed eyes. A sword created from the demon Sparda, given to one of his twin sons, waiting to awaken."]

[Guitar Hero: "Very expensive, and I also don't know how to use a sword."]

[Crimson-Haired Princess: "It seems it's still incomplete. It has symbolism related to humans and demons, besides being a legacy."]

[Cat Guru: "Hybrid lineage of Sparda (not awakened), the blood of the union of the Legendary Dark Knight and his wife Eva. It has not yet awakened its demonic qualities."]

[Crimson-Haired Princess: "It seems to be for obtaining the hybrid lineage of Sparda, to be half human and half demon, although it must be someone strong and skilled with the sword."]

[Guitar Hero: "Would this be like transforming your body to gain powers? Though it's still even more expensive."]

[Cat Guru: "It seems most things are related to Sparda's lineage, except for the guns, which seem to be from someone else."]

[Hunter of Demons: "The guns are also mine; it's just a long story."]

Then, we see Dante leaving a club called 'Love Planet'. He starts walking towards the entrance of the Temen-ni-gru tower, but stops near a statue resembling a woman with a lion's head, holding an hourglass.

Dante observes it for a moment and reflects: Certainly, this becomes unnecessary as I already have all the abilities upgraded. It takes the fun out of being like in the game, but it's more useful this way. After all, I don't have to focus too much on collecting demon blood. But since we're here, and apparently showing things adds them to the chat group's inventory, let's give them these things they could use. Surely they aren't that expensive.

[Hunter of Demons: "I bought these things; they should be useful for most of you. As for the demon power-related stuff, I'm not sure if it will also affect non-demonic magic, but trying shouldn't cause problems."]

[Cat Guru: "These things seem useful, and they aren't that expensive either."]

[Guitar Hero: "Certainly, although it seems that in the lottery things are also added with a probability based on their value. Maybe it's better to throw in there until something good comes out."]

[Crimson-Haired Princess: "These things are indeed quite useful. Being able to heal and recover magic with the two stars will help in emergencies. Then, we even have one that increases vitality and another that boosts magical power. Finally, one that can revive a person... certainly useful."]

Dante enters the Temen-ni-gru tower, where he finds a frozen chamber. In the center, he sees a huge three-headed dog chained and frozen. As Dante approaches, the dog begins to free itself from the ice.

With a burst, the ice shatters and fragments fly towards Dante. Quickly, Dante cuts the ice shards with his sword.

The dog, now free, lets out a deafening roar and glares at him defiantly. "Step back, mortal," it says in a deep voice. "Access to this place is forbidden for your kind." Then, bringing one of its heads close to Dante, it roars: "You, who are powerless, are not worthy to set foot here."

Dante starts walking around the dog, with a mocking smile. "Wow! I've never seen a talking poodle," he says casually, pointing at the dog. "Surely if you showed up at a dog show, you'd win first place."

The dog looks at him furiously. "A mere human dares to insult me." It opens one of its mouths and blasts a stream of ice towards Dante.

Dante dodges the attack with an agile leap, landing on the ground while observing the dog. "Calm down, Fido," he says provocatively. "It seems like you haven't been walked in a long time." Then he leans slightly forward, gesturing to provoke the dog. "Come on, puppy. Want to play for a while?"

The dog roars again, filled with rage. "You will regret it, scum!"

Dante, without losing his carefree attitude, strikes several exaggerated poses, mocking the dog. "Come closer, and I'll teach you..." he pauses dramatically before adding, with a smile: "...to be a good little puppy."

The fight between Dante and the dog begins, accompanied by energetic music ('Had Enough').

[Cat Guru: "It seems they've started to fight."]

[Guitar Hero: "And again, there's music. For entertainment, it's pretty good."]

[Crimson-Haired Princess: "True, it's more fun this way, but it also limits us to see how the fight would really look."]

[Cat Guru: "The dog should be a Cerberus, right? Though I don't understand why it has ice powers."]

[Guitar Hero: "Well, it seems Dante is also playing with him. It shouldn't take long."]

[Crimson-Haired Princess: "Only one head left. It seems Dante is too good at fighting."]

[Cat Guru: "Yes, it seems he can't stop mocking it while fighting, making those hand gestures."]

[Guitar Hero: "He says something every time he does it. Maybe it's some ability."]

After the fight, Cerberus is pushed back and questions Dante while looking at him: "You're not human, are you?" Dante looks at him and, in a carefree tone, replies: "Who knows? I'm not even sure myself." While saying this, he opens his arms and points at himself.

Cerberus, knowing he has lost, looks at Dante and says: "Anyway, you've proven your strength." He approaches and adds: "I acknowledge your skill." Then, he tells him: "Take my soul and move on." Before beginning to disappear, Cerberus adds: "You have my blessing."

Next, we see how, where Cerberus was, a light begins to fall. Dante raises his hand and grabs it, transforming it into a triple nunchaku, which is connected by chains to a ring.

After observing them, Dante proceeds to try them out, letting the nunchakus slide through his hands fluidly. With each spin, the air fills with an intense cold, as if the ice itself was responding to his challenge. In the end, Dante is seen posing with the three nunchakus in view while saying: "Too easy!"
