Looking right down, it was like looking down into the pits of hell, but they weren't able to see a thing.

It was just pitch black down there without a single light. It was so dark that it almost seemed like it would swallow any light that entered it.

Mo Ze Chen had been trying to figure out how deep these stairs went and also what might be at the bottom, but he had had no luck at all.

In the end, he chose to pull out a glow stick that he lit up before throwing it right down into the darkness of the stairs. However, the moment the glow stick was thrown down, the light that should have come from it seemed like it was being sucked away by something that was around it.

It didn't take long before that strange suction force had sucked all the light of the glow stick away.
