Toni~

~Previously~

Betty comes back home late at night. Perhaps, she visited Jughead to give him some of his favourite pop Tate's burger. She has spent the rest of the time with Charles trying to make connections of the murder with stonies. Betty was so focused on connecting it with the stonies, she might have missed some fine evidence in the crime scene.

Betty slowly advances towards her room. The first thing she sees is Toni in her bed. She decides not to disturb her, she tucks Toni into bed and takes a pillow ready to go and sleep on the couch. But Toni woke up murmuring Cheryl's name. She holds Betty and asks " she is just playing a role in your mission, right? please tell me she is. Tell me that Cheryl is not dead just like Jughead...". Betty wondered how Toni knew about Jughead, but she saw that Toni's eyes were filled with water. Betty hugs her and Toni sobs in silence.

Toni falls asleep still sobbing. Betty sleeps on the couch, when the sun already started to rise. Until Betty wakes up Toni already left to go to the Thistle house. Alice notices that Betty woke up and says " Toni decided she doesn't want to skip school anymore...."

Toni makes a quick stop at pop's for breakfast before going to Thistle house. It is true what they say, old habits can't be changed quickly... Toni picked up cherry soda and a burger. she goes to Thistle house and realises that Cheryl was not there anymore to finish the cherry soda. She starts screaming and ends up eating the whole cherry pie. she gets up to take a shower but....

" What the hell..." Toni just saw a shady figure move. It can be a thief trying to steal evidence. Toni always carries a pocket knife, she reaches to take it and moves towards where the shady figure went. She was about to stab, but what? Cheryl....

Was Cheryl in on some secret mission with Jughead and couldn't keep it from the only family she was left with? No it can't be, she clarified it with Betty... So, was Cheryl really alive or was Toni having an episode. Not sure what was happening around her Toni just hugged Cheryl and she felt..... real... Cheryl said " that's bad tee-tee you finished my cherry soda"

Toni notices the wall clock, it was almost the time to go to school. No, she was not worried about Mr. Honey the principal. But she wanted to meet Betty. She wraps Cheryl with a blanket and leaves to take a shower.

She quickly dresses up to go to school the first time after Cheryl being "dead". she was unsure of her own patience. What if she wouldn't be able to bear all the sympathy knowing that Cheryl may still be alive. she gets a ride from Sweetpea to school.

She enters the school hall and she gets many 'sorry's and messages. But she somehow manages to make way to her locker which was just beside Cheryl's. Seeing Cheryl's locker filled with her photos, messages, prayers, candles and 'R.I.P.s' Toni just couldn't take it anymore.....

Just in time she finds Betty and Veronica. she runs to them. Will she tell them the truth about what she saw that morning or not with the fear of being called traumatised?
