Brother's Journey: A Twilight Fan-Tale

An AU Twilight fan-fiction about the journey of Alice Cullen's biological elder brother and how he finds his little sister after he lost her. This is my first fanfiction so please be gentle. I am not a huge fan of twilight but inspiration struck and I want to work on this. this will be an OC x Rosalie Emmett will be paired with female Edward (i.e. Edythe) who will be Edward's twin sister both of whom are turned by Carlisle when they nearly died of the Spanish Flu. Any comments would be tremendously appreciated. I know some people may be upset with the oc appearance im going with because he isn't going to be turned into a vampire when he is super young like the rest of them.

Birth of a boy

[Biloxi, Mississippi - March 1st 1891]

In a small hospital just outside the town limits of a small city of just over 5,000 people lay a woman currently screaming as though she was dying. This woman was named Lillian Brandon, wife of a local and quite successful jeweler named Edgar John Brandon. Lillian was not an overly beautiful woman but had a gentle southern look to her with her soft brown curls, chubby cheeks, and narrow pointed chin she had a traditional motherly attractiveness. In comparison to the man standing outside the hospital room who had a stern and slight appearance with his slicked-over dark brown hair, defined brow ridge with sharp fur covering his cold eyes, large ears and nose, and a pronounced strong jaw-line he was certainly an attractive man but something about him made people wary.

The reason for the screaming of Lillian and the presence of her husband Edgar was the birth of their first child. They had only married a year prior and now were expecting. The birth process was certainly a difficult one but Lillian felt in her heart that she could endure a thousand births as soon as she heard the higher-pitched screams of her newborn child just as she felt a huge sense of relief from the pain of birthing him.

"Congratulations Mrs. Brandon, a healthy boy!" exclaimed the doctor from beside the bed as he handed off her newborn son to a nurse for cleaning.

The doctor then proceeded to wipe his hands on a towel located nearby. He turned and opened the door to the hallway.

"Mr. Brandon please come inside, your wife has given birth to a healthy boy." the doctor said.

"Truly?" questioned Edgar as the doctor nodded his head "How is my wife?"

"She has not suffered much bleeding, she should recover in a few days and be ready to head home." the doctor stated.

"Wonderful, let me see my son," Edgar said.

"Right this way," the doctor said as the nurse handed the newly cleaned babe to his father.

"He has my eyes," Edgar mused as he gazed upon his son.

"Ed, what are we going to name him?" asked his weary wife from upon the birthing bed as a nurse wiped the sweat from her brow and cheeks.

"Henry," Edgar said softly to not his wife but his newborn son "Henry Francis Brandon."

Thus the boy who would, over a century from now, be known by many names and epithets was born and the lives of many would be forever changed.

I am going to skip around the timeline a bit with liberal usage of flashbacks.
