The dream ll

Mei jingjing woke up with a gasp, Li Jie noticed the panick on her face and hurried over to her.

"Mei jingjing, are you alright?" he asked with concern.

She gazed at him staring into those golden eyes.

"M..... master Li Jie?" she stared worriedly at him as she searched his body.

"A..... a....are you alright?, were you hurt?" she kept asking leaving Li Jie utterly confused, could it be she had a bad dream about him?.

"I'm fine, I'm okay." he assured her, he could see tears swimming in her eyes and it left him baffled, why was she suddenly at the verge of tears?

"Time is ticking Li Jie, we have to find the two seals."

He placed his hand on her cheeks to comfort her. "we're going to get those seals no matter what." he said firmly.

She placed her hand in his feeling relieved it was all just one bad dream. Li Jie couldn't tell her he knew he was destined to meet the lightning, he just wants to get the seal on time before those beast causes any harm to his people.

leader Chang called Li Jie to the dojo, Li Jie showed up and bowed politely at him.

"You asked for me."

"Yes." he got to his feet.

"Time is ticking, the new autumn festival will be arriving soon, so now, I'm going to teach you the most important element."

"Which is?"

"Sight, touch and smell."

Li Jie was lost. "Those are what now?"

"The three elements you need to defeat the beasts"

He hit his stick once on the ground."We begin with sight."

"All ready?"

"Yes."

Li Jie was placed in the centre of the dojo, everything looks normal to him though.

"Why isn't Daiyu a part of this?" he asked.

"Daiyu doesn't need to be a part of this, you need to learn this more than she does."

He looked around the room."Now tell me, what do you see?"

Li Jie's golden sharp eyes studied the room but found nothing suspicious. He glanced at leader Chang.

"I see nothing."

"Are you sure?, when it comes to sight, the best way to pay attention is by not paying attention at all."

An arrow was shut from nowhere but leader Chang caught it before it could strike Li Jie who stared at the arrow in leader Chang's hand looking dumbfounded.

"Were did that come from?"

Leader Chang Chuckled. "We move to the next one."

"Wait, I haven't gotten this right yet."

"We'll take them all and then you start with your training."

He hit his stick twice on the floor. "next element is touch."

"How do I learn that?" he asked.

"It happens anytime, you should be able to describe how a person feels or learn to interact with them, it's not something I can teach, it's something which one should be able to feel so you're on your own."

he hit his stick thrice startling Li Jie, why does he keep doing that unceremoniously.

"Final element, smell."

Three cups of water was placed in front of Li Jie, he circled Li Jie who kept his gaze on the water.

"You often see or hear of dangers but can you smell it?" he gazed at the cups.

"I want you to drink every cup of water."

"All?"

"Yes, right now."

Li Jie gazed at the water, they seem harmless but the old man sure isn't.

Li Jie took the first cup and drank every bit of the water.

He went after the second but when he got to the third, he stopped halfway. leader Chang kept his gaze on him but Li Jie shrugged and wanted to drink it but it was kicked right out of his hand and poured on the floor, Li Jie froze up when he saw little steams evaporating from it.

"You noticed something was wrong and still wanted to take it?" leader Chang said.

Li Jie cleared his throat, the truth was he never actually noticed a thing, he was just thinking about something but decided to shrug it off.

"You are not leaving this place untill you master this elements."

leader Chang stepped out locking the door. Li Jie still sat on the mat.

"He wants me to master all elements tonight?"

Mei jingjing paced around the room with the dream still bothering her head, Chao Xua and Haorang beside her.

"Young master told us to calm her down but how do we do that?" Haorang whispered. Chao Xua smiled.

"I've got an idea."

He handed Mei jingjing a drink. "Drink this, it'll calm you down."

Mei jingjing took it and gulped the whole thing down without caring what the content was.

Haorang dragged Chao Xua to a corner. "What did you give to her?"

"A drink with a tiny bit of liquor so she can fall asleep."

Haorang gave him a knock on the head. "Are you insane?"

Chao Xua eyed him. "At least I came up with something, what did you come up with?"

Li Jie stayed in the dojo practicing the three elements.

He kept failing each one he tried but decided to get serious.

He studied the room for any danger trying to focus his eyes, what he finally realized was that he doesn't need to study the room to sight the danger, it's only when you're not looking danger decides to strike which he did by pretending not to pay attention to the room and his eyes immediately caught a glimpse of an arrow ready to shoot at him, he smirked and the arrow was shot his way immediately.

He caught it with his hands, the best way to sight a thing is by not paying attention but still paying attention, he finally understood that now.

As for the cup, he stared at the three cups before him and took a deep breath. he took the first cup and drank it, did the same with the third one but he paused when he got to the last, nothing has happened to him after drinking from the two cups which means....

He threw the cup away and the water poured , hot steams oozing out of it.

he's mastered the three elements. The door suddenly opened and leader Chang walked in with a smile.

"Young master, you never give up don't you?"

Li Jie smiled. "No I don't, except if it's worth giving up."

leader Chang looked impressed. "All you need to learn is the six bixia style."

Li Jie gazed at him. "I thought that only worked on humans?"

leader Chang stroked his beard. "Of course but I'm going to teach you the one which will help you get rid of the beast."

Li Jie looked amazed by it. "Really leader Chang, you can do that?"

"Want to test it out?"

Li Jie moved away from him. He almost lost his life if it wasn't for the seals power, there's noway he's letting this old man use him for experiment.

Li Jie fled from the room making leader Chang laugh. Most powerful human seal scared of getting experimented on, he really has no idea how powerful he is.

Haorang and Chao Xua had left the room when Li Jie walked in, Mei jingjing was laying peacefully on the bed, Li Jie decided to get a warm bath before going to bed.

He took off his clothes and got into the hot tub and relaxed himself with his eyes closed when suddenly, the door opened making him gasp.

Mei jingjing walked in looking quite confused, Li Jie gazed at her, why on Earth was she here?, wasn't she asleep?

Mei jingjing met his gaze and she smiled. "Master Li Jie, you're here?"

He raised a brow at her, why was she smiling like that?, he could feel something was off with her.

"Don't mind me, I want to just get some water."

"Water?" he didn't realize she had been holding a cup, she walked up to the hot tub and fetched the water, Li Jie's eyes widened as he stared at her.

She was about to drink it but he got to his feet and dragged the cup away from her making her land her head on his chest.

He gasped, Mei jingjing rubbed her face on his chest.

"So you won't let me drink water now?" she raised her head staring at his bare and flawless body, she slowly wrapped her arms around him making him tense up.

"Wow, you have such a nice body, can someone actually be this attractive?" she poked his chest to see if he was actually real, she smiled.

"It's real." she exclaimed and hugged him making him tense up. he swallowed hard, what was she doing?, or is she drunk?

He tried to keep his emotions intact and not loose himself but she hugged him even tighter resting her head on his chest.

He glanced down at her and couldn't stop himself as he slowly kissed her forehead, she tilted her head up to look at him and his gaze landed on her pink lips.

"How come you're so tall?" she made a lovely pout making him chuckle as he felt a sudden warmth inside of him.

The top of her head passed his shoulders a bit, her eyes were slowly closing again like she was drifting back to sleep.

"You're so mean!, I don't wanna be around you, but I find myself being pulled to you." she murmured.

"No matter what, you have to make my bad dream a dream, it mustn't come to pass, you'll have to stay alive okay?" her soft voice weakened him on the inside but he didn't show it. she glanced around.

"Why am I even here?"

Li Jie kept his urges under control, she wasn't in a good state of mind, it'd be best if he took her back to the room.

He stepped out of the hot tub and carried her in his arms as she was fast asleep, he laid her gently on the bed and sat beside her stroking her long hair which she enjoyed as she leaned on his hand like a cute kitten waiting to be stroked even more with an innocent smile on her pretty face.
