Chapter 38: Kiss or Confess

P.O.V Leonard

"Cathia..." I called her name, observing the dark aura around her and the black vein in her neck, thumping with her every heartbeat. 'Did she absorb Richard's power?'

"Yes?" Her voice had so much disgust in it that it wasn't giving me a hint of who she was. She didn't sound like my Cathia.

"Ahhh... Why are you emitting darkness, Cathia?" Caitlin was being dumbfounded, and that surprised me even more.

"Cause I have the power of darkness now." She smirked, her features darkening, "And I am deciding who am I going to kill first."

And I stopped breathing. Darkness wasn't a piece of cake for everyone to handle. Though I thought that Cathia was stronger than that yet, she was the one who said those words.

My blood drained out, making me numb. If that was the truth, the scenarios of the consequences swirling in front of me were not so satisfying. No, they were terrible to even imagine.
