Chapter 37: All Colours or Just Black

P.O.V Leonard

I just saw the bullet reflect, coming back to us. I didn't get the time to proceed where it could go when I felt a blow of wind brush past me with a green glow. It happened so fast. I couldn't even move from my place until I heard a soft thud.

That was when I snapped my head back, watching Darren on top of Evelyn, both were lying on the ground. He slowly moved and sat beside her. Turning his head, he looked at Lionel. I, too, narrowed my eyes at him. Darren didn't look angry or disappointed the way Caitlin and Cathia were looking at Lionel.

I just shook my head, glad that nothing happened.

"Sorry," Lionel whispered it as mush softly as he could, making Darren stand and punch him on his arm.
