Conflicts.

Hi, I saw the chapter of the second season of House Of The Dragon and I identified so much with Rhaenyra, I saw in her the pain that Aleyx felt, which motivated me to write this chapter. I don't know how often I will be able to update again since I have two stories in Patreon to finish, however, enjoyed this chapter as much as I enjoyed writing it.

------------

M'aora, with her eyes closed and concentrated gaze, prostrated herself in front of the magnificent tree of the tribe's souls, bathed in its eternal light and celestial aura, which caused M'aora, who already looked like an emissary of Eywa herself, to look even more glorious in her attire and jewelry.

After Aleyx left for the collectors' base, she and Sukai took on the temporary role of tribal leaders, though most of the time she communicated with him with the help of a device that belonged to the sky people, and though the experience with such artifacts created feelings of distaste for her, deep down she understood how beneficial it was, especially considering the signals Eywa sent.

, although they had been loud and clear before, were now just whispers in the wind, she was trying to 'talk' to Eywa, which was becoming difficult with every whisper and movement the tree of souls let out, something had happened, she felt it, and Eywa's silence confirmed it, and although she wasn't sure what had happened, she knew deep inside that it wasn't anything good.

When she thought she could finally connect with Eywa, she felt a weight on her right shoulder, causing her to lose her connection, at the same time she lifted her head to see Sukai smiling at her, only after several years together, she knows how to read his gaze, and Sukai answered her long before she asked.

"Aleyx arrived a few minutes ago with the warriors that followed him to that human base, he ordered everyone to gather at the tree of souls, they should be here soon," Sukai said to her with a firm and serious countenance.

Lowering her head, M'aora analyzed her partner's words, trying unsuccessfully to understand her son's action, sure, something big had happened, but what was it? Even when Aleyx had mobilized the warriors to attack that base, Eywa had not been silent, being able to know what was going on thanks to her connection between her and Eywa, but now, even the great mother was silent.

She didn't have to wait long though, seeing Aleyx approaching with his Alpha brothers, and by Eywa, M'aora knew her son well enough to know that he was not well, his tired eyes and pale look, along with the melancholy countenance the Alphas brought behind Aleyx, being proof enough to know that things were worse than she thought, was that why Eywa wasn't responding? She wondered.

"Mother," with a slightly broken voice, Aleyx greeted his mother with a tight hug and a small, sweet kiss on her temple, then hugged Sukai, with Sukai kissing him of his own on the crown of his head. A rare thing to happen, as such public displays of affection were not seen, but the occasion warranted it, and she applauded that to Sukai, understanding that he, even in his world, knew how to read Aleyx enough to understand that he needed affection and support.

M'aora, taking Aleyx's face in her hands, gave him a loving look, while also greeting him; "Son, my little one, what has happened to you? This is not my Aleyx."

As if that was enough to trigger Aleyx's feelings, as if a door had opened, Aleyx dropped his serene countenance, and exchanged for an expression of weakness, with tears of anger, rage, and pain streaming down his cheeks, and a clear display of pent-up pain being released, with Aleyx coming clean with his parents.

"I felt it, Mother, their pain, their anguish, their crying as they cried out for forgiveness, for peace, all while their pleas fell into broken containers.... The... The people of heaven destroyed several spirit trees, without mercy, without compassion.... All while I felt their pain, it was horrible, something I am completely against," Aleyx finished saying, as M'aora gently wiped the tears from his face, while avoiding with all her might to let her own tears come out, showing herself strong to her son and being her pillar of support.

M'aora smiled at Aleyx, to then tell him something that would perplex him; "My son, I have always known you were special, even more so when you bonded with a Palulukan without being ready for it, without having your initiation test, your closeness with Eywa, the 'Angtsìk, all these signs of hidden power that are now showing, Eywa has spoken to you... And if in that call is for you to lead our people to free our land from the tyranny of the sky people, I will gladly follow you."

"My spear and my Alpha guard will be your shield, son, regardless of the path you take, do not forget that," Sukai commented, resting his right arm across his chest.

Bowing to Aleyx, with his teeth clenched and a solemn look.

Aleyx blushed, as his chest rose, that was what he needed, the one thing he treasured: the support and firmness of his parents at the moment like this, one that would mark Pandora's fate forever, and though perhaps it was a mirage, it was noticeable how his complexion improved. A small sigh of relief escaped his lips.

After the emotional gathering, the members of the main tribe began to arrive one by one, until more than six thousand members were in front of Aleyx and his parents, who were on an elevated part with the tree of souls behind them.

"I'm back! And while I would love to celebrate for that, sadly I cannot do so, because today, I stand before you demanding your spears, your bows and arrows..." Aleyx began to say, gaining the attention of all present... "Your rifles and grenades" looking at the warriors who had trained for months in the use of human weapons, who held their rifles tightly as they hardened their gazes. Knowing something big was coming.

"The people of heaven think they can do as they please, and that they have the right to plant themselves on our land, destroy our way of life, and take whatever they please! But let me tell you, enough is enough, enough of tolerating so much pain, so much sadness, because today, in front of you, I make you the promise, that I will not rest until I see how that person from heaven, the one who threatens our land, is dead or expelled from Pandora, that I promise you." Aleyx spoke, his knuckles pale as he gripped his spear tightly.

At this point, everyone was chanting full of enthusiasm, as they raised their bows and supported what Aleyx said, not only because he was their Olo'eyktan, but because they were tired of seeing how the sky people destroyed, burned and plundered everything in their path, without a stop or a halt. Seeing how their fellow hunters did not return from their initiations because they had encountered humans, how these humans destroyed the balance with their machines, their indiscriminate killing, and their rape of the jungle itself.

Therefore, Aleyx's words where he promised a stop to human tyranny filled them with that burning desire to take up their weapons and go to battle. "So I call upon you! Call the other clans, tell them that your Olo'eyktan is calling you, that the time of the sky people harming our land is about to end, and that this... Is our land!"

"Our land!"

"Our land!"

"Our land!"

They all shouted in sync, full of clamor to drive out once and for all those who for years had been hurting them, and having the possibility so close to driving them out filled them with a fiery frenzy of strength and emboldened spirit that only the Na'vi possessed. Immediately, they all rushed off in search of their mounts, be it their Ikran, Pa'Li, or Palulukan, heading to fulfill the words of their Olo'eyktan, not wanting to waste time in seeing the sky people eradicated.

For his part, Aleyx, with his two hands being held by his parents, watched as the Ikran took flight, taking to the sky to convey his words, remembering for a moment his first Ikran, thinking it was enough time to mourn, he needed a new Ikran..... This time, a bigger one.
