"Welcome back, Master," Morlock greeted, standing in the Master's private hangar at the international airport. He watched as the Master descended the steps of his plane.
The Master's silence was Morlock's first hint that things had not gone as planned.
Morlock didn't know what happened in Izhvahan, but when the Master came back angry, he had to wonder if Hume was alright, or even still alive. Things always changed when the Master got angry.
"The car," Master said, and Morlock gestured towards the door.
Waiting in the car was the Deputy Minister of Foreign Relations.
As Morlock took the wheel, he tuned out the Deputy Minister's effusive greeting, starting the car and taking the private road that would bring them to the city proper.
"The first ship of refugees is due to arrive next week. Minister Clark was wondering how we should respond, given the Aviye Exclusion Act specifically..."
