4: the formation of planets

Takeshi and Bas were astonished by what they saw: a gigantic planet that was chained to smaller ones.

Takeshi: Am I dreaming, or did standing on my head for so long make the blood rush to my brain?

Bas: I've never seen anything like this. I didn't even know that something like this existed in the world of Dragon Ball. Did you know?

Takeshi: I don't think I've seen this in any episode, special, movie, or anything related to Dragon Ball, but I think I know what it could be.

Bas looks curious.

Takeshi: The day I died and came here, God told me that he couldn't bring me to the original world of Dragon Ball but to a different version of it. He told me that I would barely notice the differences, but believe me *pointing at the enormous planet* this is a huuuuge difference.

Bas: What should we do?

Takeshi: Maybe go to the largest planet. I can feel a lot of ki over there, so it's most likely a place with a great civilization and, hopefully, advanced technology. It will be great for repairing your ship.

Bas: Alright then, let's go.

Bas starts flying towards the planet but stops when he sees that Takeshi isn't following him.

Bas: Hey, what's wrong? Aren't you coming?

Takeshi: You do realize that I can't breathe in space, right?

Bas: Oh, right, umm snaps fingers I know, give me your hand.

Takeshi takes Bas's hand, and then Bas places one of his hands on his forehead using two fingers.

Takeshi: Hey, isn't that-

Both disappear from where they were.

Takeshi: Teleportation?

Takeshi and Bas start looking around.

Large metallic-looking buildings could be seen, houses, shops of all kinds, although nature was not lacking, with plenty of trees and flower areas. Overall, it was a very pleasant environment, like a kind of utopian future.

Bas: Wow, this place is very…

Takeshi: Beautiful…

Both warriors also look at the people passing by.

Bas: It seems that various races inhabit this place, and all are different.

Takeshi: It's incredible. I never thought a place like this would exist. It's cool. In a way, I feel like I'm in Dragon Ball GT.

Xx: Hey, did you see those two? They came out of nowhere!

Takeshi: Oh wow, it seems our arrival wasn't so stealthy.

Bas: I just hope they don't react badly.

Zz: It's true, I saw them too.

Several citizens start to surround Bas and Takeshi.

Xx: Who are you?

Asks one of the citizens.

Takeshi: Uh, well, uh *whispers* Bas, you handle this. I'm not good with crowds.

Bas: Okay, okay raises voice ahem, uh, greetings everyone, my name is Bas, and the little boy by my side is called Takeshi. We recently arrived here due to an accident we had in my ship, and now it's destroyed. I want you to know that we come with no hostile intentions.

Takeshi: (I didn't know he could speak so formally. It's like he's giving a speech.)

Bas: All I want is to know if it's possible to speak with some kind of mechanic or technician who can help me repair my ship.

All the citizens whisper among themselves about the new people who have introduced themselves.

???: What's the reason for all this commotion?

Said someone away from the crowd.

Takeshi: Um, who said that?

???: Make way.

The mysterious person makes their way through the crowd to the center.

Takeshi and Bas look at the individual, a tall and muscular man wearing a gray cape covering half of his body. He also wore a black tank top and gray pants, along with small black glasses with red lenses, and had white hair styled upwards with two locks below.

Takeshi: (I know I'm a kid, but how tall is that guy!)

Bas walks directly towards the individual.

???: Um, and who are you? Are you the reason for all the crowd?

Said the man who looked seriously at the demon of the cold.

Bas: Oh, um, excuse me for the little commotion. I assure you we haven't come to cause trouble. I just wanted to know if there's someone here who can help me with the repairs of my ship. That's all I need, and then I'll leave. My name is Bas extends his hand in greeting.

The mysterious man looks seriously at Bas for a few seconds before relaxing his expression and shaking his hand.

Kaiser: My name is Kaiser. If what you're looking for is help with repairing something, then you've found the right person. In this place, I take care of all the technology. Any machine you see here was built by me.

Bas: Oh, really? That's fabulous. Please, it would be great if you could help us.

Kaiser: I will, but you must understand that it will come with a price. I don't do this for free.

Bas: Oh, well, I'm not sure how we could pay you, but I'll find a way. Do you know if we can find some kind of work around here?

Kaiser: Hey, why do you keep talking in plural? I only see you.

Bas then realizes that Kaiser couldn't see Takeshi because he was standing in front of him.

Bas: Oh, I'm sorry, excuse me moves to the side he came with me. His name is Takeshi.

Kaiser looks at Takeshi for a few seconds.

Bas: As you can see, he is a-

Suddenly, Kaiser's face changes to an expression of anger.

Kaiser: Saiyan!!

An aura emanates from Kaiser, pushing away all the citizens around.

Bas: What's happening?

Takeshi instinctively takes a combat stance.

Takeshi: (What's wrong with this guy!?)

Kaiser lunges at Takeshi, throwing a punch, but Takeshi quickly backs away. The force of the punch leaves a huge crater in the ground.

Kaiser: First my planet and now this one! When will you have enough!?

Takeshi: Hey, I don't know what the heck you're talking about, but you better calm down.

Kaiser: Silence! You won't get out of here. I'll kill you; I swear you won't leave here alive!.

Elsewhere on the planet

In an office, a person could be seen looking at papers on a desk while sitting in a chair.

???: Wow, today's paperwork is a real nuisance yawns I just want to be able to rest.

A door is heard opening.

Xx: Uh, excuse me, Lord Led.

Led: Oh yes, what's happening?

Xx: Something is happening in the central area that you should know about.

Led: What's happening?

Back to the central area

Takeshi is grabbed by the neck and slammed against one of the buildings.

Takeshi: (What's wrong with this crazy guy!? At this rate, he's going to really hurt me.)

Kaiser: You only know how to destroy and conquer; that's all you do. You harm innocents to survive; you disgust me.

Takeshi: (Was his planet attacked by the Saiyans?)

Kaiser: But no more!

Kaiser pulls out his arm that was covered by his cape, causing some surprise to Takeshi.

Takeshi: (His arm… it's made of metal!?)

Kaiser: Look well, Saiyan, because this is what your race caused me, and it will be the last thing you see.

Kaiser prepares to throw a punch at Takeshi's face with all his strength.

Bas: (Damn, I should intervene!)

When Kaiser's fist is about to connect, it is stopped by Takeshi's hand.

An aura lights up the Saiyan's body.

Kaiser: What the-

Takeshi punches Kaiser away.

Bas: (Oh right, I forgot how strong he is 😅)

Takeshi: Listen, I'm sorry for what happened to your planet, and I wish they hadn't hurt your arm, but that doesn't mean I'll let you hit me.

Kaiser: Trash!

Kaiser uses his metallic arm to shoot a beam that Takeshi easily dodges, getting closer to his opponent.

Kaiser: (He's so fast!)

Takeshi kicks Kaiser in the stomach, leaving him breathless, then gives him an uppercut to the chin. Kaiser jumps back to get away, but when he looks down, Takeshi is already gone.

Kaiser: Eh, where!?

Kaiser feels someone tapping on the back of his neck, and when he looks back, he's poked in the cheek by Takeshi's finger.

Takeshi: You know, I think it's time to stop this. How about we relax, eat something, and talk peacefully? because honestly, I'm hungry.

Kaiser gets angry and throws a strong punch that is easily dodged.

Kaiser: Damn it, stop playing around, you damn ape! If you're going to kill me, do it already!

Takeshi: sigh I'll ignore the racism in what you said and continue with what I wanted to say. Listen, I came here peacefully, as my friend over there said. All I want is your help to fix his ship, nothing more.

Kaiser: I won't listen to you, damn it! And you!! Points to Bas You will also die for bringing this monster here.

Bas: (Wow, and I was so peaceful in my little ice world, and now I'm being threatened with death.)

Takeshi: (Wow, and I was so comfortable on my planet with a kind mother and her warm care, and now I'm here being threatened by an albino copy of the Winter Soldier.) Look, I'm tired of this. If you don't understand the easy way *ignites his aura* you'll do it the hard way.

Bas: Don't kill him!!

Takeshi: *gives a thumbs up* Don't worry!

Kaiser lunges towards Takeshi, and he prepares to use the Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist. But something falls between them, raising dust.

Kaiser: Eh, what's happening?!

Kaiser feels a hand, which doesn't seem to be Takeshi's, stopping his punch.

???: Wow, of all the people in the world, I didn't think you'd cause such a commotion, Kaiser.

Kaiser: (That voice!)

Takeshi: (Whoever it is, he has a huge ki!)

The dust clears, revealing the individual, a Frost Demon who appeared to be at least 1.90 meters tall, with a completely white head, torso, and feet, red gems, and two horns, giving him an even more intimidating appearance than Bas.

Bas: (Another one!)

Takeshi: (Frost Demon!!)

The demon releases the hand and crosses his arms.

???: I don't know what's happening here, but I won't allow you to fight, especially in an area where civilians could get hurt. Now, what do you have to say for yourself?

Kaiser bows in a sign of apology.

Kaiser: *sigh* My sincerest apologies, Lord Led. I didn't consider the situation and let my anger get the best of me. I hope you can forgive my clumsiness.

The Frost Demon looked seriously at Kaiser but quickly changed his expression to a serene and cheerful one.

Led: As long as you know what you did was wrong, I'm satisfied. Besides, no one here was hurt.

Takeshi: (I can feel that this guy has immense power.)

Takeshi pulls out his scouter to read the power of the demon, but it explodes.

Takeshi: (It exploded!!!?)

The Frost Demon notices the little Saiyan behind him, so he turns around and kneels to be at his height.

Led: Hello, little one. I hope my friend here hasn't hurt you. I tried to arrive as quickly as I could.

He said this while putting his hand on Takeshi's head and stroking his hair.

Takeshi: (He's very kind, although I've never liked having my hair messed up, but I'll let it pass.) I'm fine, sir, don't worry.

Led: ☺️ Good, I'm glad to hear it.

Bas approaches them.

Bas: A thousand apologies if we caused any trouble. It wasn't our intention. My friend was just trying to protect himself.

Led then stands up, looking at Bas.

Led: Oh, it's curious to see someone of my own race here. Don't worry, as I said, no one was hurt, and that's all that matters.

Bas: (Good, I'm glad this guy is friendly.)

Kaiser: In my defense, sir, the reason I acted that way is that this boy is a Saiyan.

Led: surprised A Saiyan, really?

Led looks closely at the Saiyan, walking around him, making him feel somewhat uncomfortable.

Takeshi: Uh, is everything alright, horn-head?

Bas: Huh, hey, don't call him that!

Kaiser found what the Saiyan said somewhat amusing but hid it with a grimace.

Led: Ah, yes, sorry. It's just that it's the second time I've seen a Saiyan in my entire life. I was just curious.

Takeshi: Well, that's okay, I guess.

Bas: Excuse me, but could you please tell me who you are?

Led: Oh, yes, sorry for not introducing myself earlier. My name is Led. I am the ruler of this planet and its surroundings.

Bas: Oh, and does that include those that are chained to this one?

Led: Those? Oh no, those are not. It's a somewhat long story. If you want, I can explain it, but let's do it in a more comfortable place.

Takeshi, Bas, Led, and Kaiser were sitting in a restaurant around a round table. Everyone was very relaxed except for one.

Takeshi: (Damn, how long is this guy going to keep looking at me like that?)

Referring to Kaiser, who was giving him a serious look that showed some hatred.

Bas: (Wow, Takeshi must be having a hard time now.) Um, Lord Led, going back to your story…

Led: Oh, please, just call me Led. Maybe my appearance doesn't give that impression, but I'm not really a fan of formalities. Besides, I already consider you and your friend as my friends.

Takeshi: Hey Led, when is the food coming? I'm starving.

Kaiser: Could you be a little more respectful, monkey?

Takeshi: Eh, do you hear that? I think I heard an idiot saying something. But it's so stupid that it's not even understandable.

Kaiser clenches his fists, showing he's very angry.

Led: Haha, relax Kaiser. As I said, we're all friends here; there's no need to be formal. *Looks to the side* Oh, look, little one, there's the food.

Takeshi: Finally, oh, and don't call me little. My name is Takeshi.

Bas: And mine is Bas.

Led: Bas, wow, it's the first time I've heard someone with a name like that.

Takeshi: Hehe, and you wouldn't believe the name I had before.

Bas: You shut up and eat your food.

Takeshi just nods and starts devouring, leaving Led surprised.

Led: (Wow, so all Saiyans really eat like that.)

Kaiser: (How unpleasant.)

Bas: Um, hey Led, about the story of those planets…

Led: Oh yes, I almost forgot. Well, you see, my friend, as you may have noticed, this great planet that I rule is inhabited by various races.

Bas: That's right, and I imagine they all come from those three planets.

Led: Four, actually.

Bas: Oh, really? It's just that when we landed, we fell on one of them, and we couldn't see the one above yours. We could only see the ones on the sides.

Led: Haha, well, that's understandable. But the point is, those planets belong to those races.

Takeshi, while eating, asks with his mouth full.

Takeshi: But if those guys now live here, why then are their planets chained to yours?

Kaiser: Have some manners!

Led: Calm down, Kaiser. Well, Takeshi, you see, although the people from those planets live here, some prefer to return to their planets.

Bas: But how is that possible? I doubt all those people can breathe in space.

Led: Well, you see, although those chains may look normal, inside them are transportation systems that take them to their respective planets.

Takeshi: I see, but how did four get chained to this one? Were they that close?

Led: Hehe, not exactly. I'll explain. This planet, although it may seem like one, is actually a huge ship.

Bas: What!?

Takeshi: Really? How is that possible!?

Led: Haha, well, all that was possible thanks to my friend Kaiser here. I know he didn't give you that impression, but he is actually one of the brightest minds in the entire universe. Practically everything you see here was built by him.

Kaiser: It's an honor to be called that by you, sigh sir.

Led laughs a little, confusing Bas and Takeshi.

Bas: But now I want to know why those planets are like that?

Led: Well, first I want to ask you two points to Bas and Takeshi by any chance, do you know Frieza, the emperor of the universe?

Both are surprised by the question.

Bas: Yes, we do.

Takeshi: He destroyed my planet and my mother with it.

Led was about to speak, but a small laugh is heard coming from Kaiser.

Takeshi: *serious* Hey, what are you laughing at?

Kaiser: Oh, nothing, it's nothing. It's just that it seems that after so much suffering that you caused others, it finally came back to you. Honestly, I find it almost poetic.

Takeshi frowned and clenched his fist, raising his ki, which was noticed by the two Frost Demons.

Bas: (Damn it, Takeshi, calm down. I don't want you to get us into trouble now that everything is going well.)

Led: (This could turn out badly; I should have done something.) Hey, Takeshi.

Takeshi: What's up?

Led: I don't know if I've already told you, but there's another Saiyan on this planet besides you.

Takeshi: Yeah, I think you mentioned it before.

Led: Would you like to meet him?

Takeshi: I guess.

Takeshi relaxed.

Led: Good, go to the tallest building on the planet. You'll recognize it immediately. If anyone stops you, say you come from me.

Takeshi: Alright.

Having said that, Takeshi got up from the chair and proceeded to leave.

Bas: Hey, Takeshi, don't get lost.

Takeshi: Yeah, yeah, whatever you say, grandma.

Takeshi left the place with an angry expression.

Bas: (Wow, that really put him in a bad mood.) *Looks at Kaiser* Hey, you, what you said was terrible. Don't you realize he's just a kid? (sort of)

Kaiser: To me, a Saiyan is a Saiyan.

After saying that, Kaiser stood up and proceeded to leave.

Kaiser: Sir, if you need me, you know where to find me.

Led just nodded, and Kaiser left the two Frost Demons alone.

Led: You must excuse Kaiser. He truly harbors a great hatred for the Saiyans because of what they did to his planet and to him. It was something that marked him forever, being the only survivor and barely making it.

Bas: Speaking of which, what race is he from? His appearance is very similar to the inhabitants of planet Earth.

Led: Oh, really? What a coincidence. But answering your question, he is a Tuffle.

Bas: A Tuffle!?

Led: Yes, let me explain how we met and how we came to build everything you see now.

Elsewhere

Takeshi could be seen standing in front of a very tall building, probably the tallest of all.

Takeshi: This must be it (wow, it looks like a hotel or something).

Takeshi entered the building to see a large desk with a woman sitting behind it.

Woman: Hello, young man, how can I help you?

Takeshi: He-hello, my name is Takeshi. I'm a Saiyan, and I came on behalf of Led to see another who he told me was here.

Woman: Oh, of course, allow me to guide you.

The woman approached Takeshi and took his hand, leading him.

Takeshi: Hey, hey, there's no need to hold my hand. I'm not a little kid, you know?

Woman: Oh, really? Hehe, sorry, it's a habit. I always hold my little brother's hand when I take him up the stairs.

Takeshi: sigh Whatever, please just take me there.

The woman nodded, and they both went up some stairs.

Takeshi: This building is quite large.

Woman: Well, it has to be. This is where Mr. Led lives and works, so most of the floors are full of offices, but the penultimate one is where his room is and the room of the Saiyan who is in the building.

Takeshi: And does this Saiyan we're talking about have a name?

Woman: As far as we know, no, but besides that, the little one is quite shy. He doesn't approach anyone and only seems to be calm when Mr. Led is with him.

Takeshi: I hope I can make a good impression.

Woman: I'm sure you will, just be positive!

Takeshi smiled at the woman's enthusiasm, as it reminded him a bit of his mother in this world.

Woman: Well, we've arrived. Behind this door is the Saiyan. I wish you luck.

Takeshi: Thank you.

Takeshi entered the room and closed the door.

Looking around, he could see a bunk bed (you know, those beds that have another bed on top), a wardrobe, and next to it a mirror. Next to these things was an open door showing a toilet, indicating that this was the bathroom.

Takeshi: Wow, it looks like a typical hotel room except for that bed, umm?

Takeshi noticed that on the lower bed there was a lump covered by the sheets, and it seemed to be trembling slightly.

Takeshi: (That must be him. I have to be careful; the woman told me he's shy.) Hey, are you there, little buddy?

The lump on the bed just kept trembling without saying anything.

Takeshi: Don't be scared; I'm a friend of Led's, and not only that, I'm also a Saiyan like you.

Upon hearing this, the lump stopped trembling.

Saiyan: Like me?

Takeshi: (Good!) Yes, that's right, and I'm also a kid like you. So if you want, you can come out, and we can talk or play something, whatever you want.

Hearing this, the child slowly started to come out until he was in front of Takeshi, having a rather harmless and innocent appearance, long black hair that reached his shoulders, and an expression that showed some fear.

Saiyan: Can we really play?

Takeshi: Y-yes, of course (good, I've made some progress).
