*in the head teacher office*

-matthew: "kai! Don't let the past effect your present because that will ruin your future "

-kai: "I couldn't help it matt.. sorry..

Sir.. he called me a criminal in front of everyone!! In front of daniel and anya.."

It's hard to see the tough, playful, unbreakable and reliable friend desperately trying to hold his tears back..

That's exactly how kai was at that moment.. he was hurt and almost crying.

"I-I was just a kid.."

-matthew: "it's totally fine kai you can go home and rest.. your dad.. was my dearest and only friend, i won't let them ruin your life, you're an honesty."

Matthew held kai's hand trying to console him.

"Believe me.. you act tough and all

but to me you're that littlle baby I held once in my arms"

All kai's attempts to stop himself from crying lost to these word..

He cried.. he cried in his uncle's arms after years and years of bottling it all up in his chest and pretending to be fine.

Meanwhile, jay was in the beholder's office.

"jay do you want me to call your father on you now?"

-Jay: "no.. sir, please don't.."

"then why? Why do you keep doing this?"

-Jay: "I was.. mad.."

"mad? It's always you or him.. why never other students? Give us a break you two!"

-Jay: "that's my problem sir.. we're not so different.. kai and I are.. quite the same but.. why does he keep pretending to be nice..?

I hate how he's faking.. i hate how he could move on so easily with his life and be happy again...."

"okay.. so you're saying.. the kai you know is not the kai we see now? Why don't you try change like him instead of trying to bring out the bad side of him?"

-jay: "(easy said than done.. He's talking as if I didn't kill myself trying..It's impossible.. I refuse to believe that he could make it,

.. he's fake, and will always be..)"

He thought to himself then addressed the beholder again

"..I hate him sir.."

He then put his head on the edge of the office and muttered

"With every fiber of my body.. I hate him"

*in the classroom*

-daniel: "we had two classes and he's still not back yet.. is he okay?"

-anya : "Let's go check on him while we're on a break please!!"

-mina: "I'd like to come with you.."

A few moments after them getting to the head teacher's office, kai came out of it with his eyes red and swollen

(-mina: "hm? Has he always been this weak?")

-anya: "KAI!" She hugged him

"are you okay? Did they say anything to you? You're not leaving the school, are you??"

Kai took a deep breath before saying anything, he knew well if he let his voice out normally he'd fall into tear again.

-kai: "y-yea everything is fine I wasn't punished or anything"

-daniel: "kai.. I'm sorry I think I was being fooled and I fell for it"

Kai smiled at him warmly.

-kai: "you won't hug me?"

-daniel: "I'm sorry"

He hugged both of them wrapping one arm around anya and the other around daniel.

-kai: "I love you both.. you are all

-anya: "hmph.. this again, let me at least compete with a girl"

Daniel laughed at anya's comment.

He then noticed that mina was staring and smiling at them from a distance.

-daniel: "mina come join us"

-mina: "I can do that?"

She wasn't sure if it was really okay for her to join them. She's not their friend after all.

But because daniel invited her

she did.. and the four of them hugged for a while without saying a word.

-mina: "guys, are you ready for the exams?"

-kai: "why are you reminding us now? we were having an emotional moment."

-mina: "haha, I'm sorry but if you wanna study together.. I'll help you with what I know"

-anya: "really?? That sounds good im so bad at maths"

-daniel: "I'm bad at English"

-kai: "I don't remember anything I'm bad at"

-daniel: "yea actually kai is so smart"

-mina: "very cool then, when are you coming to my place??"

-daniel: "no! Come to mine I live alone so.. it will make me happy to see more people in my house"

-kai: "okay I think everyone is fine with this, he lives alone but his house is so organized and clean"

-mina: "okay we're good then"

#weekend#

Daniel hurried to open the door for his friends as soon as he heard them knocking.

-Daniel: "You really came guys! The only one I used to have here is kai.. when his mom gets sick of him and kicks him out he comes here."

-kai: "really? Saying this to anya? You really do hate me dandan"

-anya: "it's nothing new I already know about it

(Speaking of.. there are things that I don't know.. I need to ask him what did jay mean by that the other day but how..)"

-mina: "hahahaha you guys are so funny"

-Daniel: "please come in, feel free to sit wherever and do whatever you like"

-kai: "I know"

-daniel: "I wasn't even talking to you"

-kai: "I know simp"

-daniel: "e-ey stop it kai"

Daniel was relieved to see that mina was busy checking out the house and didn't hear what kai said.

-kai: "hmmn my son is shy, okay I'm stopping it only if you treat me to something"

-daniel: "I cooked for you all and bought some snacks"

After hours of studying and working so hard they decided to get a break.

-daniel: "phew I'm so tired I feel like sleeping for a week"

-kai: "yes i know right? We deserve a vacation already"

-mina: "vacation? We just revised we didn't even pass the exams yet"

-anya: "should we go somewhere together this summer"

-mina: "I'd like to join you guys"

-kai: "you so damn popular I'm pretty sure there'd be a lot of people who would like to go out with you"

Daniel felt a little bad hearing what kai said.. because that made him realize that having her in their friend group doesn't make him any special or make them any closer.

-mina: "I really don't care about all this being popular thing.. everyone is kind to me, I like that but i wish I weren't, Because it's so much work.. sometimes, I feel like crying, yelling at someone and let everything out but

I can't because I'm only surrounded by people whom my relationship with is formal and superficial.. i have no real friends who would understand me. when I saw yall hugging the previous day I was kind of jealous.."

-daniel: "(this is tragic why am I feeling kinda happy?? Ugh dammit) you're welcomed anytime"

-mina: "thank you"

-anya: "what about jay?"

-mina: "oh jay.. Jay was my childhood friend his family and mine are friends so we grew up together.. when he was a kid he was so kindhearted,"

-daniel: "I can't believe you wanted me to get along with such a guy"

-mina: "I'm sorry.. I think y'all see the villain but I see the kid in his eyes"

-kai: "hmmm this isn't good" he whispered to daniel

-anya: "by the way kai I wanted to.."

Kai immediately knew what anya was going to ask so he interrupted her words.

-kai: "I will tell you.. I'm sorry for keeping this from you but I just didn't want you to leave me.. now listen carefully then decide,

Daniel, anya.. I trust you, so i know I can tell you, and about mina.. seems like she already knows"

-anya: "decide? About what? Is it this serious??"

-kai: "just listen then judge.."
