Chapter 3-Alexis

Fuck Kasey King! That was what I was chanting in my brain all the way home. I mean I barely knew the woman but she seemed okay at first. The bitch she was later? That was new. I was fucking fuming. We needed an annulment and we needed it fast. I couldn't believe I fell victim to alcohol induced wrong choices.

As soon as the cabbie dropped me off at home I paid him and stomped all the way to my apartment. I unlocked the door and slammed it shut. "You okay?" I turned around startled only to notice that it was Sophie. "I'm fucking not!" I told her as I started removing my walk of shame clothes. It's nothing she hadn't seen. After removing everything, I was left in my bra and panties.

"I'll tell you everything, I just need some wine to pamper this hangover. " I said as I headed straight to the kitchen to get myself some. As I was walking to the living room with my wine she accepted it handing me a robe before we sat down.

I told her everything that happened that morning. Not one detail left out. "What a dick." She concluded as she chugged from the bottle. "Tell me about it. Thank God for this leave. There's a lot to deal with." I said. My work leave had started the day before, the day we were celebrating before I met Kasey douche King. "What are you going to do about this?" She asked and I shrugged. "She told me to leave so I don't see a possible solution until she decides she wants to talk to me. That's the only way we will get an annulment." I said.

"I'm sorry babe" She sympathized and I leaned onto her, laying me head on her shoulder. "Fuck my life. Fuck Kasey King." I mumbled as she wrapped her hand around my shoulder. "Fuck her indeed." She agreed. "Should we tell Vic and Liv?" She asked and I shook my head. "For now, no. Oliver will freak out and Victoria will kill me." I told her. "True. I love my wife but she's scary. I'm still half convinced she was in the mafia at some point." She said and we shared a laugh.

She wasn't wrong. Vicky was scary. Mafia level scary. Especially when she was mad. "But, hear me out, if we tell them any later it's just going to elicit a bigger problem." She went on to saying. "What are your suggesting?" I asked, removing myself from her so I can look at her. "We tell them now. Any later and you know Vicky will combust." She said and I sighed. She also wasn't wrong.

"Call her. I'll call Oliver. Tell them to come over." I said to her reaching for my phone as she reached for hers. "Why should I call the mean one and you get to call the nice one?" She asked as we both began to dial their numbers. "She's your wife. Your take your bra off and she shuts up." I shot at her winking and she rolled her eyes at me.

We both told them to make their way over. "Okay. I'm going to wash yesterday off. Please charge my phone." I said as I stood up and handed her my phone. She playfully smacked my butt as I walked past her.

As I took a shower, I tried to remember what exactly happened the day before. "Fuck!" I exclaimed at both my fucked up situation and the hot water. I stayed in the hot water for a good ten minutes contemplating my life. "Lexi, they're here, babe." Sophie said knocking on the bathroom door. "I'll be out in a sec." I replied, closing the shower tap and stepping out.

I grabbed a towel and went to my room to get dressed. I wore sweats and a T-shirt. Walked barefoot to join them in the living room. "Hey babe. You look like death." Vicky said. "Thank you. I feel like death. How are you guys." I asked as I threw myself on the couch next to Oliver.

"Good good. Why did you guys call us here so urgently?" Vicky asked, accepting a steaming mug of coffee from her wife who was handing it out to everyone. I accepted mine and took a sip. "I'm married." I said as I placed it on the coffee table. "So am I." Oliver said in major gay sarcasm, rolling his eyes.

"Liv, she's serious." Sophie warned. "I got married to my one night stand." I said and at that point I felt like I was living a monotonous life. "You what?" Vicky asked. Calmly. I much preferred her display of anger over the calmness. It's always calm before a disastrous storm.

"The lady we left her with." Sophie said, brushing her hands on her wife's shoulder. "I got the memo, thanks." Vic said sarcastically and Sophie raised her hands in surrender before laying them on her lap.

"What happened?" She asked me. "That's the thing, she doesn't remember." Sophie answered for me. "She can speak for herself," Vicky started looking at her wife. "Like she did when she said I do." She finished, turning to me. "Did you get an annulment?" She asked me. "I tried to talk to her but she kicked me out of her house." I told her.

At that point, Sophie and Oliver just sat there and observed. "Sometimes I fail to understand what happens in your head." Vicky said, raising her voice a bit. I hung my head in shame feeling like a child caught with her hand in the cookie jar. "Do you have her number? Or her email at least?" She asked.

"Babe, I think we should-" Sophie started but Vicky cut her off. "I'm getting to you in a fucking minute." She gritted through her teeth. "Please don't punish her for my faults." I said so close to tears. "Do you have any means of contacting her?" She asked once more ignoring my pleas. "We did exchange numbers yesterday. I'm just not sure if she will pick up." I told her.

"Hand me her phone." She said to Oliver who found himself next to my charging station. He handed her the phone silently. "I saved her as-" I started but got cut off. "Wife. I see that." She finished for me, dialing her number and pressing the phone onto her ear. "Straight to voicemail." She said, frustrated before hanging up and placing my phone on the table full of long forgotten coffee.

"Vicky, I was drunk. I know that marrying someone I just met is the stupidest thing I've ever had to deal with but I was drunk." I pleaded. Her eyes softened a bit. "Which is why we shouldn't have left you there yesterday night." She said before turning to her wife. "Which brings me to you. The biggest encouragement of us ever leaving her there." She said.

"I thought she was going to have a fun time, that's it." Sophie defended. "She couldn't have possibly known that I'd get myself into this sticky situation." I added on her behalf. "Don't bother explaining yourself. You know your punishment." She said to Sophie, smirking at her. Sophie blushed, looking away.

"God please stop I can't handle lesbian mushiness. It's disgustingly cute." Oliver said clasping at his chest. I was glad to know she wasn't in much trouble.

"Hey, we'll figure this out, okay?" Vicky said while Oliver rubbed my back. I nodded at her. I hoped she was right.
