Down the Stair
The car was driving down a fairly deserted street. On their right and left there were only shady trees that lined the forest behind them. Creating a strange peaceful scene.
It had been about three hours since they had left Al'Modred city. Mavra sat at the far left of the back seat. She tried her best not to look to the right.
Jasper was sitting in the front seat, right next to Cassius who was driving. Jasper glanced at Mavra in the rearview mirror. Then he smirked when he saw what Mavra was doing.
If Cassius hadn't ordered the two of them to be quiet and not make a fuss, Jasper would have said something that was on his mind. And that would spark a fight.
But Jasper didn't want to make Cassius angry and annoyed. He knew how strong Cassius was and Jasper was reluctant to test the Vampire's fierce strength. So Jasper chose silence.
Although he had quite a bit of trouble doing it because Mavra's facial expression tickled him so much to hurl some insults.
