The Supernatural Hunter System

'BANG!'

The Werewolf leader bounced back and fell on his back when Rainn shot him in the head. He groaned in pain.

Rainn put the Colt revolver back into the Inventory then dashed towards the female Werewolf and grabbed her by the neck.

Rainn pressed her against the wall. She turned back into the form of a naked woman. She groaned in Rainn's grip.

"P-please..." the woman whimpered in pain and tried to reach Rainn's hand that was gripping her neck.

"Shut up, bitch," Rainn said.

"I'll give you the place of our hideout..." The woman said in a hoarse voice that seemed very difficult to get out of her clogged neck.

"It's too late for that now. You should have said that when I gave you a chance to talk," Rainn said coldly.

His grip on her neck grew tighter. Suddenly the woman's hand turned into a wolf's hand again and she stabbed Rainn in the stomach.

Rainn felt a stinging pain in his stomach. But he didn't feel his body weaken.

Rainn let go of the grip on the woman's neck and then clutched her head. After that Rainn slashed the woman's neck with the Shadowsteel Sword until her blood splashed.

Rainn didn't just slash her once as the woman kept regenerating. Rainn repeatedly slashed her and then let her fall to the floor.

Rainn took the Colt revolver into his hand again and put the muzzle of the revolver into the woman's mouth.

Then Rainn turned it slightly until the muzzle of the Colt revolver pointed upwards.

The woman looked at Rainn with eyes filled with fear. Rainn smirked. Without another word, Rainn fired his Colt revolver.

'BANG!'

The brain fluid from the woman splashed against the wall behind her. Of course, Rainn also used [ Rotten Bullet ] so the head started to rot after being shot.

Rainn let the woman lay motionless on the floor. Even though she could regenerate, she no longer had the will to live.

Then, Rainn turned to the Werewolf leader and shot him in the head a few more times.

The three werewolves were now in the dying stage. With decay that continues to eat away at their bodies and the ability to regenerate also continues to occur.

But that regeneration ability would not be able to keep up with the speed of decay. They would die in a few minutes.

Rainn came out of the empty building into the rain. Up ahead, the Investigator's car was approaching.

Never had he thought before it would be like this. Three months ago he was just a weak and stupid young man who was no more meaningful than the garbage on the streets.

Now, he has become the most deadly predator. He was feared by the supernatural, and also by the human.

It all started three months ago. When Rainn got the power that had already been lost for a long time in this world.

The power that wiped out the Vampire and Werewolf race from this kingdom.

THREE MONTHS AGO.

"If you don't work hard, you won't have any value for us!" The shout came from a long-haired man who echoes in the cave's wall. Some pairs of eyes are staring at him but they do not care. As if he deserves that kind of treatment.

He was a thin and ordinary boy who just dropped the green rocks.

"I'm sorry." The boy was Rainn. He took the green rocks and put them back in the box. Then brought the box over his shoulder.

The guild has just completed a mission to hunt down the ghoul in a cave located north of the city of Al'Modred.

Rainn is a young man but his future looks as if it was over. He is not too strong to be at the front line and hunting down many supernatural. Rainn just can't be good.

So, because coincidentally this cave also has good natural resources, Rainn is given the task of just mining the Emeraldy stone and carrying it.

Rainn can not complain. He is used to this duty. He also used to be a person who is mistreated and underestimated.

However, just because he used to it doesn't mean he doesn't feel anything. Rainn also felt anger when he saw the joy in the other hunters' faces because they had hunted the dangerous supernatural and could boast themself about it.

While he is only an unofficial and part-time hunter who should be obeying orders of any kind instead of hunting down the supernatural.

His pay grade is also smaller than theirs.

Rainn was angry with himself who was too weak.

The shocks on the truck when passing a big hole in the middle of the heavy rain surprised him. He who was sitting in the rear part of the truck got wet from the opened broken window of the truck.

Rainn stared up. Toward the dingy stormy night sky that seems to describe his life.

People in this truck are the hunter at the weakest level from a guild named The Triade. One of the strongest supernatural hunter guilds in Al'Modred city.

Rainn is not part of the guild. He only works part-time as someone who is called on because they need more muscle to mine resources or practically anything.

Could it be just this life that he will live to death? Being a person who doesn't have any great value in the middle of this cruel wide world?

A few hours of traveling passed. Rainn came down from the truck that took him and the other hunter. Upfront there he could see the hunter at the top level of the guild come out from a shiny SUV car.

There is only one car that took them. Because the number of top-level hunters on this mission is not many. Well, because the enemy they face is just weak supernaturals.

Artren Mag, is a strong man with blonde hair. He is very proficient in using swords and knives. Both of his favorite swords that he always brings are perched on his back.

Bryna Brynaw, is a woman who has talent that is almost equal to Artren. She uses a rifle as his flagship weapon.

They both are the two hunters at the top level of The Triade guild. There are three other people. Although they are strong and being in the top-level hunter, the other three are still stronger than them.

Rainn stares from a distance. Often he hopes to be as strong as they are. But what he could do? he doesn't have any talent.

The hunters went into the building of guilds to receive their salary. As he has guessed, the salary he received is very little.

But Rainn did not dare to complain. That's what he gets from just being a rock carrier.

To go to his home, Rainn uses the most popular transport mode in Al'Modred city. That is a metro fast train. The subway is not crowded tonight. There is only himself and two other people.

One man was calling with a happy smile on his face. One more beautiful woman turned off her face when realize Rainn is looking at her.

Maybe because of this rumpled and dirty wear? Or maybe it's because Rainn looks uncomfortable to look at.

Rainn descended a wet staircase to his residence which is a basement apartment under the old building.

He unlocked the few doors. It take him several times efforts until finally, Rainn could open the iron door.

This place is the only place he can afford at a cheap rental cost. What he could pay with his job as a part-time hunter.

Rainn laying on the mattress after the finished washing. He looked at the ceiling and cursed his life until he finally succumb to the dream world.
