"Len, dear... my sweet Len... It was a misunderstanding. There's no way I would cheat on you." Doyle said as he approached Len with a look filled with pain.
"Don't try to fool me. I heard everything... I won't be swayed." Len knits his brows, backing away from Doyle as he turns around while holding back tears.
I tried to reach him, call out to him even— but neither my voice nor my hands could reach him. It was as if I had been blocked off from him by an outside force. I couldn't reach him no matter what, only spectate.
"What can I do to change that? Give me a chance... Lenford..." Doyle wraps his arms around Len's waist, pulling him to his body as the tears that threatened to fall cascaded down his cheeks.
"What... N-no... Even if I do... it won't change a thing." Len breaks out of his grip as I silently cheered from the walls of my invisible prison.
"Even if... I have done it for you?" Doyle asked, suddenly kneeling to the ground as he rummaged through his pocket.
