Within the grand Desmond mansion, in the sprawling main hall adorned with a majestic staircase leading to the upper floor, a scene of disarray unfolded. Numerous figures lay strewn across the floor, their bodies dampened by water and engulfed in the pungent odor of alcohol. Some snored in a drunken stupor, while others teetered on the brink of consciousness, clutching bottles that continuously poured their contents into their mouths.
