Isaac's powerful strides reverberated through the ground, leaving deep impressions in the earth beneath him. The floor groaned under the weight of his dominating presence, each step a testament to his overwhelming strength.
With a swift and calculated motion of his right hand, a strip of flesh at the front latched onto an iron pillar. With a forceful swing, the iron pillar soared through the air, connecting solidly with Alice's back as she sprinted ahead. The impact sent Alice staggering, and she hit the ground with an ugly expression. However, fueled by a mix of pain and determination, she clawed her way back up.
Amidst the intense confrontation, Alice chuckled bitterly, her voice cutting through the tension. "Do you really think you represent the future?" she questioned, her eyes reflecting a blend of defiance and resilience.
Isaac raised his palms triumphantly, his confidence unwavering. "Why yes, I'm a level above you, stronger and superior," he declared with pride.
Despite the dire situation, Alice couldn't help but smile, glancing around as she spoke. "So, do you even know where we are?" Her words hinted at a deeper layer of the unfolding drama.
Isaac, momentarily caught off guard, sensed that something was amiss. A realization struck him like a lightning bolt. "Wait a minute... this looks like the storage for the red Queen's computer room. And that passage, the one leading to the red Queen's computer room? Laser corridor." The revelation unfolded before him, and the stakes rose dramatically.
Wesker had given the green light, signaling that the white Queen could terminate Isaac at any moment. Panic flashed in Isaac's eyes. "NO... Dammit, I won't let you get away with this!"
He lifted his foot, preparing to make a break for it, but Alice, refusing to be overpowered, leaped and grabbed onto his foot, determined to thwart his escape. "Come on..." she shouted defiantly at the camera in the passage, her expression a mix of determination and defiance. She was no longer resigned to being entombed with this monstrous adversary.
However, the laser beam remained silent, indifferent to Alice's plea. Isaac, seizing the opportunity, turned his head and smirked at Alice. "It seems... luck's not your ally."
Grinning, he kicked Alice to the end of the passage, ready to make his exit.
"Hey, where do you think you're going?"
Isaac looked baffled, realizing there were others in the base. Unfazed, Alice leaned into the passage, revealing the unexpected reinforcements outside. "You're not escaping, Isaac."
Isaac, caught off guard by the unforeseen turn of events, questioned with disbelief, "Just them?" Carlos and Jill exchanged glances, their determination unwavering. Some foes just didn't know when to call it quits.
Gunshots echoed, a symphony of bullets bombarding Isaac. "I... am... immortal..." he roared, sarcomas growing, body mutating, gaining height.
Carlos glanced at Jill, covered his headset, and grinned, "Let the show begin."
Suddenly, two radiant beams pierced through the obscurity, casting an eerie glow. Isaac's heart, already racing, plummeted into an icy abyss as the defense mechanism of the laser passage sprang to life.
Bullets lodged in his body left no room for escape, and in that heart-stopping moment, all he yearned for was a swift exit. As long as the core of his being could break free, there might still be a sliver of hope.
"No, you can't kill me, I will definitely...," Isaac's defiant words hung in the air.
The laser net expanded with ruthless efficiency, swiftly enveloping him in its deadly embrace.
"Idiot," Carlos quipped as he strolled into the scene, joining Alice's side. "Looks like you're in a tight spot."
"Yeah, you could've shown up a bit earlier," Alice retorted.
"Wasn't this the stage we set for you?" Jill chimed in with a playful tease.
Within the passage, Isaac disintegrated into fragments of flesh, his fate sealed by the unforgiving laser net. Even the potent T-virus likely couldn't resurrect him from such a dire state.
Carlos, ever pragmatic, located something to bandage Alice. If it were someone else with this injury, they might not have fared as well.
"By the way, why did you come here?" Alice inquired, curiosity etched across her face.
"Because of you," Carlos affirmed. "Yes, my boss said you're the key to putting an end to all this. Specifically, he mentioned that we can extract intelligence from this base, and we now have allies."
Alice nodded, absorbing the information about the White Queen, but a lingering question echoed in her mind – how did Carlos's boss know about it?
"Your boss... isn't he high up in Umbrella? What did you say about us? Explain yourself." As she spoke, Alice's hand gravitated toward the pistol on her hip. Any sudden move from Carlos, and she would draw and fire.
"Don't be on edge, Mousse, explain," Carlos reassured, addressing the unseen presence in the base.
"Mousse?" Alice was perplexed.
"No, isn't the artificial intelligence of this base called the White Queen? How did it become Mousse?" Jill explained, pointing towards the laser channel.
"Didn't you sense something was off when you entered here?" Jill asked, a hint of mischief in her eyes.
"Yes, the laser channel should have activated as soon as Isaac and I entered. It was the arrangement with the White Queen, but she didn't trigger it. Could it be because of you?" Alice questioned.
"Yes, Mousse has taken control of this base; it's the artificial intelligence of our facility," Carlos revealed, lifting the veil on the mysterious force governing their surroundings.
Alice, distrust etched on her face, drew her pistol. "So you're really in cahoots with Umbrella?"
Carlos raised his hands in a gesture of peace. "Calm down, Alice. If we wanted to harm you, we would have done so already. Don't you trust me? Now, there's a chance to put an end to this. It's your call."
"End this? The T-Virus?" Alice probed, uncertainty clouding her expression.
