The line subtly pierced the worm's skin.

It pulsed as a stream of energy rushed into it and instigated its rampant growth. 

From the opposite end of the worm, the tip of the line rose up. A tiny bud was on it, throbbing with a bluish glow.

The worm couldn't be any whiter. 

Every part of the worm had turned to ice and when the sharp finger of Reve touched its body, it broke apart into ice particles.

'Hehe, that should do it,' thought Reve. 

He was already a fourth-circle arcanist. He could afford to use [Winter Rose] as he wished. Of course, he also had to factor in the energy cost.
