Annoying Day

While Luci was tidying up her clothes and belongings in her room, Kyung Joon and Luci's parents were still waiting in the living room to hear the real reason, why she had run away from their wedding that time.

Kyung Joon wouldn't let Lucia walk away from him before all the problems got clear. However, Lucia no longer wanted to deal with her owner at PT. Nalendra Textile, she just wanted a quick vacation while having fun in Greece with Bertha.

This afternoon too, Lucia would immediately write her resignation letter to Nalendra. Likewise Bertha, she had the same goals as Lucia, but before resigning Bertha would first speak to her family.

Bertha was forced to do this because she had been accused of being a friend, who had deliberately hidden Lucia outside Jakarta. Apparently, working at Nalendra Textile was not a pleasant thing.

It turned out, their boss wasn't as good as they thought. Half an hour later, after tidying up some clothes, Luci laid down on the bed for a while staring at the wall.

That gaze was full of anger that was caused by both the family and the people. Who else if not Fela, Trina, and Ronald?

Bertha looked at Lucia's face in astonishment, it was unusual for her to show such a facial expression. Angry, disappointed, hurt, and even hate. Bertha then laid down beside her friend, once again she tried to get Lucia to talk heart to heart.

"Lus, what are you thinking about? Why are your eyes and facial expressions filled with anger and disappointment?" asked Bertha gently.

"Ah ... I am like this because of yesterday's problems and also my meeting with him. I am very upset, Tha." Lucia was still staring at the walls of her room, without looking at Bertha.

"I understand how you feel now, if I were you, I would behave the same way as you. Of course I would be angry, disappointed, and confused. Moreover, you have to resign from the company, you will have more problems," concluded Bertha.

"As you told me earlier, that an arranged marriage is not always good for a person. If the man's origins are clear, it might not be a problem if I set up an arranged marriage with him. However, Kyung Joon is a boss I have only known for 5 months, even I don't know his personality very well yet," added Lucia, she sighed trying to hold back the annoyance in her heart.

"Sorry, Lus. I don't want to interfere in your personal affairs, you know that I'm not a nosy person like Fela and Trina. However, I think you should open your heart to other people, so that your mind doesn't keep thinking about Mr. Kyung Joon. After all, he is not a special person in your life, right??" asked Bertha to be sure.

Luci also quickly turned to the side, seeing Bertha while frowning. "What do you mean, Bertha? Why should I open my heart to another man? Right now, I'm not in the mood to open my heart to any man. I just want to take a vacation and forget all my problems."

"Well, then I won't ask you to open your heart to any man, it's up to you. The important thing is that you are happy, I only suggest, that's nothing more," said Bertha.

"I am sick of all this, how about I stay somewhere else for a while, until my parents stop setting me up with other men and no longer forcing their way? Is that a good idea?" Luci asked Bertha, her expression slightly cheerful.

"Where do you want to live? At my house or in one of your father's apartments? They will definitely know where you are if you live in that apartment," Bertha replied, warning Luci.

"Oh, of course not. I'm not stupid, Bertha. I will rent another apartment far from the city while looking for another job. I want to stay away from them and Mr. Kyung Joon." Lucia replied firmly.

"Okay, I will help you find a new job and an apartment after returning from Greece. Too bad, I can only vacation there for one week," concluded Bertha, smiling faintly.

"What can I do now? Are you going back to the airport and then exchanging flight tickets there? That's impossible right??"

"Hmm ... two weeks in Greece, it feels too long and boring. There you will see beautiful views of the Aegean Sea, then to Santorini Island, and so on. By the way, why do you really want to vacation there?" asked Bertha curiously.

"I really want to vacation there because of the beautiful view of the Aegean Sea, as you said earlier. Besides, I used to watch a Taiwanese drama that was set in Greece. When I was in college, the actors were quite famous at that time, the story in the drama was so impressive to me." Lucia explained, her beautiful eyes sparkling.

"Is it true what you told me before? I guess, I have never seen that drama. Or maybe I forgot, if it turns out I have seen that drama. I totally forgot, Luci."

"What I told you was true, Tha. In 2004 to be precise, or in 2003 maybe when I watched the romantic drama. If I had never met Mr. Kyung Joon, maybe my life wouldn't be as complicated as it is now," complained Lucia.

"Ah, never mind, there's no need to talk about your life and your relationship with Mr. Kyung Joon. Look, it's almost dark, you better get out of here before he rages because he waited too long," said Bertha excitedly.

"Okay, please help me carry these suitcases. Remember, later when you meet my parents and Mr. Kyung Joon in the living room, you have to tell them that we are going to Greece tomorrow morning. Don't tell me that I will stay at your house okay?" said Lucia.

"Don't worry, I will take care of everything. Come on, Lus," said Bertha, pulling Lucia's arm, who still wanted to laze on her bed.

Finally, Lucia decided to stay at Bertha's house before they went on vacation to Greece. Today was a very long day for both Lucia and Bertha, as well as an annoying day of course.
