Libitina looked up meeting Luna's eyes, she always asked Luna this question but Luna always avoided it.

The reason still unknown to her.

Luna paused for a moment, looking at the cubs then the door to the story room. She had to make sure no one was listening especially that red haired she-wolf, she had scared out of the room. That one was a snitch and most probably a lap dog for the alpha.

When Luna had ensured that she heard no heart beats or footsteps outside the room she begin her story

"There was once a time, when we were still the land of Terra, at the time the land was undivided. There was a pregnant she-wolf, who wasn't from Terra, she got pregnant with a girl in the land of Terra, it couldn't be kept in the dark for long before the alpha...that is past alpha found out and ordered the she-wolf and her mate be killed, he had said the she-wolf threatened the reign of the alpha. He had killed the she-wolf after the birth of her cub, he didn't want the cub to be punished for his parents mistakes.

"Now, normally when a cub is given birth to, he or she is born with grey hair and eyes, to symbolize a gift from the moon goddess, as they grow to a certain age of 2-3 the color of eyes and hair of the child begins to change, mind you the color of the cub's hair and eyes must be the same and their scent becomes more dominant." Luna explained.

At the statement, Libitina could feel the piercing eyes of the cub's on her, she always knew she was different but never thought, she was this different, her eyes and hair were a different color altogether, with her hair being ginger and eyes being a piercing blue and to add to that she had no scent at all.

Libitina pushed herself into Luna's form, in return Luna wrapped her arms around the little cub as she pecked the head of the cub. She must have sensed the uneasiness of the cub.

"Don't look at Tina like that, never look accusingly at some lad because he or she possesses a feature out of the ordinary." Luna said while treading her fingers through Libitina's hair

This soothed the looks but not the loud beating of Libitina's heart that she was sure everyone could hear.

"Anyway, back to the story. The female cub reached the age of 2 and no strand of her hair or her eyes had changed colour yet, people looked at it as slow aging but she got to the age of 6 and still no change, the alpha saw it as unnatural and ordered for her death immediately, but the executioners couldn't bring themselves to do it. They said to themselves, it would be like killing the moon goddess, the alpha understood were they were coming from. He may have been a blood thirsty alpha but he cherished the moon goddess. To some extent." Libitina could hear Luna say the last part under her breath, as though she believed no one would hear it. "The alpha decided that if she reminded his subjects so much of the moon goddess, she should be kept amongst people who spend their time worshipping the moon goddess, being the wolves who lost their mates, so he divided Terra into 4...or 5 regions."

The cub's noticed how Luna answered question A and avoided question B but knew better than to question an elder especially an elder of such caliber that even their parents held on high regard. Libitina noticed too, she wasn't shocked that Luna avoided the question. She expected it even.

"Yes. Any questions?", Luna questioned with a smile.

Libitina raised her hand.

"Then why did he divide Terra into 5 parts and not just 2, since he just wanted wolves with late mates to have the relishing feeling of presence the moon goddess?"

Luna pinched the Libitina's cheek.

"Now, that's a question you'll have to ask the alpha when you meet him, because I have no idea. But you must remember it's against the law to go into any of the terrioty in which it's category, you don't fit."

Luna could see the look on the face of Libitina, she had that eureka look when one had found a scientific discovery.

Libitina snapped her finger pointing at Luna.

"You're the cub, you just told us about. Aren't you? Your hair and eyes are also grey just like the cub in the story and it all sums up because you're also in Sud."

Libitina was beyond happy that she knew this much about Luna in such a short period of time, which made her more excited to hear what Luna had to say. One of the reasons the little cub enjoyed storytime was because it was one of those times Luna wasn't her mysterious self.

Luna smiled.

"Well, you all should go play now."

Luna smiled as she saw Libitina play with her fellow cubs, it filled her heart with joy seeing the cub grin with delight as she fell to the floor in an attempt to catch her fellow cub.

Just as she was about to call Libitina's attention, Libitina had already started making her way towards Luna and with her, the same cub with the brown colored eyes and hair wasn't far behind.

"Luna!!! I made a new friend. Meet Ares.", Libitina exclaimed, as she pushed the cub towards Luna.

"Hi Ares. How are you?", Luna asked trying to steady Ares from tumbling. "Libitina, be gentle.", Luna scolded

"I'm well. I really enjoyed the story you told us. I really do wish to come again.", Ares answered

That's the same thing every cub says, but Sud can only be visited once by cubs below age of 18 and it's a once in a lifetime opportunity.

"Yes. Me too." Luna paused taking in the cub's brown eyes. "You look like you would want to ask more questions."

Ares eyes lit up. He really wanted to but didn't want to sound too overbearing.

"Yes. Firstly, why is your name Luna. Isn't it a title held by.....I don't know....the Luna. Are you a Luna?"

This question also caught Libitina's attention, as it diverted the look of admiration she was sending towards Ares.

Luna smiled, pinching the cub's cheek.

"Smart boy....."
