As respective families of cubs stop by Sud, the southern region of Terra Divera, a land run by wolves only. Amongst all the regions Terra Divera was divided into, Sud could be mostly associated with a graveyard as people used to say, 'if you're looking for a rich place, check the graveyard.' Now Sud was a place inhabited by werewolves who have lost their mates to the hands of death. Their eyes have lost all warmth it had in the days before, the laughs that used to be heard have diminished, the only objects that show any proof of light are the trees, flowers and houses that have been rooted in the land.

To others it may seem, the people of Sud are so happy, their happiness extends to their surroundings but on the inside, it is only they that understand the pain of immersing yourself in work just to forget the loss of ever losing your mate.

Going deeper into the land of Sud, a house stands tall amongst others, it's been painted grey with the creasent moon hung at it's wooden door, the house made of wood that tells stories of the age of house. It was as though other houses had moved into the future and this particular house couldn't make it.

Inside the house a young female cub with ginger coloured hair and blue coloured eyes occupied her window seat as she rested her head upon her window pane, she kept her eyes out the window until she saw the first proof of what she sort.

Libitina continued her longing stare  out the window as she waited and waited, she gasped in delight, with a glint of light in her eyes. She had seen what she had been waiting for, the first cub that would arrive at the gates of Sud. She bolted out of her room, not wanting to waste her time by taking the stairs, she mounted herself on the rail sliding down the staircase rail.

Every once in a while cubs would be brought to Sud, as it's a place designated for males and females who have lost their mates in one way or another. With no family to call theirs, they find joy being surrounded by cubs as they are a blessing from the moon goddess.

Libitina kept her pace as she jumped of the rail heading to the front door, she held the door knob about to pull when she felt a tug from behind. She frowned as she noticed her pause in motion, she looked up behind her ready to give whoever had the audacity to put a sunder to her mission, a piece of her mind, she saw Luna, an old she-wolf with grey coloured hair and eyes, pale skin although her age could be said to be ancient, you could never tell as her face resembled that of a 29 year old, she was dressed in an all white dress. Luna always wore white as it represented purity and every other person saw her as such.

The smile Luna sent towards Libitina was able to turn Libitina's frown up-side-down, she was sure if it was any other she-wolf that roamed around Sud, she would have thrown a fit.

"Where are you going?", Luna asked Libitina with a smile as she released Libitina of her hold.

"I'm going to see the new cubs.", Libitina answered with a guilty smile, she knew very well she hadn't had her bath yet but the little cub couldn't wait, she was the only cub of her age or age gap in the land of Sud, it could get lonely. She longs more than any other werewolf in Sud for the times the cobs would visit.

Luna always loved Libitina's smile, right from the first time she laid eyes on her, which was right after the cub's birth, it came as a surprise when she was given a new born pup to take care of. There were so many things that amazed Luna when she saw the little cub, she knew Libitina was special.

Another thing that caught her attention was the story of the cub's birth, it was so similar to hers, therefore, still remained a mystery to her. It's quite sad though that such a beautiful cub was given the name, Libitina meaning death, she was given reason to believe the cub brought death along with her though she thought nothing of it. People would always find a way to taunt people who seemed different.

It was a mystery still that after the death of the former alpha, the present alpha still held so much ire towards her when he hadn't met her before, so as to even go as far as to give a cub such a repelling name just to so how much his family hates hers because he believes they had threatened his reign, which she believes is rubbish by the way.

Luna hates the name and that's why she settled on calling the little cub Tina, she tries to reason with other wolves into using the name Tina on the cub but they never agree, saying 'one day she'll grow up and people, especially the alpha will call her Libitina, I think she should get use to it now. It's for her own good.'  In other to avoid such situations, she always kept Libitina indoors, it didn't do much as the she-wolves always found a way to gossip, no cub at such a delicate state of their life should experience such trauma.

"Well, at least you should have your bath before going to meet the cubs. Don't you think?" Luna insisted. "You wouldn't want to draw attention for the wrong reasons."

"But I want to make every second spent worth it, you don't know how it feels staying here with all you old- no offense-wolves everyday. You all always drain out my energy, with your chats of how your mates were or how they eat and yada. Yada. yada."

Libitina nagged.

"I understand you feel lonely but I don't remember talking about a mate.", Luna said in thought

"Well that's because, you always tell me you don't have one. Of which I think it's impossible considering you're the nicest person I know, the moon goddess would be bonkers to not give you a mate." Libitina reasoned with a smile.

Luna always enjoyed hearing Libitina speak. Though the wolf was young in age, her mental ability and speech didn't lag.

"I agree too." Luna answered just so the cub could feel like she got the last say. "Now go have your bath while I prepare the cubs for story time."

Libitina ran as fast as her little legs could carry her as she approached her room.

"And remember to wear your mist. Okay?" Luna called after her.

Although Libitina didn't deliver a response, Luna was positive she had heard her. The mist was important.

It was important that Libitina wore to bottles of mist at all times as it covers up her scent as it would prove useful in later years, Luna thought with a smile.

She had checked into the book of potions at the old library, it proved difficult as the place had been deserted without a single touch of love to the place, it only served Luna's cause well, as no wolf would know about the mist until they're smart enough to clean the library up.

------------

Luna sat on a stool as the cub's surrounded her with puppy eyes staring expectingly at her but she wasn't ready to start yet, she had to wait for Tina.

"I'm here. I'm here!!!!!!", Libitina exclaimed as she practical flew into the story room, pulling all attention to herself.

"Tina, it's about time. Every body say  hello to Tina.", Luna said as she pointed to Libitina.

"Hello.....", All the wolves chorused.

"How many times have we told you Luna, stop calling her Tina her name is Libitina.", A she-wolf interjected, she had red hair and red eyes, she always seemed to wear a scowl on her face.

At this moment, all cubs turned to look at Libitina. Of course they weren't stupid, they knew the meaning of the word.

Luna quickly dismissed the situation with a laugh and a dirty look in the she-wolf's direction, automatically sending her out of the room.

"Come Tina, sit with me." Luna adjusted to make some space for Tina, who stood at the door with shock written all over her face but still cooperated, sitting on Luna's lap instead.

"Good girl, now this story is about Terra divera. As you know Terra divera is divided into 4 while some say 5:

Nord, which is for mated wolves and cubs.

Ovest, for unmated she-wolves that are of age, which I assume you know is from 18 and above for both males and females.

Est, for unmated he-wolves that are also of age.

Sud, for wolves who have lost their mates.

And the central, being the place for the royals.

Although, Terra divera didn't always go by this name, it once went by the name Terra." Luna paused as she saw the question lingering in the eyes of a certain cub with brown coloured hair and eyes, he could not be above 9.

Luna knew very well she shouldn't be telling cubs such stories about their past alphas but they deserve to know, she does this because she knows she's close to untouchable right now she must take advantage of the belief the wolves have in her being a representation of the moon goddess after all. Besides, it's best these cubs realize what their past alphas were like in other to make the pack a better place in the future.

She wondered what this little one would want to ask?

This should be interesting, she thought.

"But why are we divided now? And if you say Nord is for the mated wolves and cubs, why is Libi....I mean Tina here? Why isn't she with us in Nord?"

A/N: So, what do you think? What's wrong with Libitina? Why is she in Sud? What do you think of the past alpha and present alpha with just hearing about what they've done.
