Bullseye let loose the knife he was throwing up towards James' throat but was quickly swiped away by James' Vibro knife

"Quite a nice knife you have there, ill be sure to use it when you're dead, it's going to a good purpose." bullseye said with a smirk on his mouth

James seeing the cockiness of his opponent began to smirk under his helmet because he had an advantage none other do, his inventory where he still has his Weequay blastor pistol

Though James knew that he couldn't get a good shot off in this condition and was going to wait for the right opportunity to present itself and it will with how cocky Bullseye is

Natasha heard the sounds of James' blaster and couldn't help but sigh and get angry at him for disobeying orders,

"That bloody idiot, he's getting an earful if he manages to survive, the whole compound is going to be on us we have to move quickly." Natasha then went to use the communicator in her ear but found only static," and it seems they've enabled a jammer already, they're far too organised for this to be a simple drug operation."

"You did say a distraction, it worked all the guards are rushing towards the mountain now, though it might not have been the best way but we should get out of here quickly I don't have a good feeling about this." cap then got down on one knee and held up his shield

Natasha thought about abandoning the mission but decided that it was still worth it to burn all the drugs, some guards stationed at the warehouse started to notice them near the warehouse and were getting ready to open fire though she was resolute to finish what they were ordered to do so she once again hopped up to the window with a boost from cap using his shield and broke the window

She dropped a small pellet down into the stack of plants, bullets began to rip through the air towards them, cap threw his shield to Natasha to block the ones heading her way while he dived behind a crate

After they paused shooting to reload Natasha used that time to shoot darts at them while the captain rushed towards the closet one to him and subdued him to move on to the next using his hand-to-hand expertise to quickly strike them using his strength to knock them out cold

Once finished Natasha jumped down and handed Captain America his shield back and continued to try to get James back

Natasha's priority was to keep James alive an objective given to her by nick fury as he had information on space and new technology, but they still wanted to test and use him to see all his secrets

Natasha quickly left with Captain America planting pellets along their root through the fields this time not caring about being caught and knocking the guards out along the way with either Cap throwing his shield or Natasha using her darts

They were making their way back to the Quinn jet to quickly leave before they get surrounded by the small army guarding the compound

As they made their way back the constant sound of the blaster reached their ears like it was never-ending

"I hope he's alright it sounds like a tough battle, we need to get over there asap" Captain America sound looking into the distance where the constant flashes of red lit the night sky

"We need to secure the Quinn jet first otherwise we would just get surrounded by him, then we can reinforce him and quickly leave here with that idiot."

Closing in on the position of James with the Quinn jet they could see people running away

"It seems he's not doing too bad for himself if people are running away," Natasha commented while she piloted further up the mountain searching between the trees for where James was as she could no longer see or hear his blastor

"Let's hope he is alright they had a small army here, enough to overwhelm many good men," Captain America said while the memories of a man came to his mind but he quickly shook that off and refocused on the objective of saving James," head over more to the right is where the majority are running from."

Natasha then piloted following Captain America's suggestion but all of a sudden she wiped the Quinn jet to the left as a massive bolder could be seen hurtling towards them through the cockpit window

Natasha managed to dodge in time as the bolder only scraped against the wing of the plane, damaging the reflective panels and keeping them invisible

"How did they know where we were?" the captain shouted as he braced for impact seeing another bolder coming in their direction

"They must have heard us since we were piloting low to the ground," Natasha said trying her best to move the Quinn jet out of the way

This was however futile as she pulled up trying to get out of its path and the range of any further rocks being thrown at them but the bolder scraped the underside of the quinjet causing it to start to smoke and lose altitude.

With the loss in altitude what was catapulting bolder came into view, it was a metal man with a bald head laughing at the destruction he caused and was soon recognised by Natasha as someone on the shields watch list.

It was Carl Creel, also known as the Absorbing Man, he stands tall and menacing in his metallic lustre. His body glistens in the sunlight as he raises his massive arms, ready to hurl boulders at a jet flying overhead. His powers allow him to absorb the properties of anything he touches, making him nearly indestructible. His fists clenched tightly as he prepares to unleash his fury on the jet, determined to take it down at all costs. With each boulder he throws, the jet trembles under the force of his attack, Natasha's and Captain America's fate uncertain as the Absorbing Man continues his relentless assault.

As the jet trembles under the force of the Absorbing Man's attack, it becomes clear that it will not be able to withstand much more. Suddenly, the jet careens towards the ground, crashing into a fiery explosion. The Absorbing Man watches with a mixture of triumph and surprise as the wreckage smoulders before him.

As the dust begins to settle, two familiar figures emerge from the wreckage - Natasha Romanoff and Captain America. They are both wounded and bruised, but their determination is clear in their eyes. Natasha quickly assesses the situation and realizes that they are no match for the Absorbing Man's powers. Captain America, however, is not ready to give up yet.

"We have to take him down, whatever it takes," he says, his voice firm and resolute. knowing that James may not be able to hold on for long or has already fallen due to the disappearance of the blastor noises

Natasha nods, her mind racing as she comes up with a plan.

With the Absorbing Man standing victorious, Natasha and Captain America knew they had to come up with a new strategy. Natasha quickly pulled out her electric darts and fired them at the Absorbing Man, hoping to shock him into submission. But to her surprise, the Absorbing Man absorbed the electrical properties of the darts, becoming immune to their effects.

Captain America, seeing the Absorbing Man's new power, knew he had to act fast. He charged forward with his vibranium shield, hoping to take down the villain with its immense strength. But the Absorbing Man was too quick, he reached out and touched the shield, absorbing its properties and becoming stronger than ever before.

With his new abilities, the Absorbing Man fought back with a fury, effortlessly knocking both Natasha and Captain America to the ground. The two heroes were no match for the Absorbing Man's new powers and they were quickly defeated.

The Absorbing Man emerged victorious, his power increased by the properties of Captain America's vibranium shield. As he looked upon the defeated shield agents, he knew that he had become one of the most powerful beings in the world.

"Ahhh this feels good, I've felt a material like this before, even diamonds cant compare" Creel then walks over to Captain America's shield and rips a piece of it to use later keeping the chunk in his hand," what should I do with them, the boss did say to capture them alive and I'm sure they would be pleased with a super soldier to experiment with."
