Chapter 5: The Price of Control

The lady looked at Bran and said, "Looks like this is his house".

Bran looked at Alex's house and thought, 'I will quickly drop him in his house then'. While saying this, he looked at the lady with a lecherous gaze.

Seeing his gaze, the lady's face turned red. She didn't know how this happened; she was going for shopping when she met him on her way.

After that, things got crazy for her; just after spending 1 hour with him, she found herself naked, standing behind the bushes in the park.

She didn't realise how this happened, it was like her mind was controlled. She just listened to whatever Bran said. She didn't understand it her self how she agreed to do something like that behind bushes.

And that also in border daylight, inside a park. She didn't think anyone in their right mind would agree to it, but she did.

She was lost in her thoughts.

Bran came to Alex's house door and knocked on the door. After a few seconds, someone opened the door from inside.

Until now, bran was feeling irritated, but seeing the woman who had opened the door, all his irritations vanished; he forgot about his thought of dropping Alex in his house and quickly going away.

He looked toward the mature woman standing in front of him and said, "he'll madam, myself bran". While saying this he had a wide grin on his face, but Rim completely ignored him and looked toward Alex.

She quickly took Alex from the stranger in front of her and took him to the hall; she quickly came to the sofa in the hall and put Alex there.

Then she quickly used her powers on Alex and tried to check if he had a problem; she found no problem inside Alex. She sighed, she almost had a heart attack seeing Alex unconscious.

She quickly took a healing potion out of the thin air and fed it to Alex. She tried to feed it to Alex but as he was unconscious, he couldn't drink it.

Seeing the situation in front of her, she only had one idea in her mind. But when she thought about this idea her mind told her it was not a good idea, while her heart agreed with it.

She was stuck between a hard choice should she do it, or she shouldn't. Her mind told her it was wrong, while her heart told her to do it.

At last, her heart won. She looked at Alex's face for a few seconds before she drank the healing potion and kissed Alex.

Using her lips and tongue, she guided the healing potion inside Alex's mouth; after she transferred all the potion into Alex's body, she pulled her face back.

Her face was coloured red; her mind told her the consequences of her actions. She couldn't tell if she had done the right thing, she just followed her heart.

When Alex started growing up, he became more mature and started losing his childness. She realised her feelings for Alex were a little different from what she thought.

And when she saw him naked on his 18th birthday she realised she loved him, not as a child but as a man.

From that day onwards, she had suppressed her feelings for Alex; she knew this was wrong, but her heart didn't listen to her. But somehow she always controlled herself.

But today, She didn't know what changed, but seeing Alex unconscious, she couldn't control herself. She realised the step she had taken now could potentially change her and Alex's relationship, the way they act with each other, Their position in each other's life.

While she was lost in her thoughts she forgot about the stranger on her house door.

Bran was still standing at the entrance of the house; he was shocked for a few minutes seeing the mature woman's reaction. Then he thought it might be because she saw Alex unconscious.

She should have panicked seeing Alex unconscious and forgot about him. While he was lost in thinking, the lady came near him and said, "You have already handed Alex to that woman. Now let's continue where we left off".

Hearing her words, bran awoke from his thoughts, looked toward her, and said, "Well, now I am not in the mood. You should go to your house" Saying this, he ignored the lady.

Hearing Bran's words, the lady awoke; she didn't realise why she was asking something like this for Bran; she didn't know what had happened to her. She quickly ran away.

She didn't want to lose her mind again and do something that she might regret later on.

Seeing the lady run away, bran realised his skill effect had worn off her; she had regained full control of her body. But now he had acquired his new target, he didn't need her anymore.

He looked at the house entrance and thought something before entering the house. He came to the hall and saw the mature lady sitting beside the sofa, lost in thought.

His focus was fully on the mature lady; he completely ignored Alex on the sofa. He failed to notice the flicker in Alex's eyes.

He just stared at the mature lady. He slowly moved toward her and tried to hold her shoulder, but suddenly, a hand appeared and blocked him. When he looked at the owner of the hands, he saw Alex.

A few seconds ago...

Alex's eyes flickered a little before he woke up; he got up and looked around him; he found himself in his house hall. Suddenly, He noticed a man trying to touch Rim's shoulder.

See the scene in front of him. His body moved on its own and blocked the man's hands. He looked toward the man and realised he was the naked person he saw in the bushes of the park.

His expression changed, as he remembered Origin words and realised that the person in front of him was a protagonist.

He looked toward the man and asked, "Who are you, and what are you doing here?".

Hearing Alex's words, Rim awoke from her deep thoughts; she looked around and saw that Alex had woken up and the stranger who brought Alex was standing beside her.

Seeing the stranger standing near her, she moved aside and came beside Alex and asked in a confused tone, "What is happening".

Hearing her words Alex looked toward her and said, "I just woke up and saw this Stanger standing beside you while you were lost in deep thoughts".

Hearing his last words made Rim a little embarrassed; she looked at Alex and said, "Well, he is the person who brought you home when you were unconscious".

"Ignore all those useless things; first, tell me why you lost your consciousness. Did you eat something or have any problem?".

Alex looked at Rim and said while smiling, "Well, no problem just awaked my talent".

Hearing his words, Rim became excited. She quickly asked, "You awaked your talent, when and what it is".

Alex was about to answer Rim's question when they heard a coughing sound. They looked toward where the sound came from they saw the stranger.

They almost forgot about this stranger; Rim quickly got up, looked at the stranger, and said, "Thank you for bringing Alex home".

Saying this, she turned around and looked toward Alex and said, "You should go and escort him to the door".

Saying this, she rushed to the kitchen, leaving Alex and the stranger alone. Alex looked toward the stranger and said, "Do I need to show you the door, or will you go your self".

Hearing Alex's words, bran looked toward Alex and said, "Well, child, I just saved your life".

Hearing his words, Alex said, "And I saw what you did in the bushes".

Hearing Alex's words, bran didn't shy away but looked at him with a big smile; his eye colour changed as he looked into Alex's eyes and said, "I will do the same with that mature lady, and you will help me".

Saying this he walked toward the kitchen. He failed to notice the killing that had appeared in Alex's eyes the moment he said those words.

Bran thought his mind control skill had worked on Alex that's why he was not moving. While he was walking towards the kitchen he suddenly felt pain. When he looked downward he saw a sword had pierced his stomach.

Blood was coming out of it, and he was slowly losing his body control; he forced his head to look backwards and saw Alex standing behind him, Alex's hand held the sword that had pierced his stomach.

He saw the killing intent in Alex's eyes; seeing those bloody eyes sent sewers throughout his body. He didn't even realize who he had provoked before he died.
