Caught Edo

Merlin, along with Boruto and Mitsuki continued their search for the infiltrators. They look around while Boruto and Mitsuki show her around the village. While they look around they hear someone call them from behind. They all turn around and see Shikadai, Sarada, and ChōChō walking towards them. "What are you guys doing?" Shikadai says. "I didn't think we would run into you guys." Boruto says. "What are you guys up to?" ChōChō asks but Boruto stutters trying to give an excuse so Merlin steps in to help. "They're showing me around the village." Merlin says before walking to the kids. "Who is this?" Sarada asks. "My name is Merlin. It's a pleasure to meet you." Merlin says while sticking her hand out. Sarada reciprocates and shakes Merlin's hand. They all walk together and talked while showing Merlin around the village. After a long walk, they all decide to stop by Lightning Burger to rest. "Man, I'm tired from all that walking." ChōChō says before sitting down and everyone else sat as well. "I didn't get a chance to ask this while we were walking but why did you come to The Hidden Leaf?" Shikadai asks which makes Boruto pause from eating his burger. "That's a good question. Why did you come to the village?" Boruto asks. Merlin looks at the food with confusion before she turns to them. "I'm looking for some friends of mine who went missing a while back." she replies. "Went missing? So you came here looking for them?" Sarada asks. "Yes, I came here in search of them and because of a misunderstanding, I got into a little scuffle with the leader you call the Hokage and his friend." Merlin replies. "You fought the Hokage?!" Shikadai asks with shock in his voice to which Merlin nods. "I eventually got everything cleared up and here I am now however I am wasting a lot of time being here." Merlin says. "What do you mean?" Mitsuki asks. "My friends I'm looking for aren't in this village so I am wasting a lot of time by sitting here." Merlin explains. "Do you plan to leave soon?" Mitsuki asks again. "Yes, I do plan to leave once I'm done helping Naruto with their infiltration problem." Merlin says which confuses the other kids. "Infiltration problem?" they all say at the same time while Boruto tries to signal to her to not tell them. "Yes, they currently have a little pest that got in so I'm assisting them with removing it." Merlin explains. "Is it some kind of bug." Shikadai asks. "You could say that." Merlin replies.

Merlin finishes her food before standing up. "It was great meeting you all but we should get going. Come on boys." Merlin says before walking away and Boruto and Mitsuki follow behind her. "I wonder what they're up to?" Shikadai says. "I don't trust those three being alone together." ChōChō says. "That sure was entertaining but we should probably go back to work." Merlin says. "I guess so." Boruto agrees. "So, where do we start?" Mitsuki asks and Merlin stops too which they both turn to her and looked at her with confusion. Merlin stood there for a moment with her eyes closed before opening them and walking forward. "Found her." she said. "Found who?" Boruto asks. "The infiltrator." Merlin replies. "Wait what?!" Boruto says before all of them suddenly teleports.

Shi-no watches the village from a distance. She watches the buildings and the people walking around. She just stares at them when her mentor calls her down. She turns around and looks at the old man. "What do you want Edo?" Shi-no asks. "You must stay patient Shi-no. Come back to our hideout. We can prepare for our infiltration." Edo replies. "I won't be sitting around in that disgusting cave just because you want to "Be careful". I can take care of myself without you." Shi-no says before disappearing. "Why is she our most powerful weapon?" Edo says after sighing and disappeared.

He appears inside the cave and walks down a corridor when suddenly his left foot got stuck in something. He looks down and sees ice holding him down. "What?!" Edo says before suddenly being encased inside of a large cube. "Who's there?!" Edo yells and then Merlin, Mitsuki, and Boruto appear inside. "Where are we?" Boruto says before noticing the old man. "Is that the guy that infiltrated the village." Boruto asks before Merlin walks forward. "No, it was a woman that infiltrated the village so he is just her accomplice." Merlin replies. "Who are you?!" Edo shakingly asks. "Who I am is irrelevant, We are here to find the woman who infiltrated the village and I'm sure you have the information we need." Merlin says.
