Mission PT-4

"Is this it? They went in." Mizuki whispered in Sasaki's ear as the family inside their home, "How long are we going to wait?"

Their home was a two-floor house, a typical Japanese house for a small family. No one would believe it if someone told them it was a house of two Espers.

"Let's move!" Sasaki waved his hand toward the house, and both of them started walking towards the house.

Both of them were just outside their door while Sasaki rang the bell Mizuki was ready to take out his dagger from his sleeves, they had planned to kill whoever comes come first before entering the house.

*Ting*

*Ting*

"Coming! Just a second."

The door slowly opened an adult male came out of the door. He noticed two six years old kids at the doorsteps, he looked at them with confused expressions.

"What ar-"

"Do it!" Sasaki glanced at Mizuki as he was supposed to be his target, "I won't help you in this."

"You just rush things too fast." Mizuki walked in front of the Esper with a normal kid-like expression, "I will handle this so you just do your job."

Mizuki pulled out a dagger from his sleeves and tried to pierce his stomach, he dashed with his dagger and attacked him.

The Esper dodged the attack at a very high speed and managed to kick Mizuki directly on his stomach within a span of a second. Mizuki crashed into the wall on his back while Sasaki was still looking at him with an indifferent expression.

"What do you two want? I don't think I have done anything for this hostility." He backed out two steps and went on alert mode, "Just leave!"

"Hell-blaze!"

Hellblaze is a dark power connected to the darkness of the Demon Realm. It allows the user to generate and control black flames that cannot be extinguished. In addition to its immensely devastating power, the flames also nullify any regenerative abilities including that of an immortal.

A sword made out of hell-blaze formed in Mizuki's hand and swung at the Esper at a very fast speed. The dark flaming sword size grew and it was directly coming at his body.

The Esper's eyes widened as the flaming sword was about to him, he tried to leap above using his super high speed to dodge the flame. He lept at a very high speed when his four limbs were grabbed by a long tongue pulling him down while he was leaping.

"Toad!"

Sasai had made hand signs for the toad and four toads that emerged from shadows and grabbed the Esper's four limbs with their long and powerful tongue while he was mid-air.

The sword made of Black fire cut his body in half mid-air, and the flames started to burn his body.

Black flames burned his body to the last drop of his blood, not a single drop of blood spilled from his body. His dead body started burning from the hell-blaze turning into nothing.

"I thought you were not going to help me" Mizuki as he stood up after swinging the flaming sword, "What changed your mind?"

"His ability was probably speed-related, It would have been troublesome to defeat him so I took him by surprise." Sasaki as he walked into the house along with Mizuki.

Sasaki moved in without making any sound, he tried to be as quiet as possible while moving inside. He looked into the rooms for them and found two of them in the kitchen.

"Can you do it on your own?" Mizuki whispered in his ears, "I can help you if you want."

Sasaki waved his hand, he was ready for a battle with these two on his own and he didn't have any fear of death in this battle.

"Rabbits!"

Sasaki made a handsign and a wave of rabbits emerged out of the shadows and rushed towards those two. The rabbit worked as a source of distraction to strike a blow.

"Huh!"

Two people inside the room were taken aback by the swarm of rabbits that filled the room.

"Orochi!"

A giant serpent was summoned inside the room and went to bite the distracted women in the room while Sasaki was keeping an eye on the kid.

"Huh! Wha-"

Orochi bit her body, devouring half of her body in one fell swoop, she died without even realizing what just happened.

But the red dot was still there on the map, the little boy didn't even know what just transpired here until the time he knew it was all over. The body was the other Esper.

"Sasaki, You will need to kill that boy." Mizuki whispered in his ears while grabbing his head slightly and turning it towards the boy, "Can you even do it? I don't think you would be able to."

Sasaki looked at the boy's Expression but as he looked his expression, he was shocked.

Instead of crying and being scared, he was grinning while looking at the dead body.

Mizuki in himself frowned as he noticed the boy's Expression, he was feeling as if his eyes were playing tricks on him. So, he rubbed his eyes to double check but the same result.

"Are you sure this kid is normal? I feel creeped out right now." Mizuki stated as he looked at the kid.

Sasaki himself couldn't believe it was the same kid from before when he saw him at the supermarket. He looked loving and a kind kid who cared about others but the kid right now looked like a complete psychopath.

He slowly walked towards the kid and leaned towards him while taking a proper look at his face.

He slowly wrapped his hand around his neck and clutched his neck.

"Ack!"

The kid started trembling and tried resisting for a while and as his life was getting close to its end something unexpected happened.

Sasaki, and Mizuki, could feel the room temperature going high, and the blood inside their body started to boil.

'What the hell? This room is too hot all of a sudden, I can feel its temperature just crossed 100 degrees celsius.'

Mizuki rushed out of the room to take a breather while Sasaki let go of the kid's neck.

But the room temperature kept on increasing and the room started burning from the increase in temperature of the room, the air started to rush out breakings all the glass present in the room.

The kid before him seem unaffected by the change whatsoever as he was simply staring at him.

'How hot should the room be by now, I can see the water changing to vapor.'

'Should I kill him now? and get this over with.'

He went to grab his neck but when he touched his body and noticed an inch away from his body was at normal room temperature while the whole room was scorching hot.

'Temperature control!'

*Boom*

*Boom*

*Baam*

The utensils and electrical types of equipment in the house started to blast one after the other, the house was almost done.

'My body hurts, I want to scream.'

*Baam*

Sasaki punched the kid so hard on his face that he landed on a bookshelf and passed out with a nosebleed.

Sasaki quickly grabbed him and left the house, It was beyond his help, the house was destined to destroy.

As Sasaki jumped out of the house as it blasted away with nothing but ash left of it with the materials scattered all over the area.

"What took you so long? I thought you planned on staying there for the rest of your life." Mizuki took a long breather as he saw Sasaki walk out of the house but frowned as he noticed that kid knocked unconscious on his shoulder, "But why do you have that kid with you? You did kill him, right?"

Mizuki didn't want to believe that kid was alive and wished that he was not planning on doing what he was thinking.

"He is still alive, I just knocked him out." Sasaki as he started to walk away from the place as people would soon start to gather from the loud sound due to the explosion just now.

"Don't tell me, are you planning on taking him to that world with you?" Mizuki was drenched in sweat as he asked him the question, "I know you wouldn't do something so reckless anyway, as that's just suicide."

Sasaki glanced at Mizuki while giving him a smug look and as he saw his expression, Mizuki's heart started beating so hard that it could be heard outside.

"You won't, right?"

"Why wouldn't I? If he accepts my offer."

Mizuki was expressionless as he couldn't think of just what Expression he should be making right now. He blankly followed him thinking of the condition for bringing someone to that world from this quest.

The condition was etched into their brains and It was something that no one would even dare to attempt if they were in their right mind at this point in time.

'This mission would be like a filter and we won't be going to another world again but the mission would take place in the world of one piece. So, we were given the opportunity to bring someone if we fulfilled just one condition.'

It was to kill a hundred thousand humans or a hundred Esper within the span of a week.

Espers were rare in this world but finding a total of a hundred of them and killing them within a span of a week was impossible to accomplish a job and even if they managed to find it what could a six years old do with their powers still underdeveloped.

"I think you forgot the condition for that." Mizuki as she gave himself self-assurance, "That has to be it."

"Don't give yourself false hope, partner!" Sasaki gave him an evil grin as he turned to look at him, "You won't leave me alone for the hunt, right?"

Mizuki slapped himself on his cheeks and stopped with his cry baby act, he knew he should have something in his mind to pull it off.

"You must have something in mind, I am in!"

Mizuki had always been with Sasaki throughout his life and they both thought of each other as a family and supported him every time no matter what so there was no way he was backing out even if he died.

"There is forty percent chance of our success if we manage to gather all those people in one place." Mizuki entered an abandoned building and put the kid off his shoulder on the ground, "It could as well be a hundred percent our victory as I don't know if this would be a perfect move or not."

"You do have a plan so what is it, spit it out." Mizuki sat down on the broken car parked inside the building.

"Just listen to my fucking awesome plan," Sasaki replied to Mizuki, "I think you might like it."

"This plan just might work but what if we easily kill all those Espers and that thing still doesn't settle down after that," Mizuki with a concerned expression, "I don't think the city would survive if we succeed easily."

Sasaki placed his hand on his chin, giving it a thought, "Then, It would be a massacre of the whole city," He closed his eyes, "Maybe a nuclear missile would be dropped to stop the massacre."

Mizuki started to think and as he thought of that he couldn't help but frown, "We might as well be finishing a hundred Espers with more than a million humans as a bonus."

Sasaki had a small smile on his face, "Everything would turn out for good, just chill."

Mizuki furrowed his brows and remainder Sasaki, "Less likely, This plan will work for sure but I am worried about what would happen next."

"I think you are Overestimating the plan," Sasaki tried to make him chill, "There's no way, It's a hundred Espers we are talking about."

"Hahaha, very funny." Mizuki as he looked at Sasaki, "This plan could give Satoru Gojo a run for his money and you are telling me that I am overestimating this plan."

Sasaki made a serious expression and asked, "Are you in for it or not?"

"I am in." Mizuki heaved a long and deep sigh, "It's the Government problem after we are done with Esper."

Mizuki and Sasaki shook their hands as they discussed their plans.
