Mission PT-3

Sasaki kept glancing at his watch as he sipped his coffee and scanned his surroundings. He was looking at everyone in the building, hoping to identify a peculiar figure amid the hundreds of people.

He was in the city's largest supermarket. He just happened to stroll down the path after extorting money and ended up at the supermarket. As he walked through the supermarket, he noticed two red dots...

...His desire for prizes drew him into the supermarket.

"It will be nearly impossible to find a single person among the hundreds. What should I do next?" Sasaki took another sip of coffee, 'Consider your options! Think! '

Sasaki kept tapping his fingers on the table while looking around for one of the two Espers. It was as if he was looking for a needle in a pile of bushes, yet it sat well with him.

"Would you mind if I sat here, Kid?" There are no empty seats here, and you appear to be taking up four seats.

Sasaki cast a glance at the woman in front of her. She looked like a woman in her early thirties. She had a tiny child, about the same age as Sasaki, who was holding her hands.

"I don't mind, but I won't be leaving my seat, however, you can pick an empty one." Sasaki straightened his back and motioned for her to take the empty chair, "I don't own this place anyways."

He was sitting on the third floor of the four-story supermarket. He chose and sat at a seat that allowed him to see the entire supermarket.

He was bored as his gaze shifted to the woman and kid in front of him. They appeared to be a happy family, which was everyone's dream.

"I'll feed you ice cream, too, Mama." The kid gave a bright cheerful smile," Say aah!"

"Aah!" She opened her mouth wide as the child took a scoop of ice cream and fed it to her.

While they were eating ice cream, she spotted Sasaki peeking at them. She had a bright smile on her face as she looked at him.

"Can you tell me your name, kid?"

"No, can't do it!" Sasaki turned around to look at the woman on her face, "I don't see a point in it."

"If you tell me your name, I'll buy you some ice cream." She paused for a second, "Don't you want some?"

Sasaki glanced at the strawberry-flavored ice cream they were both having. He knew she said that after noticing him peering at them, but he wasn't interested in the ice cream or doing anyone a favor. He unconsciously peeked at them.

"I could place an order If I wanted some but didn't get any." Sasaki replied to the woman," it means I'm not interested in those."

'One of them is an Esper, the distance is too near in the map.'

Sasaki ignored her and resumed his normal table tapping and staring out the window. He considered following the red dot after it left the establishment. It would be simpler to drive it into the corner.

In the worst-case scenario, I'll be dead. It can't get any worse than that, therefore I don't care if that person is more powerful than me.'

Sasaki couldn't help but smile as he pressed his lips together. His plan was great according to his calculations, but he then began to consider various possibilities that could occur.

What if some of our classmates are present? And that happened to be the one who had the ability to extract his soul.

What if that person has linked up with someone else? in order to bring down an Esper.

Sasaki shook his head and brushed such ideas aside. It would have been possible after a few more days, but the players have only been here for a day.

Unconsciously, Sasaki gazed at them again and observed the kid's ice cream had melted and had already turned into liquid due to the extended time outside.

He stood up and walked to the front counter to pay the bills. He withdrew a $10 cash from his wallet and paid for the coffee he had just purchased.

He opted to wait near the supermarket's exit since he had uncovered no information about one of the two Espers and It was better tact to wait outside than inside.

His gaze drifted back to the previous parent and child combo, who were still scooping and eating ice cream.

'I should start moving; I don't have much time here.'

Sasaki exited the third floor and walked the stairs to the second floor. The second floor was packed with stores selling everything from apparel to electronics.

Sasaki was stood there on the side looking at everyone passing through, searching for someone suspicious or a lone child of his age who might possibly be his classmate.

He was checking his surroundings quickly. His eyes darted from one corner to the next, gathering and updating the information he gathered from his eyesight.

A blade popped out of the sleeve of the person's hand, directly pointed at his neck, as he noticed his neck being wrapped by someone.

Sasaki raised both of his hands, signaling that he had surrendered and would not attempt any funny tricks.

'I was snuck on, but based on who he was and the size of his arms, he appeared to be my age.'

"I believe you understand that this tiny technique will not work on him; I have an indestructible body." Sasaki tried turning his head slowly,"No need for bloodshed here in public."

Sasaki was slightly pierced by the dagger as he tried to move around to look at the person's face.

Sasaki chuckled as those tricks failed to work on him. It would heal in a split second. However, a quarter minute elapsed with no trace of healing from his body.

'It's not working, and I'm not sure why.' Inside, Sasaki began shouting and terrified, but he didn't show it outside.

You perish if you move. You perish if you make a sound. Put your hands in your pockets if you understand.

Sasaki put his hand in his pocket and listened to him for the time being. He began to recollect all of the actions that may possibly harm him.

'If this isn't Rinnegan, what is it?'

"It appears as if you have forgotten about me." In a disappointed voice, "Did you forget about your sole remaining ally?" the dagger was backed away a few inches, "Your cousin connected to you by blood"

Sasaki smiled as he heard his statement, and now he remembered who he was talking to, and he even felt relieved to have him here this time.

"Ah! Mizuki, it's just you! I'm amazed to have been fooled by you of all people."

Mizuki had a creepy grin on his face, as did Sasaki as he turned to look Mizuki in the eyes. He could see his crimson red eyes and short black hair unlike his.

"I never expected to be duped by the only person in this world in whom I have faith, my only cousin and last remaining friend." Sasaki with a grin while looking at him, "I should be the one disappointed here."

Mizuki drew his dagger and tucked it under his sleeve like a seasoned assassin. He looked more powerful than the last he saw him in the classroom. He was good fighter than Sasaki as he got into fights pretty often.

"What have you been up to these months? You're skilled at sneak attacks."

Mizuki leaned against the wall, closed his eyes for a second, and sighed heavily. He didn't want to tell him about his time there.

"After being reincarnated, I joined the revolutionary army and learned how to handle swords and other weapons. Hehe!" Mizuki slowly closed his eyes, "I am learning to fight with pro, this much is expected.'

The Revolutionary army raised and taught children to be strong for the organization's future. They had done so with many others, but not against their will, such as Sabo, who had been saved by the dragon and eventually became commander of the revolutionary army.

In comparison to their forces in battle and every other field except swimming, Sasaki's pirate crew were like bugs. It was like Mizuki learning from pro while Saski was busy ith gang battles for their training.Sasaki

Sasaki along with Mizuki made their way to the first floor.

"You are incredibly lucky to have been given such opportunity." Sasaki as he walked down the stairs while talking to Mizuki," You must be one of the fortunate few to have been given such a chance to train with the revolutionary army."

"I believe the gods have sent us all to different places, but each of us with different opportunities to get stronger," Mizuki stated as he waved his hand,"I think we were sent to own places but It will depend on us to rise in power."

Mizuki trailed Sasaki out of the building, mumbling things that he utterly disregarded.

"How come you're still following me?" He waved his hand and rolled his eyes, "Get away from me already,"

"Is this how you address the lone friend who stuck with you despite all odds?" Mizuki replied to Sasaki, "I even joined the group like you requested me to, so I can betray them at the perfect time."

"I believe you should not say these things in public." Sasaki heaved a sigh as he replied to him,"What if someone listens?"

"We'll simply kill them." Mizuki in a carefree tone," With both of our abilities combined, I don't think anyone will survive."

Sasaki exited the building and moved up to the long, empty seat, where he sat, with Mizuki following behind.

"Killing people in our world should not be taken lightly, Mizuki. "Sasaki cracked his knuckles,"We're simply here to kill Esper," Sasaki replied as he looked at his watch, "nothing else."

"That was a good one." Mizuki let out a hearable chuckle, "Haven't we murdered four individuals in this world before we even knew what summoning was?"

Sasaki came to a halt and fixed his gaze on Mizuki. Sasaki covered his grin with his hand as he remembered the events of that day,"I deemed them unfit to live, and that's enough reason to kill them."

"You're simply simply making things up; we're the same, and it's rotten to the core."

"I couldn't agree with you more. We are both comparable in that regard, yet there are some things for which we are willing to lose our lives for."

Mizuki raised his head and gazed up at the blue sky. He agreed with him with a gentle smile. He took a few deep breaths before responding.

"You're right, we're fairly similar in that regard as well." After Sasaki dropped his smirk, Mizuki continued, "You still haven't forgotten about that day, and you even seem to enjoy remembering it."

"I suppose." While speaking with him, Sasaki glanced at his watch. He spotted two red spots coming out of the mall, and they appeared to be in close proximity to each other.

"Are you going to attack them?" After the red dots began to depart the mall, Mizuki observed him watching the exit and whispered, "I will join you in this one if you are going to fight."

"Sure! You get to pick who you wish to kill. I'll go with the other option."

Sasaki didn't mind if one of his allies took the kill; it would only benefit him and help him if the opponent was stronger.

Sasaki saw a group of individuals exiting the mall at the same time as the red dot on his watch's screen. He immediately recognized two of them since they were eating ice cream in front of him, but there was an adult male with them.

"One must be the adult male who is most likely the child's father, and the other must be one of them from the mother or son." Sasaki examined them and drew conclusions based on the information he gleaned from them and thought,'So It is a family of Esper's.'

"How can you be confident of one of them?" Mizuki responded, glancing around at the family, "But never mind! Are you certain about this?"

Sasaki only nodded and stared at them. The family passed them, and he and Mizuki began to follow them, keeping a safe distance to avoid appearing suspicious. Who would suspect a two or six-year-old?

Mizuki cast a glimpse at Sasaki's unaffected expression as they stalked them, his dark eyes fixed on them. "We'll be killing two of them, and one will have to live their life in agony, and what if the survivor is the child?"

Sasaki's feet came to a halt as he turned around, glaring at Mizuki for letting him deal with his feelings in this scenerio. He didn't enjoy it at all, and it was mostly just Mizuki teasing him.

"From there, you'll kill the father. I'll handle the other two."

"..." Mizuki blinked twice after hearing Sasaki's comments. He expected him to back down after hearing that, but he removed the option he gave him for selecting the target.

"When do you plan to kill them? We've been watching them for a long time." Mizuki began to walk alongside Sasaki, "Are you going to their house or something?"

"Of course, we'll kill them when they get home." Sasaki nodded. "You give good suggestions about these topics, you were born to kill."

Sasaki and Mizuki followed them till they arrived at their homes and prepared to fight with them.
