The Last Supper

Moriarty Mansion, West Blue

Sabo sat in his assigned guestroom with a small den den mushi in the huge mansion that didn't lack living space. It has been three days since he has started staying with the Moriarty's and that was the cause of his moral dilemma. He couldn't help but recollect his interaction with Victor Moriarty before their supper on the day he arrived.

"Sabo, what are your dreams?" It was a simple question but he had to think a lot before answering his new 'Godfather'. How did that happen?

Well after his physical injuries were treated by Law, they walked through the halls of the mansion filled with many art pieces and relics. What he noticed among all these luxuries was a small family photo of Victor hugging Robin's waist while carrying little Nutella and Bepo on his huge shoulders. Law dressed in a neat suit was also standing in the picture stoically while Victor held his hand but there was a small smile on the corner of his face that he failed to hide. 

Sabo was still a little kid without memories of his past blurted out subconsciously, "A family" a decision that changed his life. He was not alone at the table as all the key members of the Moriarty family were also present in the dining room. Nico Robin, Law, Bepo, Sofia Sanchez, Gild Tesoro, Daz Bones, Zala, Stella, Nutella, Baby Moriarty, Sugar, and many others all stopped eating at looked at him simultaneously much to his embarrassment. He thought they would berate or scold him for stepping out of his bounds but nothing like that happened.

"Then be my son!" He remembers Victor's exact words as the enigmatic man looked at him dead in his eyes with utmost sincerity and seriousness. 

"Why? I am just an unknown kid whom you found in the streets. I could be a spy for all you know." Sabo couldn't help but ask questioningly. He was truly a spy sent by the Revolutionaries to gather information about Nico Robin but he didn't expect Victor to treat him so kindly. He couldn't help but wonder whether he was playing some tricks.

"I don't care. I can't let a child without his memories face the world alone in good conscience. Even if you want, I won't let a child go out in the world without a guardian."

"What if I reject your offer?" Sabo couldn't say that his guardian was the leader of the Revolutionary Army who was currently plotting against them. Well, he's technically Dragon's subordinate and not a family but he was still grateful to Dragon for saving him.

"Everyone is free to make their own choices Sabo. But I insist you stay with us until you regain your memories. Just let me know your decision before I sail so that I can make preparations for your stay."

"Thank you for your kindness, Mr. Moriarty. I'll let you know after some thought," Sabo picked up the piece of crucial information that he must relay to Dragon. It seems Victor was planning to set sail soon so they should act fast and try to recruit Miss Nico Robin.

"Mom!!Momm!! I also want to sail with you and Papa," Bepo who was sitting on Robin's lap said with his beady eyes trying to act cute.

"Stupid baka!! Did you forget your promise?" Law looked at his sworn brother Bepo in disbelief. They had vowed to form the 'Heart Pirates' and make a name for themselves without relying on Victor to prove their caliber. He didn't want to completely break away from his family but be like Aunt Sofia and Uncle Tesoro so that he could help Victor on equal footing for the final war everyone was aware of. The battle in hopes of revenge against the true culprits behind the demise of his hometown, his parents, and his late sister Lami. 

"Ohh the promise..." Little Bepo who suddenly remembered his brotherly vows was instantly put a dilemma. He wants to become a strong warrior of the sea and bring true justice to this world one day with Law but he also wants to enjoy sailing with his newfound family and have grand adventures.

Nico Robin looked at her kids with a helpless smile, they are growing up so fast and already have formed their own dreams and ambitions. She playfully squished Bepo's chubby cheeks and said in a motherly tone, "We'll wait for you kids in the first half of the Grand Line so keep training hard and enjoy your childhood until you turn 17. Law since you are the eldest, I hope you will take care of your younger siblings and complete your education." They were currently studying at the BlackRock Public Academy that had kindergarten to College level education and others including Baby, Sugar, and Nutella would soon join them as new transfer students. Hopefully, Sabo too.

"I also want to use this opportunity to announce the new Mayor of Blackrocks will be my dear friend Sofia Sanchez. This marks a new chapter for us as it will fully integrate the Syndicate Territory under one joint administration," Victor said as he raised his glass of wine to Sofia as the table burst into cheers and congratulations. 

"Let's show the World our true strength guys," Sofia said with gusto as they cheered by clinking glasses to show support and unity of their little alliance that had evolved into familial bonds over these years.

The next day

[Room~Curtain]

Inside the huge Moriarty Training ground, Law and Sofia were currently sparring with Victor's clone as he used his devil fruit powers and tried to defend Victor's haki-infused punch. A barrier was formed which absorbed most of the impact but it still shattered with the raw power.

[Disillusion Granade] Sofia used this opening to throw a smoke bomb that struck Victor on his face and burst into smoke. Once hit it will affect the opponent's five senses, Victor who was surprised by her new powers was stunned momentarily before he stopped breathing the smoke. Meanwhile, Law with a sword and Sofia with her gun performed a synchronized combo attack. 

[Radio Knife~ Blinding]

Victor momentarily lost his vision but using his Observation he ducked backward as Law's sword attack and Sofia's haki-infused bullet missed the target and exploded in the background. 

[Divine Healing] Victor activated his newfound powers completely healing his debuffs and he teleported behind Sofia with a villainous smirk with a light construct sword appearing out of thin air and sliced off her neck. Unsurprisingly, the sword passed through her as if she was made of butter.

"Neat trick!! But you need to try harder." Sofia's voice emerged from behind Victor whose danger sense started tingling. [SenseLag] Allowed her to create a sense of illusion by showing the opponent visions of 5 seconds into the future.

[Room- Shambles]

Law also teleported himself with a rock near Victor as they tried another deadly combo attack. Victor who noticed their attacks using Observation, coated his arms with haki and hassoken as he punched in the air startling both of them as they flew back with a loud thud.

"I am not even trying Sofia, let's see how much you both have improved." Victor's eyes started to glow as his figure began to enlarge and four wings appeared on his back. 

[Hybrid Angel Form] In this state, all his stats gained a massive boost. He began to teleport all over the arena as multiple afterimages were visible and Victor started laughing like an evil villain.

"What the.." Both of them said in shock as they tried to defend against his unpredictable attacks. 

"Stop running Old man!! Let me beat you up," Law said with newfound determination as he activated his devil fruit power and opened his room domain that spread throughout the arena.

While they were busy sparring, Victor had teleported inside his secret lab after his call with Gion as he prepared for the proxy war. This time he would be facing very strong opponents but this was also a chance to further his plans of becoming a master of the shadows. The time has come to reveal his altered identity as Agent Harbour which would draw the World Government's and Revolutionary's attention away from his wife Robin. Since he can't show his true face he had prepared a plan to hide his identity.

His plan was simple, a raid suit inspired by Germa Technology was a special, technologically enhanced outfit designed for combat. It was his initial design which looked like a carbon copy of King's suit with which he plans to reveal his Lunarian identity as bait. Was it underhanded? Yes. Will it cause trouble for King? Yes. Does he care? No. He pressed a switch as a black canister with a blue flame design emerged from the ground encased in a cylindrical glass enclosure. This was his best creation after Duplicator which can clone Devil Fruits, his initial raid suit 'Angel One'.

Crafted from a cutting-edge shape-memory alloy, the Angel One was not only a formidable defense against physical attacks but also enhanced his Lunarian Physique. The suit's outer layer, resembling King's iconic attire, concealed a host of high-tech features aimed at empowering its wearer.

The core of the Inferno Veil's resilience lies in its unique composition. Victor had fused 43 elemental components to replicate the legendary Wapometal, resulting in a pseudo-Wapometal armor capable of withstanding the most ferocious attacks. Its shape-memory properties allowed the suit to adapt to the wearer's movements seamlessly, providing unparalleled flexibility in battle.

The true brilliance of the suit, however, lay in its mastery over fire. Adept at manipulating flames, Victor designed the suit to enhance the wearer's control over this primal force to an extraordinary degree. The amalgamation of cutting-edge technology and Lunarian prowess turned the Angel One into a weaponized extension of its user. He plans to make more upgrades in the future but for now, this is enough to level his playing field and also keep his true identity and strength hidden from the World.

"Let's go for a test drive baby!!" Victor said with a lewd smirk as he picked up the device and closed the lab for good. He has already stored his important research data storage drive in his dimensional space since he plans to create a new lab in his new base. A mechanical voice was heard as warning sirens began ringing on the isolated small island.
