The opening act

On the day of reception, I sent LIttle Moon to my mother's place as she wanted to dress her. Since this was just a small gathering to reveal our marriage to others officially we didn't plan on doing something over the top. I sent Mark and Jane with Little Moon while I had Adam and Su with me.

My head was not at ease, as I had initially selected a dress from a luxury brand but not in white. I wonder how she will look in the dress. Su who noticed my nervousness tried to talk to me and calm me down. I put on the tuxedo suit I bought and put on the special brooch as the highlight of my suit. Su also got ready in a black suit and I have to admit he looked taller and more handsome.

We went to the venue to see if everything was ready to open the exhibition. We had all the guests to arrive from a separate entrance to the reception area. The guest of honor was non-other than Mr.D. To my surprise, he was able to walk using an aid.

"George"

"MR.D.... sorry, Brother D. I am so happy to see you being able to walk. If you are tired let me know."

"You know I am a bit curious, why do you have your photographs covered?"

"This is a surprise, You know that curiosity never killed the cat," I said and Su came by my side.

"HI Su, you are here too," said Brother D.

I looked at them.

"I knew MR.D because we worked together on some game soundtracks about a year ago. And Mr.D, George is my best friend since our toddler years."

"What a small world," I said mocking him "And Su, this is Brother D my wife's elder brother."

We three laughter together and had a group hug. It's amazing how we all seem to relate to each other.

I was getting so impatient now, all the guests have arrived, and still no sign of Little Moon. I know my mother was planning something weird. But I hope she won't spoil the event.

"Sir they are here." While I went to get them, Su went to the piano to get ready for the entrance song.

The lights were dimmed and the reception room was filled with flowers, on one side there was a treats table with favor boxes and drinks. I had a few trusted media personals and a photographer arranged.

As I went to her, she looked so adorable in the dress I choose. With her curly hair loose, atoned with a flower and the brooch the signifies us. As I took her hand my nervousness went away. Suddenly when I looked around there was only us. I gave her a little kiss before entering the reception, where she will have a few surprises.

"Please welcome Mr.and Mrs. George," Kevin announced as we entered the hall. The soothing sound of the piano and the soft voice of Su captured everyone's attention. I lead Little Moon toward the piano, to listen to the song. I looked at her and her cheeks were blushed with pink that I couldn't resist giving her a little kiss and touch on her cheek.

Su's singing was mesmerizing. At the end of the song, he got up and came up to her and looked at her before giving her a bouquet of his wildflowers that matched her dress. She gave a simple little smile as a thank you to him.

Since we didn't plan to have a formal reception the guests were allowed to roam around after the initial introduction and enjoy their time. I looked around to see where my mom was. Then only I saw her talking happily with Brother D. The second surprise I had for my moony. After talking with a few guests I took her there.

"Little Moon, I have a surprise for you"

And she looked around to see Brother D standing in front of her. She was lost for words.

"HI my little Moon, You look so beautiful today." He hugged her tight and kissed her forehead. I can see the tears streaming down on his face. I patted him and motioned him to sit down as I was afraid he might collapse. At last, they both saw each other in five years. Giving them some space I took my mother to talk to some guests who have come.

Su came to me and took me aside and asked about the relationship between Mr.D and Little Moon. I briefly told him the story and that Mr.D had been in a wheelchair for five years and did everything he could to avoid seeing Little Moon. As he didn't want her to worry. So he made it a point to learn to walk again for this special day. Su was unable to believe this, but I told him that Mr.D still needs time to recover and plenty of rest and mental stability.

As planned the video of Su playing the song at our reception was captured beautifully with the ending by showing him offering flowers for her, which has gone viral. This has made a trending topic in entertainment. This was the time I asked Lee to uncover the big poster outside with the photography exhibition details.

"HER", it was time.

"I would like to invite everyone e to join the photography exhibition by Mr.Gerorge. TItled ""HER".

All the photos were uncovered one by one, a total of fifty photos only of my true love. I had captured all these during the two months I spent with her.

I hugged my Little Moon in front of everyone and said, "This is my special wedding gift for you. Do you see how beautiful you are? Cherish yourself, my love." ended it with a kiss.

"But you told me the exhibition is going to be about various photos you took while traveling."

"Where did I travel most of the recent years?"I asked her playfully.

"You!!!..."

Everyone loved the photos that I have captured of her. I mean she wasn't totally sure this was her, that she asked me a few times looking at them.

The time came for me to take her for my final surprise. So we bid goodbye to everyone and left the venue.
