Summary of the final exams pt1

The written exams were easy enough. Whether it be math or literature I crushed it. Though I didn't understand why we needed to take art. Why did Modern Art History even have a final exam? It was mostly about stuff before quirks and even then it was... I had questions about the art of that time. The history wasn't bad just the art...

We also had a written heroics exam with Snipe. Which was easy I guess, had some weird questions though. Now we just stood in prepared pairs for the actual physical heroic exams.

"Why were there so many Trolley problems! I hate TROLLEY PROBLEMS!" Erin had a extra exam with principal Nezu apparently. Apparently it was a morality and ethics exam. Erin was apparently paired with Ida and he had to deal with her decent into insanity.

I turned to my own partner for this test. "So Ochaco, thoughts on what we are gonna do?"

She jumped slightly turning to me. "Uh, well we are up against Thirteen right? Hmm if the pairs and teachers were selected based on varying factors. I think the first step would be figuring out how we were put together."

I knew why, Thirteen was a literal counter for me and Ochaco. Black holes absorb all energy and Ochaco makes thanks zero gravity. It becomes a question of how to run away rather then fight. After all it can be assumed if we get pulled to close to Thirteen we automatically lose.

"We were teamed up because of how Thirteen counters our quirks. Which means running would be better then fighting. Not to mention the the arena would be likely against us."

Ochaco nodded, "I didn't think about the environment. i think i saw Deku head to watch the cameras. We can easily come up with a plan in there just like out here."

That was true, what would be the downside of planning in there? "Recovery girl is in there right?"

Ochaco nodded, "Yeah so she can see if anyone needs healing."

I sighed, "She acts as a spy in this situation then, we can't discuss battle plans in there. She will likely be allowed to describe our plans."

Walking into the camera room Deku was already there. Analyzing the poor strategy of Eijiro and Sato. Running head first fit the two, but against Cementoss? That was a clear end.

"Hey you two, you come to watch the fights too?"

I looked at Deku, "Might as well we have plenty of time."

Watching each of the fights would be helpful. Ectoplasm was a interesting foe, Tokoyami struggled with close combat. Tsu was similar in a sense. The multiple foes provided a struggle for her. She had no real flaws however. Which meant the pair was solely based on the improvement of Tokoyami. I had to raise an eyebrow though when Ectoplasm made one huge clone.

"Oh no! how are they gonna win now?"

I looked to a second monitor Ida and Erin were heading to there starting point. Which meant me and Ochaco only really had 5-10 minutes? What could I figure out during that time. Deku and Ochaco cheered when Tsu and Tokoyami managed to capture Ectoplasm.

"Did she throw the cuffs up?" Could frogs do that? Wait how did her tongue worked?

I looked back at my teammate. Who was solely focused on Deku. I sighed, it seemed watching the cameras would be all I am doing. I wouldn't get much conversation out of my teammate for now I guess. Would the teachers base team comp on gossip? I mean teasing these two seemed almost to easy.

Deku was a simp and would mostly faint if a girl kissed him. While Ochaco was the bubbly girl who found Deku's behavior cute. In comparison Ochaco likely would've been paired with Me obviously or Shoji. As it would be different from the usual whats the word?

I blinked broken from my thoughts as Erin was thrown straight into the goal. She landed on her hands and preformed a back flip. The extra flourish where she bowed was a bit much. However Ida and Erin were a good combo for escaping. I think principal Nezu would've been a more accurate test of skill. Specially since Denki and Mina would've had a been tested all the same with Power Loader. Nezu and Power Loader were both trappers. The open field of Power Loader though was much easier to Ida and Erin.

"What do you think about Erin's quirk Des?"

"Huh? oh the other applications? or how she seems still superhuman."

Deku scratched his face, "I guess both."

"Well besides possibly using her blood as a transfusion to get rid of dangerous quirks. Well she mostly just has her own well eh?"

"It is strange though how she still seems..."

"Flexible?" Ochaco tried to finish Deku's sentence. Honestly though it didn't really fit. Ida managed to throw Erin a good 30 meters from spinning? if not more then 30 meters. I could understand Ida not getting sick from the spinning, but for Erin it was certainly different. Not to mention on top of that she managed to dodge power loader trying to grab her.

I had to shrug and play dumb though. I knew the reason, I just couldn't vocalize it though. I turned back to the two. "How do you think Momo and Shoto are gonna do?"

"I'm not quite sure, both are top of our class when it comes to grades and they both have powerful quirks."

Ochaco followed Deku's points. "I honestly think Mr.Aizawa might go easy on them."

"Why do you say that Uraraka?"

"Well realistically if are exams are supposed to be based on our weaknesses...What are their weaknesses?"

I had to agree, "Confidence, uh maybe way of thinking? From the cameras it seems Shoto is taking charge and Momo does have an idea, but she wants to try Shoto's plan first. I think she might need to be more selfish and Todoroki needs to be more selfless?"

Deku nodded, "T-That does sound like a good point..." It dawned on me Deku was avoiding me. I guess that makes sense, but Ochaco is a tad obvious isn't she. More focused then lost though.

"Well it won't be long until we have to go Ochaco. Might as well head out."

"Good luck you two!"

"Thanks Midoriya!"
