Chapter 16

~Wednesday, 1-A Classroom~

"Man yesterday was a chaotic day…" murmured Izuku on his way to the classroom as he bypassed the remains of the broken Gate. 'But was it really the press yesterday? The Gate looks like it was disintegrated… A Quirk like this should be easy to identify amongst the members of the press. Could there be more?'

Nodding to Snipe the Teacher who was currently guarding the Entrance, preventing anyone unwelcome from bypassing, Izuku continued on his way. 'No point in breaking my head about it. The Teachers will be already taking care of it. No way someone pragmatic like Aizawa-Sensei wasn't able to come to the same conclusion.' He decided as he entered his Classroom.

"Man Izubro you were amazing yesterday." Greeted the redhead Kirishima as Izuku stepped into the Classroom.

"Yeah, Midori. That was totally awesome. You were so heroic saving poor Toru from the masses." Gushed the Pink skinned Girl Mina.

"Eh, thanks, guys. I just did what I thought was right." Replied Izuku awkwardly not used to all this praise, before he spotted the Invisible Girl squirming in her seat. "Oh, Hagakure-san. Are you over the shock from yesterday?" he asked concerned.

"Yes, thank you Midoriya. You saved my life yesterday. I knew I voted for the right Person as Class president." Said the Invisible Girl.

"Don't mention it. I would do it again." He replied with a bright smile trying to copy All Might's smile, "So you were the last person who voted for me. Thank you!"

After chatting with the others for a while Izuku headed for his seat before the Class begins. Performing his duty as class president he greeted their Teacher as soon as he stepped into the room, announcing the beginning of the Day.

~After Lunch, Foundational Hero Studies~

"For the foundational hero studies today, it was decided that the class will be thought by three instructors. A three-man team comprising All Might, another Instructor, and me." Announced Aizawa sensei as he arrived for their Afternoon classes.

'It was decided? Is it a special case?' thought Izuku as he listened to the introduction.

"Sensei what will we be doing?" asked Hanta Sero a dark-haired teen with a tape Quirk.

"One of the basic skills for a Hero. Be it a flood or another disaster…" he announced as he showed a tag to the class with the word 'RESCUE', "It's the Trial of Rescue."

"That sounds difficult this early."Totally!"If it's a flood then that environment is my specialty."Added Asui, as chatter spread through the Classroom, discussing the new Trial.

"Don't get ahead of yourselves." Calmed their Homeroom teacher the Class down. "As I was explaining, whether you wear your Costume is entirely up to each of you. Some of your Costumes are probably not adapted to the task at hand after all." He explained as the compartments that kept their Hero Gear stored opened up. "The training area is pretty far away, we will get there by Bus. That's all, get ready."

Once again everyone including Izuku changed into their Hero Costumes before heading off to the front of the School where a Bus was already waiting for them.

Feeling the Class wasn't organized to his liking enough Iida took it upon himself to manage the Students, for an efficient boarding. "In order to get everyone started, step into two lines according to your seat numbers."

Recognizing that it was actually a City bus, Izuku interrupted the overenthusiastic student. "Eh, I don't think it's that kind of Bus, Iida. Your System won't work here. Everyone just get on the bus in an orderly fashion. Sit however you like."

On the Bus, "You were right, Midoriya." Mutters the glassed teen as held a palm onto his face.

Izuku ended up sitting beside Tsuyu Asui and Momo. As the frog-like girl began to talk to him, "Hey Midoriya, I always say what I think, no matter what's on my Mind." She explained as she got his attention and many of their Classmates.

"Yes, Asui?" he asked a bit confused.

"Call me Tsuyu." She said, "Your Quirk is very versatile. Is it really one Quirk? Quirk Erasure, Gravity Manipulation, and Storage are all very powerful abilities as individual Quirks."

This shocked him a bit since he didn't use his powers very often yet in front of them, as she pretty accurately listed the individual abilities of his devil fruit and suspected it not being a Quirk.

"Eh, I pretty much have the power to manipulate darkness. This darkness I possess acts very similarly to a black hole, allowing me to have some control over gravity. But more importantly, it allows me to store things as it compresses them down infinitely." He explained without lying, just leaving some things out. "At first I destroyed everything I stored there, but after practicing it for months. I was able to store things there safely. Although living beings won't survive there for long."

"That's a very powerful and flashy quirk, unlike mine." Added Kirishima to the discussion. "My hardening Quirk is great for Fist fights but not really flashy."

"Well, I think it's an awesome Quirk. Absolutely a quirk useful for a Pro Hero." Said Midoriya.

"Pro Work, huh? A lot about heroics is a popularity contest too." Said the Naval Laser user, Yuga Aoyama who was sitting on the opposite side of Izuku. "My Naval Laser is very flashy and strong enough for the pro level."

"But it'd be bad if your stomach collapsed." Replied Mina with a laugh shocking the shining Laser teen. "If we're talking about flashy and strong then you can't forget Bakugo and Todoroki, they are up there in the ranking with Midori."

"Bakugo won't be very popular with his personality." Answered Tsuyu bluntly gaining the anger of the explosive teen.

"YOU BITCH I'LL BE POPULAR TOO!" he shouted.

"See." She just said as he just proved her point.

'Man Kacchan is getting teased. UA is completely different.' Thought Izuku was happy that the discussion strayed away from his Devil Fruit Powers.

"We're almost there. Settle down already…" grumbled their Teacher sitting at the front of the Bus.

After forty-five minutes on the bus, they finally reached their destination and were greeted by the pro heroine Thirteen. After getting a short introduction to the Unforeseen Simulation Joint. USJ in short and their upcoming lesson they finally stepped into the large building.

"Thank you for coming everyone. As you may or may not know the USJ is a simulation joint as its name implies that focuses on different scenarios. You have things like shipwrecks, landslides, fires, and the likes." Thirteen told them before looking at their teacher.

Aizawa moved forward. "Alright listen up. For the rest of the lesson, you'll be in Thirteen's care and will…" He stopped as there was a surge in the building before the power was cut off. There was still plenty of light seeing as it was still daytime but everything was noticeably quieter.

'What is happening?' Thought Midoriya as he stood in front of his classmates. Spotting something in the Center of the Plaza below them.

Down below in the center of the USJ, a dark blue portal appeared and a shadowy mass emerged that took the form of a man. Aizawa frowned and turned to his students.

"Everyone huddle together. Try and see if you can contact the school." He ordered. As more and more people appeared through the Portal.

'Villains.' Realized Izuku as his mind was already full on analyzing the Situation, 'Are they the ones responsible for the broken Gate yesterday?'

"What is happening Aizawa-sensei? Is this part of the Trial?" asked the Kirishima confused as the Class spotted the appearing Villains.

"Stay put," ordered Aizawa as he put on his yellow goggles. "Those are villains!"
