Izuku wiped the sweat from his brow as he finished his morning training with Hawks. The early sunlight streamed into the training room, casting a golden glow on the polished floor.
"Great work today, Izuku," Hawks said, clapping him on the back. "You've come a long way."
"Thanks, Hawks," Izuku replied, breathing heavily but smiling. "Your training has been invaluable."
'However, your training is still weak in comparison to the training Kaina gave me,' thought Izuku as he was acting tired.
Hawks grinned. "Just keep it up. We've got a big day ahead of us."
Izuku nodded and headed to his room. After a quick shower, he put on his UA gym uniform and closed his eyes, focusing on his destination. In a blink, he teleported to Hero Tower, where Kaina was waiting.
Kaina looked up as Izuku appeared, a smile spreading across her face as she stood up and hugged Izuku, after kissing his lips. "Izuku, good to see you back, you have no idea how much I missed you."
"It hasn't even been one whole day yet, and you still missed me?" asked Izuku with an amused smile.
"Of course, for you, it might have been just a few hours, but for me, those few hours all alone felt like days," said Kaina as she snuggled harder.
Izuku simply smiled as he kissed her lips and said, "That's why I love you so much."
"Ready for the revenge? We are going to meet the Hero Public Safety Commission today."
Kaina's smile faded slightly. "What time are we meeting them?"
"In the noon, apparently they will be sending a plane for us," Izuku said, his tone serious. "I have a perfect plan in mind. I'll transform you into me and you will go with Hawks. I'll follow after."
Kaina raised an eyebrow. "Go as you? What do you mean? How will I be able to act like you? What if I'm caught?"
Izuku said, "Don't worry about it, I'll be telling you what to do, and how to act. Don't worry too much, if you get caught, just let me know, and we'll kill all of them.
While you keep the elders busy, I want to check the whole building, to see if the files that can prove you innocent are here or not, and also if I can find the sensitive files that can show times when HPSC made you get rid of people who were a threat to them and not the society.
While at that, I'll also quickly surveil the building and neutralize threats. But for that, I need time, and so it would be best if it's you who goes as Izuku." Izuku explained.
Kaina nodded slowly. "I see. But won't Hawks notice?"
"Don't worry, he won't be able to figure it out. I'll tell you how to act and what to say, so don't worry about it. Just be ready to get your revenge, and just control your anger not to jump at them the second you see them," said Izuku cautioning her.
Kaina looked into Izuku's eyes, seeing the look that said, 'Everything is under control.' Kaina nodded with a devilish smile as she said, "Don't worry, I won't jump on them till you signal me to," as Izuku transformed her into himself.
Her body shimmered and began to shift, taking on Izuku's features. In moments, an identical copy of Izuku stood before him.
Izuku handed her his uniform jacket. "Here, put this on. It'll complete the look."
Kaina, now Izuku, took the jacket and put it on, adjusting it to fit perfectly. She looked at him, now his mirror image. "How do I look?"
"Perfect," Izuku said, nodding in approval. "Remember, stay calm, and follow my lead. I'll join you as soon as I can."
Kaina nodded, her expression serious. "Got it. See you soon, Izuku."
Izuku then teleported her to the room he stayed in, just as Hawks' voice sounded from outside. "Toji, are you ready?" he called, knocking on the door.
Kaina said in Izuku's voice, "In a minute," as Hawks replied, "Meet me in the lobby."
"Got it," Kaina responded.
As Kaina left to meet Hawks, Izuku took a deep breath and prepared himself. He needed to control his anger to not kill them the instant he saw them. He teleported to a nearby location, following Hawks and Kaina.
---
Hawks and Kaina, disguised as Izuku arrived in Kyoto, as they walked through the grand doors of the Hero Public Safety Commission's headquarters. The building was imposing, its sleek design and high-security presence reflecting the serious nature of the work conducted inside.
"Alright, 'Izuku,' this is it," Hawks said, placing a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "Remember, just be yourself and listen carefully to what they have to say."
Kaina nodded, feeling a mix of excitement and anger. "Got it." She took deep breaths to calm herself down.
They were greeted by a stern-looking receptionist who directed them to the meeting rooms. As they approached, a member of the commission stepped out to meet them.
"Hawks, Toji, welcome," the member said. "Hawks, you'll need to report to the information department about your ongoing task. Toji, please come with me."
Hawks gave Kaina a final nod before heading off in the opposite direction. Kaina followed the commission member into a large, well-lit meeting room where several senior members were seated.
"Welcome, Toji," one of the elders said with a warm smile. "Please, have a seat."
Kaina sat down, trying to calm her nerves as the elders began to speak. She knew Izuku was nearby, ready to back her up. All she had to do was play her part and wait for the right moment.
---
Izuku, who entered the HPSC Headquarters behind Hawks and Kaina, blended himself among the crowd. He moved stealthily through the halls, his senses heightened. He had a mission, and he couldn't afford to be distracted.
As he navigated the building, he kept an eye out for any sign of security or hidden rooms while evading the cameras. His instincts told him that the files he needed wouldn't be in plain sight. After a few minutes of careful searching, he noticed a heavily guarded door at the end of a corridor.
'That must be it,' Izuku thought. He waited for an opportunity, then swiftly took down the guards, ensuring they were unconscious but alive. He didn't want to raise any alarms, so he tied them to the entrance.
Izuku entered the room, which appeared to be a simple office at first glance. But his keen eyes noticed a slight discrepancy in the wall. He pressed against it, and a hidden door slid open, revealing a secret room filled with files and documents.
"Gotcha," Izuku muttered under his breath. He quickly began searching through the files, looking for anything that could prove Kaina's innocence or expose the HPSC's corruption. As he rifled through the documents, he found several files labeled "Confidential" and "Top Secret."
One file caught his eye: "Case 23-47: Lady Nagant." He opened it and found detailed reports of missions, false accusations, and the real reasons behind the targets Kaina was ordered to eliminate. It was all here—proof of her innocence and evidence of the HPSC's manipulation.
Besides it was "Case 23-48: Lady Nagant." It contained how Kaina was turned into a rogue agent/villain. Everything was mentioned in detail, and it also contained the sign of all the elders.
"How stupid can you be even to make such a thing, this file alone can prove my Kaina's innocence, and how she was wrongly accused." Izuku laughed as he went through more files.
Izuku also found a file titled "Classified Operations." He skimmed through it and discovered sensitive information about all heroes and their missions, all manipulated by the HPSC for their gain. Those files contained everything: real names of the heroes, their addresses, the missions completed—both on record and off the record—joint operations conducted by them, and even detailed knowledge about Tartarus and its prisoners, including those wrongly framed by the HPSC.
There was a full section on classified operations which was filled with these files. It documented families destroyed for the HPSC's benefit or for money paid by politicians or businessmen. Individuals charged with fake cases were all mentioned in these files. Every single detail was there. Izuku grinned with satisfaction and said, "Jackpot." This was the leverage he needed.
Suddenly, Izuku heard footsteps approaching. He quickly gathered the files, securing them in a briefcase he found in the room. As the door began to open, he quickly teleported to the hero tower where he kept the briefcase in the secret room that Izuku had for his quirk book before as he said, "I'll look at it later on," as he teleported back to the HPSC meeting hall where Kaina was there.
Two guards entered, looking around suspiciously. "Did you hear something?" one of them asked.
"Probably just the wind," the other replied. "Let's keep moving."
They left the room, not seeing that the whole confidential and classified operations section was empty, with all the files missing.
