"My girlfriend, Lily Jiang." Lin Que smiled as he stood protectively by Lily's side. Taking a clean cloth from the table, he bent down to her eye level and wiped her mouth. While soothing her back, he said, "Why did you eat that quickly. What if you choke?"

Hearing his softened tone, Director Chu saw one word in front of him: "Doom!"

His body shook from humiliation as he glared at the couple in front of him. Lily pushed his hand away lightly and looked up to Director Chu. "Director Chu, it hasn't been that long since we've last met. Have you missed getting thrown out that badly to show up in front of me this quickly? I'm afraid your pants aren't the stretchy type just like last time. Hopefully you have double layered pads for your back door."

"You! CEO Lin, what is the meaning of this? You just showed interest to invest in my company! You even said three billion were no problem. Even raising it to fifty billion would be fine!" Director Chu chewed on his lips frustratedly.

"Director Chu, What other meaning could I have? I've already told you who were in charge in finalizing the funds for the investment project. Since you believe you have the capabilities to convince me, then what's wrong with repeating your words to my girlfriend? Like I said, she is the one who calls the shots. Aren't you the one who needs the finances?"

Staring at Director Chu with a mischievous look, Lin Que didn't allow any spaces for him to fight back. Besides, he only gave him a hypothetical situation about investment. He never signed nor verbally agreed to contribute to the project. What faults would he have even if Director Chu speaks in depth about their conversation?

"You're basically trolling me at this point. We all know the results of my presentation already! Asking her is equivalent to ruining myself! Degrading my pride! I would never scoop that low!" Director Chu raged as he lashed out at the couple.

Hearing the man's big talk angered Yao Yao. She's been in the business field for long enough to meet different types of people. Director Chu was the first to slam against the table while begging for financial help! He even dared speak that way to her future daughter-in-law!

"I say, Director Chu, was it? My hearing has always been good. I don't need your speaker voice to scream like a chicken getting its neck twisted by my side. If you're here to talk about investment, then you can scram. The way you dared to speak to our family's Lily with such rudeness doesn't sound like you need help at all. Even if you tried convincing us about investing in your company; the results are the same as crashing your car down a cliff with an activated bomb stuck to your driver's seat."

Yao Yao took a piece of fruit and started digging in her food. Lin Que smiled when he heard his mother's back up. Lily felt Yao Yao's pat against the back of her hands. At this moment, Lily was wondering what she should say or just keep quiet. Most of the words that she could say have been taken already by them.

After some consideration, she decided to sit back and watch the show. Maintaining a smile on her face, she continued playing with the food on her plate.

"And who are you to speak? Ma'am, you should know that even if I am in a distressed situation, I'm still the director of Chu Entertainment. Right now, I am still sitting in that position. If you're not famous enough for me to know you, then you aren't worthy to speak." Crossing his arms, Director Chu's face turned red from Yao Yao's insults.

"Director Chu, your words are slapping against your face. There are many faces you've never seen because you are the unworthy one to reach the level of acknowledgement. Even if you see someone often, you may not be qualified enough to know their identity. For instance, you have seen me before but never known about my identity. How much of a failure are you to lose out on such a huge piece of information?"

Lily could withstand any words directed at her, but wouldn't allow him to act rash towards anyone she liked. Facing Lily's remarks against him, Director Chu kept his mouth shut. He was thinking of comebacks or anything to piss the other party off!

Just when he parted his lips to spout his nonsense again; Lin An entered the picture. Seeing the big shot walk in, Director Chu quickly sealed his lips and formed a smile. "Mister Lin An..."

Lin An had heard everything just now and was not going to let him get away after insulting his wife. Wrapping his arm around Yao Yao, Lin An sat down to the empty seat next to hers. "Director Chu, we are not too familiar. Therefore, no need to address me by my full name. Just Mister Lin is fine. I overheard your conversation about investment. Am I correct?"

"Yes..." Director Chu didn't dare raise his head anymore. He figured the person Lin An had just hugged intimately must be someone important! Perhaps, his wife?

"Since Lin Que had said it was a good proposal, I can invest in your company." Yao Yao pinched Lin An's thighs making him straighten up his back from pain.

"See? This is what I mean by men's talk in businesses. All women should be thrown aside when making decisions. CEO Lin is too young and inexperienced." Director Chu's mood increased when he heard Lin An's words.

"Under one condition." Lin An clapped his hands and waiters lined up with bottles of liquor. Slowly, the table was filled with twenty bottles of liquor.

"What's the condition?"

"Drink it all." Lin An's dominant voice commanded as if he was an emperor summoning a eunuch.

"But that's impossible! I would get alcohol poisoning! Mister Lin, you.." Director Chu looked at the drinks on the table and felt his stomach flipping upside down.

"Didn't Director Chu say you didn't want to discuss with Lily? Now that you're communicating with me about the investment, let's see how prideful and high profile you are. Go on. You want the investment, don't you?" Lin An's pressuring words gave him no chances to walk away without humiliation.
