Creation #11

With the cooperation of the head scientists of Baldimore and the Marines, the defeated scientists were subdued and brought in for questioning.

The Union itself was named as a terrorist or hate group and the main members were imprisoned while those others who had less involvement with the true goals of the group were put under watch by the country.

Although many escaped imprisonment, they had a stain on the records and the country were now watching them more closely.

If they returned to their old ways and formed another group with similar ideals then they would all be imprisoned along with the leader and his men.

While being imprisoned, the leader suffered large damage from several of the kicks done to his body and was unable to fix himself so he could not put up any resistance against the Marine's who had captured and interrogated him.

With the large amount of evidence and a large supply of dangerous weapons being amassed within his underground laboratory, he and those closest to him were quickly charged with numerous crimes.

Afterwards some Marine's visited Dr Tsukimi's home to get a statement from Ein, Alyssia, Nica and Ashwin.

After giving their statements on what they had discovered and how they uncovered the plot, the couple of low ranking Marines thanked them for their contribution.

Even if they were suspicious of the outsiders goals and origin, they had to respect the old man who was protecting them.

The Marines may have high authority and power within the world but when it comes to getting involved with a countries politics and those with money or influence, they often had to lower their heads and look the other way.

Their justice was not perfect and they did not have the right to interfere too much in the countries issues.

Many Marines learn very quickly that nobles or people of high influence can find ways to affect their careers if they choose to go against them.

Those pursuing justice and weren't able to look the other way were examples of this as some dirty nobles came for revenge after digging into the crimes they had committed.

Some bribes helped to make their crimes go away and those people would suffer from framing and be put on difficult missions leading to their career being ruined and even the risk of death being high.

Those who had experienced the darkness within the Marines were all under an understanding that if they did not have the power or ranking then they could not truly pursue the justice that they believe in.

Their justice can easily be crushed in the face of wealth, fame and power so those near the bottom or taking up tasks in difficult environments had often learned to look the other way to survive.

During the time that Franky landed on Baldimore, the Marine presence and power was very low and was unable to subdue him and being unable to stop him from living in Vegapunk's laboratory.

Even at this time, Alyssia could detect that most of the people on the island were just low ranking soldiers that were no threat to someone like the leader of the Scientific Union.

Their sole task was to maintain public safety and arrest any criminals that caused trouble on the island while maintaining a positive and non threatening presence there.

If they continued to make a commotion and upset the higher ups and begin to use force for certain things then it would be reported to someone above saying that they are affecting the countries peace.

The Marines had always been known as those who save the weak and are trying to maintain peace but if they were known to be making a show of force or trying to undermine those in power within a country, it would affect their image in a really bad way.

Since many of the higher ups do not wish for their image to be stained, they would rather punish those who brought about that situation and try to placate those who had made the complaints.

After finishing up the investigation and other things related to the Scientific Union, Alyssia put forward several announcements to the public about Creation including their goals and how to become a member.

After destruction comes the time for creation and this was true for the science groups.

Creation was created to oppose such groups with self interests or dangerous ways of thinking that could harm many others so after they had played a big part in removing them, many wished to join and even some innocent people from the other group had come forward expressing their wish to change their ways and contribute to the country.

Since they were backed by Dr Tsukimi and they had his prized student who was also involved with the downfall of the Scientific Union, they gained more peoples support and very quickly gained rights over the underground laboratory after it was cleaned out.

All that was left was to wait for Alfred to arrive and to start making additional arrangements.

As for the spy that had been planted within the Scientific Union, he seemed to have disappeared afterwards not to be seen again.

Alyssia was worried that he may move over too but after some time of looking out for him, she figured that his mission was over and no longer needed to remain on the island since he had collected more than enough knowledge and experience but still lived after completing his task.

His following days would be reporting to his Cypher Pol group and submitting his report since he had narrowly avoided his own death.
