Battle for the camp 2

(POV Noir)

(I should be more careful next time. What if they hadn't retreated and ganged up on me as the poison worsened…) With a fully recovered yet still tired body, I limped my way through the battlefield.

I looked up and saw that the geodude was still in the red orb. 

'*Sigh* They're probably going to come back and I can't face them alone… I need master and his friend to help me or at the very least that dumb rock…' I said as I crawled to the camp.

I went inside the tent and rummaged through a sack huddled in the corner.

I then took out some fruits and gobbled them in hopes of getting more energy.

Suddenly I heard a loud explosion outside.

'Finally…' I mummer as I exited the tent with a handful of fruits.

I look up and see Dwayne descending to the floor in his usual dramatic pose.

I watched him descend with irritation as I took a bite out of a fruit.

'Oh fruits! Give me one!' Instead of noticing at the battlefield the first thing he focused on was the fruits.

(This dumb rock!) 'I don't think it'd be a good idea if I gave you one since-' I was cut off.

'Come on Noir it's just one fruit!' He yanked a fruit off my hand.

But before he could take a bite the fruit burned rapidly turning into sludge.

'-Since your body is still hot…' I completed my sentence a second too late.

'Oh…' Dwayne muttered as the goop slid out his hand and onto the head of one of the lizards.

*GGGGRRRRRRAAAAAHHHHHHAAAAAA*

The creature immediately awoke to the burning sludge and roared in pain before Dwayne punched him straight in the jaw.

'I am sorry for dropping hot sludge on face but please shut up your voice is very loud…' Dwayne apologetically said as he wiped the sludge off the knocked out creature's face.

(Is he a gentle giant or a dumb one?) I wondered as he patted the thing on the forehead as if saying good night.

'I believe I am the cool down now please give me the fruit.' He stated with excitement.

(Yeah definitely the dumb one…) I thought as I tossed a fruit at him.

(POV Cyrus)

"Lyra hand me a potion." I hurriedly as I noticed Noir's fatigue.

A panel dropped a potion in my hand and I quickly made the black slime drink it.

I then turned my attention to Dwayne I did a quick examination of his body and noticed that he wasn't hurt at all in fact, he was good as new with new rocks on him.

"Lyra scan the two…" I say as I examine the new scales.

(Interesting so Dwayne must have been absorbing minerals while Noir was Fighting the Girros and whatever those things are…) I summed up the situation.

"OI! Cyrus come over here!" Darrius shouted in an intrigued tone.

I put geodude down on the floor and jogged over to where he was.

"Yeah, what happened?" I asked curiously.

"These things are apparently a new species unknown to both Nexus and Lyra but one thing is for sure their venom is powerful and potent as a dad with his spiked belt and a son with an F- on his final exam …" He said as he passed me two panels.

  (Huh well ain't this intriguing…) I thought as I went through the panel with an intrigued expression under my mask and hood.

Description-

This strange poison can cause drowsiness and poison the target in a matter of seconds and with time the effects become more powerful and have a chance to cause paralysis. With a concentrated dosage, it can cause rapid corrosion on solid rocks.

"Hmm, this is interesting yet concerning… With how this thing's body is littered with decaying flesh it'd be safe to assume that it's from the Rotten Vale." I speculated as I examined the body.

<Yeah no shit Sherlock!> Nexus said irritably.

"We can't leave them here they'll wake up or attract other monsters so let's just store them away for now." Darrius suggested.

<Agreed Girros are fiercely loyal to each other and there isn't a single great among the bodies so chances this is only small portion of group. They'll track us down soon enough even if we run it's best clear place up for upcoming battle.> Lyra notified us.

"Ok we'll figure out what to do with them later so don't use necromancy on them right now Darius. So Lyra Nexus please store them away for now." I ordered them.

<On it!>

<Roger dodger…>

Immediately panels flew out of Darrius and me and honed in on the monsters storing them away.

"Before we fight it would be best we figure out our roles in the battle! So Darrius what creatures have you used necromancy on?" I asked with seriousness

"Just the Jagras and Namielle. I can't exactly summon the Namielle in this cave system its moves lean too much into area damage it'll harm us in the process and the cave is way too small to hold it so Jagras is the only option…" He said.

"Ok well, the Jagras should be on the front lines with Dwayne and me. Noir can be on the back and snipe the others while we fight and you-… truthfully I don't know what role I should give you Darrius I don't exactly know how you fight." I admitted.

"Well, I should be stationed somewhere between the front lines and the camp I'll be able to deal with any of the monsters that slip past you all." Darius suggested as I summoned a spear and ignited it on fire.

"Ok then let's prepare for now…" I said with a serious and surprised tone (So that's why he didn't accept…).

After twenty minutes of preparation, we finally heard faint hisses and rumbling in the distance.

"Ok let's go over the plan one more time! Me and Dwayne will be on the frontlines…" The geodude cracked his fists with anticipation.

^Ok Geo!^ He shouted in a broken Russian tone.

"Noir will guard the tent and eggs…" I looked at Noir who was suited in an Odogaron armor set and had an Odogaron insect glaive at hand.

"Darius you will deal with the ones that get through us…" I looked at Darius who had his fiery spear and armor.

"Nexus and Lyra will hurl rocks and stuff at them and tell Noir when a Girros gets close to him… and Lyra if they get past Noir store the eggs away…"

<Easy enough it'll be nice to join the battle for once.> Lyra excitedly said

<Alright what are we waiting for let's do this!> Nexus shouted.

The two systems said as multiple panels appeared out of thin air and stationed themselves everywhere.

I then sheath Techno's blade on my back and store my Neo knives in various areas of my suit along with my axes on my waist.

"Let's exterminate these pests!" I shout as I spot the Girros army and take my mana guns out of their holster.
