Decision

There was silence in the room for a few minutes.

"You said you would support us for what we are doing," I said.

"I'm still going to support you, but that does not mean I should always be emotional. I am a businessman, I think practically more. Back then the situation was different, now it is different." Grandpa said.

" You both are now grownups. Behave like one. Take responsibility, use your brain. Sacrificing everything doesn't mean will solve every situation. Sometimes we have to use situations to mend as we want. Think about what I said. You can not deny the fact that You both are heirs of The World Media. Think of how you can use your position for your goal". He said.

"Give us some time," Karl said.

"Ok, take your time till tomorrow's breakfast". Grandpa said and started walking towards the house.

"That is too much time to make a decision," I said.

"You both are my grandchildren, believe in me and yourself". He said while going and he went away.

We looked at each other. 

" Now what?" I said.

" Grandpa is right". Karl said.

"I also agree that we can not escape from our reality, we have to face it," I said.

"If we both agree on what he said, As big brother I'm asking What do you want to do?." 

" Let's team up. We have one year let's go step by step."

" Agree".

"So, it's decided then. Now let's go to sleep".

"Before going to that, You didn't even look at me this morning, you were staring at my boss like a teenage girl, What is going on sista?'.

"I was not staring, I was listening to what he was saying and you are just 1 year older than me don't behave like my dad," I said as I started to walk.

"But, do you have a crush on him? Do you need more info about him? Tell me more. I want to know." he said while going towards our rooms.

"What kind of brother are you? I don't know what you are talking about. Now go to sleep."

I shut the door.

I slept in bed and started to think about today.

This was supposed to happen one day. 

'Till now only a few knew about my identity. Others only knew that I was girl who works as an accountant at a company. What would happen? if they come to the fact that I am Pearl William, heir of The World Media and soon-to-be CEO!!

How will Jaydon react? Why am I even thinking about him? Karl has put nonsense in my brain. Crush who? Jaydon!! No...he is the one who cared about the licensing software rather than what we were briefing him about.

 I sat on my bed. ' Think straight Pearl you have something to do. No distractions are allowed. I couldn't sleep thinking of what would happen.

The next morning we were eating.

"We are ok with your offer now appointment and a year time to take the position"

Karl said to Grandpa.

"But" he added

" Till we take the positions no one should know that me and Pearl are your grandchildren and should continue as it is. You, Secretary Max and 3 directors can only have the information that we are CEOs of the company. If you are ok with this, then we can continue."

Grandpa was silent for the next few minutes.

We heard someone talking. It was Secretary Max.

" Sir, Here are the documents I prepared as per your instructions and they will be here in 30 minutes". He said to Grandpa.

"Grandpa!!!!" we said.

" I knew what you were going to say that, so I prepared everything."

In 30 minutes 3 directors came to our farmhouse. We signed the documents. 

"From now on My Grandchildren, My Pearl and My Karl are CEOs of The World Media. I will manage the company till you both know how the company works."

Everyone clapped.

"I'm so relieved and happy at the same time that my next generation will handle the business."

"I forgot to tell you, "Grandpa added.

"I had a meeting with someone, he should be here in minutes."

By that time one servent said, "Mr. Jaydon Smith is here Sir".
