Chapter 13. Breakthrough

Looking at the mercenary leader running away and the other mercenary standing there stupified, Peter just utter two words "Thunder acceleration" and he moved so fast that he became a blur, passing by the other mercenary all that was left was a headless corpse, and with the same momentum, he also beheaded the running mercenary leader, stopping and putting his sword back in, he marveled at the technique, then he noticed that something was wrong, he felt different, stronger even and so he decided to inspect his body, and to his surprise, he had broken through amid battle to the Good core realm.

Peter was pleasantly surprised, he has been stuck at the late stage of the foundation building realm for some time now, who could have guessed that he would break through now of all times, while he was having his inner monologue, he felt the presence of people approach him, looking up the first thing he sees is the middle-age woman, he first met when he woke up, she was hugging her husband, who was still unconscious while crying, he lifts his head and sees the other villagers hugging each other while crying and happy that they had survived.

Seeing this, Peter just smiled and said to the old man, while helping up from his bowing position. "am the one who is supposed to be thanking you, for taking me in and not handing me up to those mercenaries"

when Peter said that the old man's body visibly trembled, lifting his head to look at the young man in front of him, he just sigh, "no point in getting angry at his point, come with me young man" the old man says with a sigh.

Peter just nodded to the villagers and consoled the middle-aged woman, picked up her husband, he followed after the old man with the woman in tow. Getting to the old man's house in the middle of the village, the old man opened the door, went in and invited him in, showing him a place to lay the unconscious man, Peter lay him down and then turned to the old man who was already sitting, signaling for him to sit down opposite him, when Peter sat down he said, "once again thank you for helping the village, you can stay here for as long as you want"

"Thank you very much, sir," Peter said while bowing.

"By the way my name is Thanos," the old man said with a smile while he went to attend to the unconscious man on the floor.

"My name is Peter, Peter Maxwell" Peter said with a smile.

Somewhere up there, James' eyes twitched when he heard the old man's name, but said nothing and just kept paying attention. But he decided to look in Sam's direction, now slightly surprised knowing that the location between Sam and Peter is a little bit larger than he had imagined. That right after finding out that Peter was in a village, he had wanted Sam to go meet Peter in that village, and maybe get a believer or two from them.

Looking at Peter and seeing that the middle-aged man was awake, and he thanked the old age man (Thanos) and then they went back to their house, turning back to the still sleeping Sam, he thought 'man can this guy sleep, it's been nine hours already' so he decided to wake him up, waving his hand a little, Sam got up with a start while looking around, it was already getting dark, but he saw a floating screen in front of him, knowing it's a message from his God he quickly read it. it says,

"travel east to the village of Dawn"

That's all the message said and Sam decided to move out, but it was already getting dark so he decided to find a place to rest for the night.
