I’m Voldemort (MCU Xover)

On the day that an 11-year-old Tom Riddle receives his Hogwarts acceptance letter, his soul merges with a transmigrated soul from our world. A new Tom Riddle is born and he’ll take the wizarding world by storm. With his future knowledge and some creativity, he’ll achieve any goal that he sets his mind to. Oh, and also he’s in the MCU/X-men movie world as well. No harem BTW (A/N: I tried something like this before with my old story ‘I’m Harry Potter (MCU Xover)’. This time I’ll stick with it and hopefully make an amazing story for you to read.) If you like my writing, consider supporting on Patreon. I'll have advanced chapters there for you to read as well. https://www.patreon.com/AlienWarlord

Thanks for the Power Stones and enjoy the chapter!)

The school year came and went quickly and the summer arrived yet again.

School was about as easy as ever for Tom and that includes the OWL's. While every 5th-year student was going crazy over the test, Tom just sat back and relaxed.

He's been the top student for a while and studies advanced magic in his free time, so he was never worried about the OWL's.

When it came the time to take the test, Tom breezed through it with relative ease. The fifth-year Slytherins breezed through their tests as well, especially Druella who has been studying under Tom since they arrived at Hogwarts.

When the year came to an end, Tom could see some real unity forming between the houses of Hogwarts. Not everyone is friendly, as radicals exist in every group, but everything is moving in the right direction.

When Tom exited the train after a long ride back, he said his goodbye to everyone and went on his way.

Before heading to Kamar-Taj as usual, Tom went to Tintagel to check on his rarest items. In the vault of the castle, Tom found all three items where he left them. Except one of these items was not like the others.

The analysis runes above the Resurrection Stone froze in place unlike the runes above the Space Stone and the Cloak.

A delighted smile graced Tom's face. The analysis of the stone had been going long before he found the other items.

Grabbing a piece of paper, Tom touched it to the golden eldritch runes. The runes soak into the paper and words began to appear.

Once the process was finished, Tom started reading over the paper in curiosity.

The paper stated that the stone has no curses or anything of the sort attached to it. It was great to hear because Tom still hasn't had a chance to look into breaking things like that.

What the paper said after that slightly worried him.

The analysis of the power the stone holds was explained slightly, but everything after that is nothing but a bunch of gibberish. Random letters, numbers, and symbols filled most of the page.

The stone is said to be the only object that would bring back the spirits of the holder's deceased loved ones, activating when turned three times in the user's hand. These shades are said to dislike being drawn from their rightful afterlife.

From what little of the page that made sense, Tom learned that the legend of the stone is mostly true.

The stone can bring any deceased spirit back into the living world, not just loved ones. Although, Tom would have to know who he's bringing back by name. He can't just say he wants to meet the creator of the sword and suddenly that person would appear.

It is also true that these spirits will not be happy about being summoned. The longer they reside in the living world, the more uncomfortable and angry they will become. The living world is meant for the living, and those without a body to inhabit will be truly displeased.

The activation of the stone is the same as the legend as well.

Speaking of activating the stone, Tom wanted to do his first test. First, he leaves the vault so the Space Stone stays hidden. Who knows if others in the living world can summon the dead as well. Tom doesn't need some ghost spreading the word of where the space stone is hidden.

Grabbing the stone with no fear of curses any longer, he turned it three times in his palm.

The ghostly figure of a thin average looking woman materializes before him. She has brown hair, green eyes, and looks slightly unhealthy and malnourished.

The second she appears, the woman glares around the room questioningly. Her life experience leaving her with little trust toward others but herself.

"Hello, Mother." Tom says as he stares at the specter before him.

"M-mother!?" The ghost of Merope Gaunt says and turns to see the most piercing red eyes she's ever seen.

Those eyes belonged to her son. Some of the more religious nurses that helped her give birth said those eyes were a sign of the devil.

Of course, these types of people were silenced by the matron of Wools Orphanage where she gave birth. Later, the Matron would regret not believing those nurses.

Merope remembers staring at her cute little baby in his bright red eyes as she died of childbirth. She didn't regret giving birth to him one single bit. Her child was one of the only things she was proud to have created in her horrible life.

"T-Tom is that really you? How am I here?" She says as she lunges forward with her arms opened wide to hold her son.

As she about to come in contact with her son, Merope passes through him as if Tom weren't standing there.

"Huh!? What's going on?" A look of heartbroken appears on her face as she tries and fails to hug her son once again.

"You're dead. I summoned you with one of the Hallows, the resurrection stone. I needed to test how it worked and you were someone I wanted to meet at least once." Tom says with a small smile on his face.

His mind and soul may only be half Tom Riddle, but she is still his mother. They may not have ever met and Tom won't be resurrecting her, but every orphaned child wants to meet their parents if they could.

His father lost the chance for this to happen between them when he left his own child in an orphanage while knowing full well where he was. Although, It's hard to blame the guy with what his mother put him through.

"Oh... That's incredible! The Hallows are real?" She asks with a proud smile seeing that her son owns one of the fabled Deathly Hallows.

"Yes, but that's not important right now. You can only stay for a short time since the stone has some downsides." Tom says as he takes a seat and looks over his mother.

"You look like life wasn't very kind to you." Tom says as he sees the condition of his mother's soul.

"No, It wasn't. I hope life has been kinder to you than it was for me." She says with a questioning gaze and Tom nods to her with a smile.

For an hour, Tom and Merope spoke about their lives. Of course, Tom didn't release any secrets that could compromise his plans. He also made her promise not to speak of the resurrection stone in the after life.

By the time they were finished, Tom truly felt bad for his mother. She was born into a horrible family and mistreated all of her life. The lack of love in her upbringing caused her to crave it from a muggle man that had no interest in her. Then came the story we all know, but what many don't know is what happened after Tom Sr. ran her off.

She had to survive on the streets with nothing as a pregnant woman for over a month. Thoughts of returning to her family were immediately thrown away, as her darling child would be killed without a second thought. The Gaunts do not take kindly to tainted blood after all.

She had to sell her precious locket that once belonged to Salazar Slytherin. What hurt even more was the low price of 10 Galleons which it sold for. Tom made a mental note to reclaim the locket sooner or later.

"It seems that our time is up." Tom says, not wanting to keep her too long as she could become moody.

"Really? But I want to stay and speak to you some more." His mother says sadly.

"Sorry, but that can't happen." Tom shakes his head and his mother breaks down in tears. "Before I send you off, I would like to thank you for giving birth to me. I enjoy my life immensely and since you're the one that gave it to me I'm truly thankful."

As he says this, Tom turns the stone three-times and his mother disappears as tears roll down her ghostly face.

'I have to get Mimsy to clean the dust in here.' Tom thought as he wipes the mist from his eyes.
