"That prick he always holds grudges" Jhon looked out the window as he saw Thomas leave.

"What do you mean dad? Did you do something to him?" Liam asked curiously. He knew that his father and his godfather Thomas have been friends since high school.

"Well I cheated him with a discount on our home, and ever since then he has been wary of me," Jhon said as he tucked his suit while looking at Liam's gaze. "Anyways don't tell your mom about the cigarette ok? She'll kill me if she finds out I've been smoking in front of you"

"Sure I know how wives can be," Liam said as he shakes his head due to his father's troubles. "It's ok Dad I know how you feel"

"Uhh? Ok?" John just stood there looking at Liam who was walking away. "What the hell did he mean?" Jhon murmured under his breath and followed Liam from behind.

"So what do you think Liam," Jhon asked, he put aside what his son had told him earlier. He stood by the side of Liam while looking at his expression.

"It's amazing, we just need to rearrange some stuff, and then I want a sign at the top of the building saying "Marvel" Liam looked out the window from the top floor of the building.

"I can arrange some workers for that," Jhon said, he has been reading some of Liam's works; Ironman, Hulk, and Captain America. He has been updated on every new superhero Liam had created.

Jhon knew that sooner or later Liam was going to create his own publishing company but this was sooner than he thought.

"Hmm, Dad the building across ours is it for sale?" Liam asked as he looked at his father's curious gaze.

"Well I did some background research and that place is also a publishing company, but it has been abandoned like this one, the original owner was having problems selling newspapers and magazines that it led to bankruptcy. " Jhon said as he opened a folder reading the description of the building across theirs.

"You wanna buy that building?" John asked, this place was close to their home and this part of the city has been rundown, many numerous buildings have been abandoned.

Though their initial plan was downtown, there weren't that many for-sale buildings. Due to that, they had to relocate. This also changed Liam's mind as Jhon suggested a company close to their home would be better.

Though he was curious why Liam wanted to create his publishing company in an abandoned lot he didn't care and just asked Thomas to search for a suitable building.

"I was planning on buying five buildings," Liam said as he stared at the other four abandoned buildings.

What he was planning was simple, the first building that he bought will be Marvel's first-ever publishing company, the second building will be DC, and the third and fourth buildings will be comic bookstores each bookstore will be categorized by Marvel and Dc.

Lastly, the fifth building will be a Dc-Marvel themed café which Liam knew would be a pop hit with the fans. Liam got the idea due to those anime-themed cafes in Japan that were a huge hit with their fans.

"Hmm, five buildings what is the use for it?" John asked, though he knew that Liam had plans of his own he wanted to know what Liam was planning.

"Let's simply say I want to create a comic-based little street" Liam gave a smile to his father, he knew that his father could easily understand what he meant.

John thought about it for a few minutes and he couldn't help but laugh at his son's statement. "Now that's genius!" Jhon held Liam in his embrace. "God I can't help but say this again, you are a freaking genius son!"

"Yeah I know, but Dad please put me down this is embarrassing," Liam said as he was getting crushed with his dad's arms. "Also I can feel your uh muscles, especially your pecks"

"Oh sorry, I just got excited" Jhon put down Liam as he held his son's shoulders. "I'll contact Thomas again but before that, we need to settle the contract of this place. Thomas already has given me the contract it's in the car you just have to give it a signature then the building is yours. Now come on let's go"

As Jhon hurriedly left. Liam stood there while looking at the ceiling of his newly acquired building. "Guess this is where the real adventure starts, also were my dad that ripped?"

Liam thought about it but he rarely paid attention to his father's overall appearance. "I didn't know he was that ripped" Liam just threw his thoughts out in the trash as he began walking to the parking lot.

After arriving at the parking lot, Liam looked at his father standing while leaning on the car holding a cigarette. "He is pretty ripped, how did I just notice this right now?"

"Liam hurry up," John said as he waved at Liam from afar.

Liam ran closer to his dad and immediately held his hand. "Your ripped Dad, how did I just notice this right now? You work out?"

"Huh? Uh yeah I work out, you didn't notice this?" John asked as he looked at his son's curious gaze while holding his hand.

"Yeah I just noticed this right now, will I have this body If I grow up?" Liam thought about it in his past life he was skinny, he did try working out but his asthma prevented him to do so.

"Yeah I'm sure with the right training and workout you will have this kind of body," Jhon said a little weirded out by his son's reaction. "Um anyways let's get back to the contract shall we Liam?"

"Huh oh yeah" Liam held the brown envelope and opened it, in the content were just about the ownership of the buildings and so on. Liam held the pen after reading the contents and immediately signed the contract.

"Great now I will hire some construction workers to get the place done as much as you would like, I'll immediately hire some so the sooner this place gets renovated the better" Jhon held the contract looking at the signature. "Well now let's go home your mother is alone at home right now"

"Ok sure let's go home," Liam said as he buckled himself in the car as they drove home.

While driving home John looked in the rear mirror watching Liam who was looking out the window. "So after the rearrangement and the overall change in the building, we need to hire employees, artists, and your very own secretary"

"Dad, can you help me then? The company would be big and the workers may not listen to me, I need you to give orders Dad" Liam knew that since he is treated as a child the employees may not listen to him, and that's why he needs his father for the supervision of the company.
